Isn't that just the invisible hand doing its magical work?
Where's that vaunted capitalist incentive to be competitive if you can get a bailout at any time that your predatory, unsustainable lending habits land you in the red?
Even if you are as staunch a capitalist as this makes you out to be, this is at least a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't situation.
This card, like every other Esper creature, can be killed a thousand different ways. Viridian Shaman it, Shock it, Naturalize it, Hell, Shriekmaw it if you have to. The world is not going to collapse if this card is printed, especially not if every artifact played cheaper because of this guy gets sucked up in a Fracturing Gust.
Quite frankly, I'm more afraid of Naya's beasts and its cat warriors. Thank God for Deathmark.
Just because it can be killed doesn't mean it isn't broken.
Seriously, all creatures can be killed, but there are still some that are too good.
Lets say you were offered a change to live forever, combo package with Eternal Youth. Gabriel told you that God choose you to live forever, or a scientist had unlocked the secret to eternal life, whichever fits into your paradigm.
So barring disease, or getting hit by a mack truck (or anything that would normally kill a human) you would live until the end of time.
Would you accept it, and what do you think you would like in the year 3007?
Most definitely, although I would prefer to age if I wanted to (as in with my wife(s)).
But think of the things you could learn and experience and do with this. It's mindboggling. Sure, people will say they would turn it down in this thread, but if it really happened, I can't imagine anyone turning it down.
In 3007, I will like visiting other planets and learning about alien cultures.
why. just write a primer or something suggesting new players use the colors. this rule change thing is completely stupid and hurts creativity and possible interactions. sealed deck is fine.
Well, I could see this coming, to tell you the truth. Gleemax seemed like a bit of a stretch for Wizards IMO. Does Gleemax have even that big of a community?

please tell me you're trolling
@asfas: Yeah Etherium Sculptor is good here. Soul Fire too, but I expect the Sculptor to be a house.

But if you get caught against an aggro deck with even a moderate board then you are in trouble.

That subprime mortgage scam sure was a bad idea.
Artist Strikes Fish
It's in new card discussion for a reason
But yeah, this set really reminds me of the olden days of Legends and whatnot moreso than Invasion.
I wasn't around then so I am especially pumped.

Really, I can't state the truth any better than this.

And yes I know that that is not the point, btw.
