"Good luck to you," the Nurse said, as she turned to the next person waiting at the desk. A Blissey was catering to some well-dressed people as Atticus walked by, and out the door. (You're free to change threads, BTW )
Both Lime and mankey both sprinted downhill towards the pokemon center. At the last second, mankey passed Lime and won the race.
"Aww, thats another one you won," Lime congratulated mankey,"I need to start training in speed."
The plexiglass doors to the pokemon center hissed and then parted, revealing the fancily designed pokemon center. It was much nicer than ones that he had previously seen in johto. Despite the Upper Class design, trainers of all walks of life could be seen in the pokemon hospital: From bug catchers to gentlemen, bikers to scientists.
Lime looked around the Pokecenter and noticed a plaque on the wall that said "Communication center" that pointed to a flight of stairs. Lime put mankey back in the ball and walked up the stairs.
At the top of the steps he saw signs pointing to areas that had vending machines and entertainment centers. He thought that this would be a good way to wait for the pokemon nurses to heal your pokemon. He then saw the sign pointing towards the payphones. After a long walk down the hall, which Lime thought lasted forever, he got to a room with several payphones with cameras installed. He walked up to one and followed the instructions on the screen to call his house.
After a few rings, his mom picked up, "Hey honey, It's Lime! Come say hello."
"It seems like forever since I left, but its only been a little bit ago since i left," Lime said, feeling a bit homesick.
Lime's dad appeared on the screen, "Hey sport, have you caught any pokemon yet?"
Lime Replied, "No not yet, But i did talk to the local pokeproffessor and got a pokedex." Lime flashed the newly aquired pokedex on the screen.
"Ah thats the new prototype, its not supposed to come out for 3 months. You are really lucky," His dad said, half-jealous and half-proud of his son.
"Aww, I wanna become a pokemon trainer. Just one more year and I WILL beat you brother," Lime's Competitive little sister said enviously.
They talked for a little bit longer and then his parents let him go to catch some pokemon. Upon attempting to leave the building, Lime got lost twice before reaching the stairs. Walking into one of the rooms, Lime stepped on a blue tile, teleporting him to just in front of the stairs. He then walked down and out of the building.
The people that play legacy / vintage always amuse me. They want their formats to be represented more. They want more tournaments. But when anyone suggests allowing more people access to the formats by reprinting cards, the same people start screaming about the reprint policy.
Ashton stepped into the Pokemon Center, his Murkrow perched on his shoulder. A recent arrival to Livian and the region itself, he was unsure of his surroundings and knew the best place to go to first was the Center. He made is way over to a shelf of brochures, where he began flipping through some guides to the city and mentally noting some places to check out.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a nurse. "Excuse me, miss; I am new here in the city, and I was wondering if you had any advice to share with a tourist." His eyes twinkled a bit.

"Oh, yes. There's so many wonderful sites to see here in Risin. There's Piper Town and the lava flats, Concave Cliffs has a large Mushroom Wall, as well as the region's Pokeon Graveyard. Icepan Island has a cave system carved entirely, and naturally, from ice glaciers. Even Faerie Forest is something to see, with trees surpassing ten feet in diameter." The Nurse said as she came over to speak with Ashton. "Locally, there isn't much besides the Osiers Swamp, and I heard a rumour about a sustainable energy platform that might be set up in the waters near Livian here."

"Absolutely, one moment please." The nurse took Trapinch's pokeball, and placed it inside a machine that whirred for about a minute, then stopped and beeped. She removed the ball and returned it to Akemi "There you are, was there anything else?" she said with he trademark smile.

"Why, of course. One moment please," the Nurse said as she accpeted the pokeballs and took care of them. A couple minutes later, she returned and handed Lime back his companions. "There you are, all set. Was there anything else?"

Ashton gave a quick glance to his Murkrow, an awkward smile across his face. "Well, I think we're done here. Thank you."
He had all the information he needed.

Lime then reached into his Gi and handed his pokeballs to the nurse.
