So I finally picked up a Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale. I want to play with it but am nervous carrying it around and it getting more played possibly even damaged. I am thinking about sending it in to PSA or Beckett so it's professionally mounted in a case and safe. First off, what kind of a grade do you guys think this could get? Secondly, is it worth it to pay for the grading? Thanks in advance.
Maelstrom Archangel should be a Legendary Angel!!!! His ability is pretty legendary and then I could make the 5-color Angel EDH deck I've always wanted to make.
I'm 40 and LOVE to play this game and meet new ppl at my local LGS. If you're intimidated by lack of skill but still want to try it out, I would suggest going to the pre-release this weekend. They are full of people learning the game. It is usually a laid back casual environment. You may even meet some ppl around your same age that you get along with and maybe set up game nights at your house or somewhere outside of LGS. Good luck and get out there.
Hello all. I am usually a Pox player but wanted to try and make D&T. I couldn't find some of my cards so I thought I would take a different approach to it. In my eyes it's all D&T but looks like nothing else anything I could find. Can I get some input?
I'm looking to trade away. A guy on MOTL wants old style foils and has stuff I want. Thanks for everyone's help. I had no clue about the MM promo lands.
I know it has been discussed, but what is a fair trade value to place on bulk foil basics (Not snow, ZEN full art, UNG, UNH or promos)? Are 7th ed valued higher? How much more is the old foil style than the new foil style?
You have touched on a raw nerve of mine. It infuriates me that Maelstrom Archangel isn't legendary. I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO want to make a 5-color Angel deck but as of now, it has no general...
The only deck I have double sleeved is my fully foiled out Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind deck. I decided to double sleve it once I acquired the Champs full-art foil promo Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, Timetwister, foil Scalding Tarn, and Judge foil Maze of Ith. There are now 7 cads total worth over $100 each and I am glad I have it protected.

2 Windswept Heath
4 Flagstones of Trokair
2 Eiganjo Castle
11 Plains
4 Swords to Plowshares
2 Winter Orb
4 Aether Vial
1 Batterskull
1 Sword of Feast and Famine
1 Umezawa's Jitte
4 Stoneforge Mystic
4 Mother of Runes
3 Aven Mindcensor
3 Glowrider
4 Serra Avenger
2 Hokori, Dust Drinker
2 Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
2 Aegis of the Gods
3 Phyrexian Revoker
3 Tariff
4 Honor the Fallen
2 Spirit of the Labyrinth
3 Kataki, War's Wage
I don't own any Rishadan Ports or Karakases. I do have Wastelands but they're in another deck. If I like the way this works, I could move them over to it. I thought the goal of the deck is to tie up their mana and tax whatever they could play. Winter Orb and Hokori, Dust Drinker restrict how much mana they have and Thalia and Glowrider make non-creatures cost more. I can cheat creatures it with Aether Vial or untap my lands with Sword of Feast and Famine.
The sideboard is a mess. I was thinking Honor the Fallen against Reanimator, Oops all spells, and Dredge. Tariff against Sneak & Show and Reanimator. Kataki, War's Wage against Affinity. Phyrexian Revoker against Jace or Liliana or anything else. And Spirit of the Labyrinth against blue.
Thanks for reading my brain vomit. Any help is appreciated.
