The members of both teams are transported to a different dimension with all information about their opponents “uploaded” into their minds. They have 30 minutes to prepare and talk to each other (they don’t know anything about each other as teammates, save for any experience from previous matches of this same tournament), and will also have full access to any technology, magic, weaponry, resources, etc. which they would routinely be able to use from their respective universes. Teammates may share resources with each other. Afterwards, both teams are teleported to the randomly chosen plane, which has mystically sealed off so that none of them can escape the battlefield in any way. The team that manages to knock out and/or kill both members of the opposing team will be declared the winner. There is no time limit.
Write ups for both teams:
Team "Smash" - Doomsday and Hulk
Nearly unstoppable forces of incredible power, Doomsday is famous for being the being that could kill Superman. The Hulk is, likewise, capable of extreme power and nearly limitless rage. Combined physical might will make them a challenge for any opponent as they can smash their way to victory.
Team "Disney Villains" - Sorcerer Jafar and Maleficent
Two of the most well-known of the Disney Villains, this is Jafar after the Genie granted him his second wish, to become the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Maleficent, on the other hand, is the mistress of all evil. Together, the two of them have attempted to ruin the resolution of many a fairy tale, and will stop at nothing to make sure the others don't get their happy endings.
How do I vote for the team I like? Well, I'm glad you asked...
This tournament uses a “Dual-Voting System” in which every user on MTGS may vote twice, once on the poll of the thread, and once by posting on the thread itself (by explicitly stating “I vote for team *insert name* because *insert reason*” in a post on the thread). You may spread these votes as you wish (you can vote anonymously on the poll for one team, but express your vote publicly through a post for another), or use them both to vote for the same team, or only vote once (using either method). In the end, the total of both "poll" and "post" votes will be used to determine a winner. In the event of a tie between total votes, the team with the most votes posted publicly on the thread itself shall be declared the winner, and move on to the next round. You only have one week to vote (two weeks for the semi-finals and finals), and the poll automatically closes on Sunday, 12MN (GMT +1). Only posts that occur before that time will be counted as valid votes.

I participate yearly in a survival challenge in which I am dropped off in the wilderness with 1 days rations, a knife, and no other supplies, and have to find my way home. This is typically several weeks hiking from civilization.
I have personally killed several bears in the course of this challenge, with the use of snares and other traps.
Indeed, this is a classic physical versus magical bout, but even then, the raw power of Doomsday and Hulk might still overwhelm our two villains. The terrain proves more advantageous for the two beasts in terms of granting them the ability to fight on with even more ferocity and stamina, but at the same time affords Maleficent plenty of undead to manipulate, if necromancy is her thing... and then again I can see that the flat open terrain isn't going to give our two magic users many places to hide or evade. This could end up in close quarters relatively quickly.
I must say that I am amused with the mental image of Jafar being given the Loki treatment by Hulk.

I think the terrain favors Smash. They have more stamina than the Villains, and I feel like they would just wear them down. Doomsday's hide can withstand nuclear explosions - do you really think some weak-ass darkness spell is gonna take him out? And a Vigilant Hulk would, simply put, smash.

Pretty close match. I think it’s interesting. How will DV hurt SM? Is there a spell in their arsenal that can do it? How will SM hit DV? Will they even be able to reach them?
Since SM is leading, I’d like to point out that draftguy2 has a really good point. Maleficent’s whole plot was about a sleeping spell that was potent enough to last hundreds of years (granted, it was a killing spell that got screwed over by one of the fairies, but still). Will SM be able to wake up from that? Can Hulk’s kiss wake up Doomsday? Okay, wrong mental image there…
In addition (since SM is leading), how about Gavony... doesn't it have graves upon graves fit for necromancy? Not that a couple of hundred undead mooks will slow down the two much, but it's just an idea I'd like to throw out there.

Big black dragons are scary... unless you're used to taking on Superman.
How is Smash's resistance to mind control? Jafar as a minor sorcerer could do it on the weak willed at least. At his far far greater power level, I imagine he could try that trick here.
Which one of the Hulks minds do you want to control again.
In one of the earlier battles in this tournament it has been brought up that Prof X has issues controling the hulk, not to sure what Jafar is going to be able to do.

Hmm, fair enough. I suspected they had some sort of resistance, but missed that in the previous thread.
... I'm having a really hard time imagining exactly what the Villains could possibly do to stop these guys. Sleep spells were mentioned, but somehow I don't see that working.
The Disney villains are powerful mages for sure but as far as I know they aren't reality warping level and that's what it would take to beat Doomsday and Hulk. Mind control on Hulk has already been mentioned, but it's also not likely to work on Doomsday as he's basically mindless aggression. There's not really anything there to control. Also, during the whole death of Superman storyline, a telepath (I don't know who, an alien dude with a big head) tried to reach into Doomsday's mind during the big fight and was promptly and painfully forced out.

With less than three days to go before the match closes, this one is going to be tight.

Also, BYPC and JFA are duking it out in a relatively ignored match somewhere else on the forum (Remember that your votes count! I honestly think that this could go either way, but I'm putting my vote behind Team Smash.
They're resistance to mind control, durability, and stamina would allow them to win in the long game which is what this will end up being. A long, LONG, fight of not being able to hurt each other until someone runs out of steam, which I feel would be maleficent before hulk or doomsday.
