First real attempt at an "extension." I have no claim to any artistic talent so Sharpies is the best I can do. I also have no decent camera, so my cell phone camera is what I have to use.
Is it just me or am I not the only one that doesn't get the sharpie covers?
It's for those of us less artistically talented. Right now they're not too skill intensive but as I get better I'll be extending art over the borders, into the text box, etc. It also eliminates the issue of color matching.
Now that I think about it, I may try multiple colors of sharpie and fully extend a piece.
First thing I want to make clear: these are not my work. These are by Xailiar of the WOTC forums.
Sorry they're off to one side. Didn't know how to correct that on my scanner. Also, the vertical bars that appear on all the cards is a product of the scanner.
I just read through the first and last 30 or so pages on this thread and I want to try my hand at altering. I've only done artwork in black and white - pencil on regular paper so I need some advice/info.
I've noticed some people say they use sharpies. Like, conventional sharpies? A set of which I can pick up at my local CVS? Also, if I try colored pencil, I'd need to take the borders off. Whats the easiest/best way to do this?
Play X side games of Magic where each game pertains to a card in your hand. Each game you win, the card gets to stay in your hand. Repeat the cycle till you lose the only remaining game.
If you always win, do something with your remaining lifetotals.
Early Frost - 3 layers [REALLY wish I had more]
Banishing Knack - 6 or 7 layers.
EDIT: I use a regular Elmers glue stick then an X-Acto blade to take off excess glue that gets pressed out.

Only 4 layers.

Also, if anyone is interested, I'd like to comission someone to do a full art Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet.

If you always end with 20, roll a die, etc.
This.
I'd love to have the beachball of death on foil cards.
