Hi. I am a relatively serious Magic player, semi serious judge, and hardcore card collector from Buffalo, New York. I recently started doing a MTG podcast at the beginning of the summer and it has really taken off in terms of popularity and I would like to grow it. I really feel that the content is amazing. We talk about Magic news and include a lot of comedy in it, and truth be told I wouldn't stop doing it if I was the only one listening to it.
So if you have any comments or suggestions on things to do to improve the number of listeners or the content, I am all ears.
Here are the links if you want to check it out. We just recorded live at a 96 person FNM this past week, and did feature matches, deck techs, and things like that.
Hello all. I am very interested in getting into Vintage. I am in this awkward position where I have picked up some power and other "power level" cards, and am looking to figure out what I should be playing so I can work on picking up the appropriate cards. Here is what I have to work with:
Pearl
Emerald
Jet
Ruby
Timetwister
2 Bazaar
Workshop
3 Mana Drain
I am not looking for a "budget deck" and would be able to borrow/trade for any other cards I need. The problem is that nobody in the area plays vintage, so I am practically on an island. Here are the decks that I prefer to play (to give you an idea of what I am used to)
Modern- Storm, Jund
Legacy- Sneak and Show, Lands
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated, since I would love to get involved in Vintage.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out how I should sort of non-standard binder. Initially I had a section for modern+EDH and a section for Legacy, but it seems like there is a lot of overlap between modern and Legacy. Also there are casual cards worth a decent amount of money that also need to be in there. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am having an issue with my binders right now. I have 1 for standard, and am not sure how I should present the rest of my cards. Should I separate Modern, EDH, Legacy, and Casual cards, or should I sort them by set, or color, or have different binders for each?
