Great to see that MNM has never stopped rockin' along - Been getting back into things over here, been thinking about starting up the old TheManaCast.com podcasts again!

Maybe I'm missing out on the background as I don't read the books, but is there explanation why the new Ajani's abilities have no connection to what he originally did?
Not a huge fan of the books myself, but I remember randomly reading something about Ajani's brother getting killed - and then Ajani going off the deep end.

And don't worry, if we get enough negative feedback, I will gladly retire. It is something we have discussed since listeners do seem to like the tourney talk the most.
by 'we' Tom means himself - I don't think that there could be an MTGcast without him.
And sometimes when I get frustrated that you hurry Gavin and Derek along I realize that it is just because you have to keep the ball rolling else suffer a 2-hour long podcast.
all too true - pretty sure Gavin and I actually could do a 40-hour a week podcast show...

Gavin/Derek, is 5-2 really such a terrible finish? Or are you guys at the stage where you're in PTQs to win, and less than that is a disappointment?
Pretty much, after a certain point even just Top8ing isn't good enough. I would rather go 0-2 drop than go 5-2 or worse yet scrub out in the Top8(again:-/).
Oh hey, Derek finally got an account and didn't tell us! Derek: Make a request to join the writer's forum so you can get there in case Tom has any problems.
Hey now, i've had an account for a while
To whom would I make such a request?

I will say Tom is older than I am, though I won't say by how much.
Maybe we will make the age-guessing our next comment contest
Thanks again for listening everybody...
