It'd be nice if you had a little more "glue", or at least ways to find Oracle's Vault.
How about... Reason // Believe?
I'd also replace the top end with things that I could actually hardcast, so no RWB stuff.
Thanks for your input! I tried to improve the deck with what I have, will buy a few cards (maybe I can get Nissa) soon, too.
One of my more liked casual (not like it isn't anyway) variant of Commander is the one where you have a 2nd commander that costs less and has to be cast first. So I am happy with this new mechanic, opens quite the deck building potential.
Gotta say, this set has me the least excited since I started playing (RTR). I guess the mechanics don't appeal to me.
Fabricate should always be for creature tokens, if you use it for counters it's probably since you are already in trouble, also the cards seem balanced around the tokens, not the counters. Crew reminds me of Outlast, at least it is stronger than that. Energy is very cool and the most enticing for me to build a deck, yet most cards only produce enough energy for 1-2 uses of their own, trying to use the energy from one card on another makes the first one useless. The best way to produce energy seems landfall/token, both of which are kinda slow and force you in your deck building quite a bit. Will need quite a bit of goldfishing to find an energy deck I like.
That said, I'll be making a R/W commander deck out of this.
Um it's got a cmc of 3 but a morph of 4? Why bother then? So you can surprise your opponent?
Disregarding likeliness and playability, just assume you have both this and Ruthless Ripper, while your opponent has a removal spell.
Situation a) Both are face-up. Your opponent kills this and is happy with himself.
Situation b) Both are face-down. Your opponent possibly tries to kill the Ripper. You can turn it up for 2 damage, then turn this one up to draw a card. No player would kill the Ripper first if he would now the other card is the Haruspex.
Or you play him in a multicolored deck and don't have black when you want to play him first. There are many reasons to play this morphed, so even if you won't do it most of the time, it's good to have the option.
So seeing how we are going back in time in the next set and this guardian is colorless, I assume we could see those machinations at "full power", either with a colorless matters mechanic or maybe he once was colored. Sort of how we saw Darksteel Colossus changed to Blightsteel Colossus.
Maybe it's not common or uncommon because those rarities are already properly filled? Or maybe they don't want you to open this in every other pack? There are a lot of possibilities why this isn't suited for anything below rare.
Delve is finally something non-linear, you have to think about deck building instead of slamming all delve cards into a deck. Heroic also required you to run additional cards, but not to the extent of delve.

Correct me if I'm wrong but until 6 you can count them easily, everything above seems to always be 8 energy counters.

As you can see with Sunforger equipment is attached.
Thus, you can use his +1 and kill the other Garruk
But doesn't the set have 3 walkers?
Love the art we've seen, like the mechanical golem or that zombie with a scroll (?) imbued in his head.
