Welcome to the world of aggression, disruption, and control.
This 75 is really fun thing to play. It's graceful and powerful. This is accomplished by low cmc and voltron/ish tactics.
The troops:You pick, they all have a bestow/ heroic relation. Bestow creatures are seen as enchantments as they target the heroic creatures. But if behind can be casted as low cmc creatures.
The instants:Create the fire. Target the right hero and do work.
Hey, I have not tested against G/R monsters. However, I have play tested vs. gr aggro brew. Played 5 w/o side boarding went 3 out of 5. Played another 5 with side board and went 4/5. Lifebane Zombie with thoughtseize is a beat-down for G/R.
Thunderous wrath is a no non nien in std.
Sooooo my adhoc is im greedy. The deck is greedy and combined this is why it failed.
The meta is combo stream lined decks, and to beat it you need disruptions and low cmc to do it.
I know it's a duh statement but had to be said.
So junk is still a thing because gw is so strong for low cmc creatures. Splashing black adds the disruption one needs.
Furthermore, these black spot removal and hand disruptions are low cmc.
Correct me if I'm wrong, exile takes the ability away to regen? Anger of the gods goes through. Pumps are the only thing that works or bigger guys. Golgari works with SV...
I was watching Friday Night Magic tonight and a card caught my eye: Golgari Charm. -1/-1 to all creatures for the 16 one drop decks and regenerate all of your creatures for the Supreme Verdict decks and Anger of the Gods. Very interesting. Now to see if I can get the mana to work.
Thanks. I will put your knowledge to use. The theory behind Bident sounded good and I'm glad to hear someone is having success with it.
One thing I thought I would pass on to the community was my switch from 4 x Garruk, Caller of Beasts to 2 x Garruk, Caller of Beasts and 2 x Jace, Architect of Thought.
I've really liked it so far. Jace comes down earlier and gives you a little more time against aggro and he's also great in the control matchups. The other thing I've liked about Jace is he doesn't pass by your Cyclonic Rift like Garruk does. Obviously, more testing is required, but early results are encouraging.
Jace is -meh. I've ran him for a week; Garruk is better.
Another issue is sweeps for GU DEVOTION. Had my butt handed to me with a RWB deck, anger of the gods
That's were the deck needs protection; any suggestions?
Bounce Scry-type. I have NOT built nor tested, but thought this would be interesting for discussion.
This deck has a ton of self interactions with the charms and gatecreeper.
Scry to get to what you need then charm into it.
Prophet of Kruphix is so awesome in this deck it scry-ie(see what i did there)
My thoughts on the side.....
I'm thinking it should be more aggro with for pace change

I was just curious but why Azorius Charm. I feel like there are better cards for stalling and card draw. Also I was curious if you found it really beneficial running the extra gates? It makes sense as those are the main colors you want.
Azorius Charm is a wide card and fits my meta. In use it has never let me down. Do I wish it was more powerful, in terms of draw; yes. But it has been just enough gas for my meta. Cards like Read the Bones are just, well, mana hungry and lock up ones interactions because you want to get to that draw source. But in analysis I am playing with sphinx's revelation and card draw is never an issue.
In short, no negatives with the extra land.
I posted my deck a couple of weeks ago, I started tweaking the deck to work better in my local meta, any suggestions would be welcomed (No Sphinx's Rev sadly, the card is to expensive for my range, maybe one day before it rotates out but doubtful)
I have considered a lot about dropping the Into the Wilds for Detention Spheres or something else. People have suggested to me about dropping the Chromatic Lantern but so many times it has came at the right time to fix my mana.
Looking at your deck it's trying to be too many things. Instead be great at one thing. May it be turbo fog, hyper-spot removal, or posing a board threat -- just be awesome at it.
Since SR is not in the picture it makes turbo fog, frankly, meehhh.
I would absolutely look at hyper-spot removal.

Meaning does Spirit of the Labyrinth shut down Pain Seer's inspired trigger?
I said no Spirit does not shut it down because of Seers' wording, so one can still reveal and loose life to CMC and put card into hand.
