I don't mean dumping waist I was refering to what he did in the catoon, take an entire waist dump and throw it in to space. as a compairson act of strenth and momentum Doomsday to the best of my knowelge can't fly..... so he would be unable to return to the combat area leaving a passifed hulk and a victoryous BYPC.

Except one of the rules in the tournament is that none of the characters may escape the arena in any way, and the atmosphere is about as high as they can go. Ring outs are not an option.
I participate yearly in a survival challenge in which I am dropped off in the wilderness with 1 days rations, a knife, and no other supplies, and have to find my way home. This is typically several weeks hiking from civilization.
I have personally killed several bears in the course of this challenge, with the use of snares and other traps.
incapacitating however is, and being indefinitly pinned at the eddge of the ring unable to fight would likely count as a passifistic victory. ALl CP /Aang needs to do is keep the gale force winds on.
How does Doomsday travel from planet to planet again? Like, why didn't Superman just throw him at the Sun and leave him there? Even if he can survive the heat, it's not like he'd be able to jump out of the Sun's gravitational pull, right?
Because Superman is often portrayed as a tactical moron? He depends so much on how powers that he often neglects simple solutions, Now I am not saying he IS a mornon, I am aware he is quite bright in many incarnations, HOWEVER his actions do speak louder than words. So many crimes/problems would be cured if he you know USED his powers to the full effect in the beggining or played smart, I will also point out that is basicly HOW they delt with doomsday in The Death of Superman
They strapped him on a rocket and launched him in to space....
While CP is not the sharpest tool in the shed... Aang's wisdom should be worth something in this match, no?
Still two days left to vote. I'm also still deciding if we're going to have further bonus matches. I have a few ideas lined up, but I also think that now that the tourney is concluded, we should probably give it a break. Comments welcome.

Ummm... Huh ... I agree that its certainly possible for the Adult Avatar to be able to find a way to take Hulk out of the equasion, the problem inevitably is that as mentioned, captain planet and doomsday are basically evenly matched, they could keep fighting until the end of time practically, especially if cap takes the fight into the lava and can be continuously healed. I'm .... going to call this a draw. Unstoppable force vs immovable object sort of stuff.
Too late to vote, perhaps, but with the "throw Doomsday into the Sun" option being ruled against, I think Team Smash will ultimately win. It might take years, but this fight is going to affect more than a single lava-filled volcano. Once Captain Planet sees the devastation their fight is causing, and seeing no way to actually end the battle in his favour, I think he'll concede in the hopes that Doomsday will just leave.
The counter argument to that is that since CP knows all info on doomsday he KNOWS doomsday will not leave, as such indefinitly combat with the focus on HIM is preferable to devistation of doomsday on the planet itself.
I think it's safe to say the TOU clean-sweeped the entire set of bonus matches. Funny how these tournaments work.
With my upcoming military service, I've been busy these past few weeks with logistical matters, gathering documents, and otherwise getting fit, so apologies for not updating you all. Come december, I will no longer be a frequent poster on MTGS (but I'll try), but it was a fun little run with you all while the TOC/TOU lasted.
That said, thank you all for participating, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

The Death of Superman
They strapped him on a rocket and launched him in to space....
In the cartoon, they trapped him in the Phantom Zone, and in Superman: Doomsday, Supes outright killed him, by himself.
I think they avoid the obvious solutions because if they didn't, the story would be lame. Case in point, the plot of the new Superman movie could have been resolved a lot sooner than it should have if Superman had just thought a little more clearly.
