I've noticed that many of the storyline pages have many errors, mainly to do with the English. This, however, is a concern as it indicates a lack of thoroughness and care when editing; therefore, I propose that there be some committee of some sort, or "wiki project" that focusses on the Magic storyline.
Currently, I'm reading over the Otarian storyline, and I note that many of the pages are lacking in any sense of formatting or 'wikification'. There are a dearth of headers, and sheesh, to read one seems like a chore as all there is, is a slab of text.
So, this is, in a way, a call to anyone and everyone who will volunteer for this. Or, a notice, at its noticed worst.
I'm afraid I'm not much on storyline. I skip to just playing the game. I hit the "random article" link a lot and bump into storyline articles where I can fix grammar and spelling.

I would be willing to help edit grammar and spelling. However, I do not know much about story lines to catch any storyline mistakes. Also I am Canadian so some of my spelling would not match American spelling.
If this is not a problem message me, and we shall see if we can work out a time. I am busy currently with college, so this will likely be during the summer.

I grew up with the Queen in my money, so therefore, my English is as 'improper' and 'un-American' as yours. On a serious note, though, I'm equally skilled at using any good and decent dialect of English, be it Oxford English, American English, or British English.
As for who shall lead this, I certainly will not, on account of two reasons:
No. 1: Priorities (time, effort). Personally, if this or anything will interfere with whatever it is that's most important to you, or more important to you, such as (I presume, and hopefully, rightly so) study, then I reinforce that there is no impetus or pressure for you to do anything. =) I myself have school, after which I'll have work, training, and Royal College exams.
No. 2: Leadership. There is no true leadership to the wiki. At most, there are system operators who perform minor actions in maintaining the wiki.
Ah yes studies my finals are coming closer; however, I will likely have spare time in the summer.
Perhaps I should restate leadership? I meant it to be more of an organizer. Some one to break up sections and keep track of what has already been edited.

Pseudo-legal disclaimer: If this in no way makes MTGS or anyone liable for any greviances, sure!(/? :s)

Mmm... project leaders are as close as it gets, I s'pose.
When I was still active, I was slowly inputting all the information from an old prerevisionist database that Zazdor gave me, with basically everything from all the old comics. I got 60% through it, or thereabouts, before burning out; would someone be interested in finishing the job? I'm sure I could dig the document back up if need be.
sent the document to Oracle of Truth. The glossary is basically anything that happened in the old comics, lots of insight. Also lots of really minor details, but hey, someone might care about Root Spiders.
There might be a bit. PM me an email address, I'll send the document to ya, or contact Oracle of Truth and coordinate with him to make sure all the info gets up there.
Another concern I noticed, stumbling through the wiki a while back--there seems to be some information ported directly from Phyrexia.com there. The problem is, Phyrexia.com was kinda crap for fact-checking at best, and contained incorrect or downright made-up info from time to time. I posted a comment on the article I found, but otherwise just be careful with anything mentioned only on Phyrexia.
If anybody is paying attention to this thread, I've done some custom work on the timeline page. I've included Ravnica, Lorwyn, and Alara in the main section. When the timeline of these events is not accompanied by a estimation date from the cannon, I have listed the events in question as the typical "???".
Specifically:
1 - In the section "The Time of the Dragons," I have added "???" dates for the formation of the original Guildpact, Oona's manipulations of the timeline of Lorwyn, and the Sundering of Alara.
2 - In the section before "The Mending," I have added a very short blurb about the destruction of the Guildpact. This is just a blurb, and could use flushing out from someone who remembers that storyline better than I.
3 - I've renamed "The Events of Time Spiral" to "The Mending" to stay more in-universe.
4 - After "The Mending," I've included a new section labeled "Post-Mending."
5 - In the "Post-Mending" section I've included shorts blurbs for the events of the Lorwyn Cycle, Agents of Artifice, The Purifying Fire, and Alara Unbroken, as well as the most-recently webcomic "Curse of the Veil".
Feedback, discussion, and seething hatred are all appreciated.

Apologies on the untimely follow-up on this but I have created MTG Salvation Wiki:Project Storyline for discussion on this there. There's so much that could be done on this most enthralling element of Magic. I'll do what I can for the project, even if that means catching up on so much lore and buying or borrowing those books!
If anyone's still interested in this or has anything to say on this, this thread, or storyline, post!
Is anyone else of the opinion that storyline characters can better be (sub)categorized according to their race/class? The category "storyline character" is too large.
I am overhauling the system and, for things such as categories, taxonomy, that we had inherited from the sysops before me. While it worked, it's not a very good system. While this is taking place, categories are being renamed to more specific things. (For example, Category:Characters is now Category:Magic storyline characters; Category:Storylines is now Category:Magic storylines; Category:[Type] (e.g., Elemental) is now a category.)
Pages will be renamed soon. Such pages expected to be affected include those that use "book" rather than novel.
Any and all additional help is appreciated; but, it's not as though it cannot be handled without further assistance. (That notwithstanding, if you have source material for storylines, you could mail that to me. I seem to have lost my Odyssey/Onslaught/Mirrodin/Ravnica block stuff. :()
Cheers,
MM

I think you've done good, and I apologize for my extremely belated reply. The edits are most definitely appreciated and substantial.

Well, I think references would be appropriate for the events whose dates can be established.
