Seviper, the fang snake pokemon. Using its bladed tail to counter any Zangoose in battle, it also secretes a deadly toxin. A poison-type pokemon.
Relicanth connects with its tackle, freeing the little Oddish from the grasp of the snake. Oddish immediately ran behind Jerrin's legs again and took shelter from the battle, it's little leaves shaking like they were in a strong wind. Seviper, however, didn't take kindly to its snack being taken away, as it countered Relicanth with an attempted lick to the face.
"Oh, a Seviper," Jerrin says to himself, "I've heard of you. Mudslap Relicanth!"
The fish pokemon shudders involuntarily as it is liked by Seviper, then flops itself away into the air. As it lands, Relicanth whips its tail across the ground, tossing fresh mud at the snake.

The mud landed directly on Seviper's face, causing it to cry out as it lost vision temporarily. It seemed to focus on scraping the mud from its face, and lost its concentration for a moment.
Serph turned onto Route 2 from Route 1. This trek didn't seem as though it'd be anywhere near as easy as the previous one.
"Hmm. I hope I don't regret heading down this path," Serph states after spending about ten minutes on the path. "I do hope there are some interesting Pokemon out this way."

@ k4z00p4: A small, turnip-shaped creature with tall, green fronds sprouting from the top of its head was parked in the shade of a large tree at the side of the route.
"Hmm..." Serph says as he tries to make out the tiny little critter. He shuffles around in his bag and manages to find the pokedex with some ease. After listening to (assuming Oddish's) description he gets out Rattata's pokeball.
"Alright, let's go Rattata." The injured pokemon exits it's ball with some reluctance. Serph walks up to it and sprays a potion to heal it's injuries. Rattata perks up.
"Ready to go Rattata? Get in there and surprise it!" Rattata quickly builds up speed and slams the resting pokemon into the tree. Before it could even recover Rattata had already turned around and was barreling towards it again.
OOC: Quick attack. Also I assume this works like the game where the pokemon are still injured after capture.

@ k4z00p4: OOC: Well, kind of. They do tend to heal up a little bit with rest (like the show), but some damage is assumed unless you visit a pokemon center.
Oddish, the weed pokemon. It roams around at night, awakened by the moonlight. During the day, it stays quietly underground . . . usually. A grass-poison type pokemon.
Rattata's attack hit Oddish and knocked it about, but the little weedy creature countered with an aromatic fragrance Serph had never smelled before. (Sweet scent)
Rattata seemed slightly distracted by the sweet aroma, but continued on course to slam into Oddish. Rattata ducked behind the other side of the tree waiting for it's next command.
"Nice job Rattata. Wait until you see Oddish for the next attack."

OOG: Ok, so I am officially Commandeering this thread.
@K4z00p4: Startled by the fast nature of Rattata, the Oddish realized it had to somehow outlast it's opponent. As the Rattata charged at the little green pokemon, a small light glowed within the Oddish's stalk, which seemed to reach toward the charging Rattata.

Rattata cringed as it's energy was drained, but barreled through to crash into oddish again. This time he managed to send the poor little root creature up in the air. Rattata used this time to catch it's breath since he's been non-stop quick attacking since let out of his ball.

Trish, checking her map, noted the small town of Osiers to the east. She caught a whiff of the fetid marshland, wrinkled her nose, and began to run.
Splat. One of her feet sunk into a patch of moss.
"Ick. That's not good. Come on back, Houndour," she said, recalling the Fire Pokemon to its warm, dry Ball.
Yanking her foot out of the hole, ignoring the mud covering her shoe for the time being, Trish began to carefully pick her way down the driest part of the path.
@Jenesis: As Trish followed the path, trying not to step in the less dry potions of it, she notices something moving in a patch of mossy marshland surrounded by weeds.

Croagunk, the Toxic Mouth Pokémon. Croagunk has poison in its cheeks and can spray poison from its fingertips. It also makes noise by expanding its poison sac.
After it reads, Trish sees a pair of frog-like eyes looking at her.
