very true and valid points, i didn't get the chance to look at other options, but will be making the changes and a few more. i actually didn't do half bad besides some majorly bad plays tonight considering the list i took, i went 2-1-1
I'm thinking of playing fnm for the first time in months tonight, and was wondering if a necra servitude deck could stand a chance, there are plenty of rdw decks and gruul agro decks at the shop i will playing at but i do know there are some control decks, u/w post and esper control off the top of my head
the list i'm toying at is:
I'm stuck between white and red for the prerelease, since you have to keep the "hero vanguard" cards in mind being able to give anything haste for no cost is obviously pretty powerful but the archon is very tempting and i can see the preventing 1 dmg being able to swing games
it seems to be fake, they are using the backdrop for dailymtg but are not linked or use their domain, I believe it is more of a joke making fun of speculation and how much time people put in to it
I love them all, zombie will find a home in standard or modern, human will be very fun in standard and the blue enchantment comes down the turn after Aboshan, Cephalid emperor in my cephalid stax edh deck very successful night to me
may I recommend Seizan, perverter of truth and memory jar it was deck I was going to build a while back before i switched my g/b deck to Nath, I forget if possessed portal in a nonbo with the draw=dmg effects like seizan but can be a good way to close out the game and havoc festival works well with ending the game quickly after you get to a safe point
I completely understand, i was mainly compelled more so of the fact of being able to run a copy of haakon, stronghold scourge in being able to rebuild if a boardwipe hits at an inopportune moment, and being able to drop in a disciple of bolas in response to targeted removal.
though might have been the best though out not paying atention to color restrictive costs for a fast creature based deck
I have to say I tend to play slower decks so all out approaches don't always click right away for me
hello experienced knight players!
I've been coming back to this primer here and there for a while now being very tempted to build one version of knights or another, and with an all of a sudden easier access to cards for modern then I've had in the past I was toying with the idea of building a G// version of knights adding in a few non-knight utility creatures in the form of deathrite shaman, disciple of bolas, and potentially bob if I could afford them ^_^'
not to mention the conjunction of G and B gives access to both abrupt decay and maelstrom pulse
voted for waste not, for the simple reason as others said as it fits the full card not just that you can get a zombie token, while I'd like to see the art of season of the lich on another card because it sounds really awesome it just doesn't feel right for this one
probably the best place for it is in a mishra prodigy artificer deck, it makes all of your artifacts uncounterable and all of your opponents stuff cost 3 more
