The real risk is that stores will sell out of 1-2 decks and be left with stockpiles of another deck or 2
This actually is the biggest problem with product like this and continues to be so with alot of WoTC product from Intro Packs to Commander Decks. Luckily we no longer have to deal with it for Event Decks. Hopefully the rest still sell decently enough that stores aren't left with 10+ copies of 2-3 of the decks making re-ordering the sold out ones unreasonable. I Own a store down in the San Marcos area of California and am selling the decks at MSRP, but not sure what to do about the above problem except for simply not restocking the best selling decks on the shelf until the slower moving decks move.
It's amazing how much just stores are becoming the villains when stuff goes above MSRP, despite the fact that any sealed product that comes out and ends up going for more then MSRP will get bought out by scalpers to ebay if the stores leave the prices the same, making sure people who actually want the product not able to get it.
Dimir has the worst guild leader, the worst champion, and has gotten almost no constructed worthy cards. It was also basically unplayable in Gatecrash Limited-it was the worst guild by far. If there isn't some insane Dimir removal spell in DGM I'm going to be very upset with Wizards.
Dimir is unplayable in GTC Limited? Are you out of your mind? Try knowing what you're taking about before spouting off absolute BS.
I need 2 Thalia, 2 Clifftop Retreat, 2 Ash Zealot and all of the commons and uncommons, at least $62 worth of cards I should be able to get for $50 because that's the price and it should be enforced, this product is meant to be played not scalped and resold and those practices are disgusting.
I don't need the 2 Silverblade and the 2 Champion of the Parish which could easily be trade fodder for the 1 Reckoner and the 1 Foundry I'm missing and finally be able to play standard. But it seems *******s like you and the people scalping the product think wizards is wrong for trying to make the game more accessible for people who want to play it and the only people who should be allowed to play are idiots who think paying for SCG's overblown prices is something to be proud of.
Small gaming stores have to fight to make a profit and stay open nowadays as it is, why should they just throw away money? If a store sells the Boros Event deck @ the MSRP what's stopping a customer from coming in and buying -all- of them then turning around and making a profit on ebay? If the MSRP was enforced by wizards you'd just start seeing stores crack open the product and sell the singles (because they make even more money that way).
It's simple Supply & Demand, same reason Commander's Arsenal/From the Vaults never go for MSRP. A store is losing money by selling them for lower then what they go for.
(Before people start lecturing me about how they aren't -actually- losing money, you need to realize any potential $$ not made on a product sold is in fact money lost.)
My opponent has Capture of Jingzhou, fork, and wild ricochet coming off of suspend at the same time. He chooses to copy Capture with both other spells. I then Force of will the Capture. All 3 spells are countered correct?

Magma Spray is only in the sideboard for RDW (Ball Lightning, Dragonlord, Hellspark, Goblin Guide, etc.) Even though it can kill x/1s in green decks, I wouldnt side it against Mythic or Naya since your other cards are much better; Im mostly talking about the 4th Terminate and 3 Consuming Vapors.
Jund is tough, no way around it. The plus is that it is ALWAYS a close game so I think if you make the absolute correct play everytime, you'll have a good chance at winning. Just remember that Sedraxis LOLs at Blightning and you have SPREADING SEAS!!!
On a side note, I'm currently playing in another Premiere Event with the exact same list and am 6-0 in games against Polymorph, Brilliant Ultimatum, and UWr planeswalkers
have you thought at all about possibly playing Emrakul's Hatcher over Siege-Gang? Seems like the extra mana alot of time could be more useful then the ability to chuck goblins.
Was just wondering if anyone else had tested Stoneforge mystic at all? It's amazing utility and with Wild Pair on the table Rofellos goes and gets Umbral Mantle pretty much and vice versa.
I'm making a couple proxies for my EDH deck ATM with a Zelda theme so far I have
Captain Sissay-Princess Zelda(Tetra)
Rofellos-Link
Loyal Retainers-Midna
Academy Rector-OOT Sage of Light
Sword of Fire and Ice - Master Sword
What I have left is mana crypt, any ideas on what it could be proxied as?

You need card tags in future posts. Read the Forum Guidelines. -Carsten
