Ok Battle of the colours! part 3 The Great and powerful Blue VS the great and powerful BLACK who's cards will rain greatest! The master of card draw vs the master of card selection!
The Rules
All creatures/walkers start off in play, Each Colour has enough mana to cast ALL spells that colour has and each only has 1 ONE copy. I am going to clarify something if a card would be directly a determent to itself the colour MAY opt to NOT start with it on the field.
How you can Vote, I am changing the voting alittle, due to what I think is rather raw luck I am taking the luck factor out a bit, You can vote by pull for 1 point and by POST which will give you 2 points, Yes well thought you posts are worth more to me than clicking a button.
TO have your vote count, you must word it like this
" I vote for (insert Colour here) "
any other format no matter how strong your argument is will not be counted.
I know blue has counter and extra turns, but black has extra turns as well. Blue needs to be splashed to have the deck function well or issues arrive from toolbox decks like jund. Discard is also a serious issue for control as they have to counter the discard or loss their answers anyway. Black can also draw just a good as blue with certain cards. Blue also has issues with life gain if mill is not in their options for a win condition.
Gee, bounce everything Black has, Use Jace, the Mind Sculptor and a bunch of extra turns, and lock out the opponent?
Mono U laughs heartily at Mono B...
Hence why Mono U EDH decks are BETTER than Mono B EDH decks... Blue can simply outclass EVERY card black has, and black only has ONE extra turn spell, whereas blue has MANY...

Yup, and Blue has Teferi to ensure Black can only do Sorcery Speed spells as well. Plus Blue has Leyline of Anticipation so It can flash things in at instant speed.

Black has Leyline of the Void, blue can't get back any of it's spells. And blue draw itself to death while black force blue to discard, lose life, get it's life sucked, sacrifice stuff, and many more niceties from the realm of the underworld. Black also has Abyssal Persecutor, many tutors and enough stuff to make blue say ''I give'' or ''Uncle''.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
Black really can't win since Tefferi, Mage of Zhafir exists making it so black can't do anything during it's turn. Beginning of Blacks turn Time Stop. Then respond to anything they respond with with Trickbind or Wipe Away.
During Blue's turn they overload Cyclonic Rift and swing game.
I was wrong about my previous assertion that artifacts had a chance versus blue btw.
your forgetting: Upkeep, Time Stop. you cannot respond, Teferi. during Blues turn, Overload Rift, Time Stretch, Time Warp, steal all of Blacks lands with Memnarch, so black has nothing, swing for game.
if Blue goes first, then its even simpler: remove Time Stop from the equation, do everything else.
also, just in case Black can cast either of the split second cards, Willbender and Voidmage Apprentice. morph em.
Black's only chance is to do an instant speed sac outlet ala Phyrexian Alter w/ Gravecrawler, but even then, Blue can respond to casting the Crawler w/ Time Stop.
I can only really see one color beating Blue, and that is White. why? two words: Grand Abolisher. and even then, if Blue goes first, blue wins.
Black responds to everything Blue does by sacrificing everything to one of its billion sac outlets and getting Blood Artist triggers to win the game. Teferi doesn't stop this. You can only Stifle once
I vote for Black.

Wipe Away exists. Time Stop exists. Mass bounce exists. Teferi and Arcane Laboratory really screw black hard. Blue will clearly win all of these. It is nwo and has always been the best color in the game.

My post is only 7 above yours and it treats EXACTLY this situation and explains how blue still wins against it.
sorry.

I vote for Blue.
the only thing I can see black doing is to sacrifice lots of creatures to any sac outlet to make Blood Artist do his job...
then, when blue gets the priority, he'll play Wipe Away targeting Blood Artist and proceed with Time Stop.
end of story.

Blue wins.
There are so many ways black empties the hand of blue before turn 1 begin. With all the black permanents on the field, blue stand no chance at all.
Question to the creator fo this contest, does the enter the field effects activate for each creatures?

things I hate:
1. lists.
b. inconsistencies.
V. incorrect math.
2. quotes in signatures
III: irony.

I vote for Black.
