Exiting to the west of Asters town is Faerie Forest. Many kinds of insects can be found here, and it's a favoured place for Bug Catchers to be found. It's a heavily forested area, with incredibly large trees. Some trunks are larger than 10 feet across!

Walking into Faerie Forest, Atticus realized he had never seen so many trees in one place. Some of the trees were incredibly large, and the entire area seemed to hum with life. Beckoning Sneasel to follow, Atticus started into the forest.
As Atticus started into the Faerie Forest, he and Sneasel were greeted by a very ferret-like creature with a ringed tail jumping around from tree to tree in front of them.
Sentret, the scout pokemon. Having a very nervous nature, it can stand on its tail and scan wide areas with ease. A normal-type pokemon.
Psyduck's attack knocked Sentret around a bit, disorienting it slightly. It reflexively curled around itself in a defensive manner, trying to protect itself from harm until it could figure out what to do.
"That rounded shape should make it a perfect target for another water gun! Try and knock it down to the ground again!"
"Psyyyyduck!" Sucking up some of the water produced when the Puddle Ball released it, Psyduck aimed again at the Sentret and fired another blast of water.
Before Psyduck's water stream had crossed to the Sentret, it had dodged around it and was charging in with a quick attack to try and knock Psyduck off its feet.
The fight appeared to be going in a more close-combat direction, as Sentret had also charged in looking to scratch Psyduck with its claws. The two had become a writhing mass of fur and feathers, with each of them crying out as the other managed to land blows of varying strength.
(Took a couple assumptions here, just for story purposes)
OOC: That's fine. I imagine my Psyduck as being more of a scrapper than most.
Before Atticus could give his Psyduck any more commands, the yellow duck emerged from the mass that had been it and its foe and backed a safe distance away, as if waiting for the Sentret to come to it.
Atticus noticed the small duck turn and nod its head in his direction, almost as if telling him it had the situation handled.
"Yeesh. Seems like I'm getting all of the ones that have their own ideas about battling. I'd love to actually be able to give a command one of these days."
Psyduck took a few good licks from the Sentret before figuring out a plan. It was standing in the puddle produced from when it was released from its ball. As the wild Sentret stepped into the pool in the process of another one of its quick attacks, Psyduck used the small splash noise it created to locate which direction it was coming from and swiped in that direction with another Scratch.
OOC: I'm assuming that the Sentret is on the ground when launching this round of quick attacks, and not launching through the air.
Sentret ran straight into Psyduck's claws, and was knocked around yet again. It was starting to fall behind the race, as it struggled to get to its feet. It took some effort, but it regained itself, and appeared to focus on its target for a moment before charging in with its claws again. (foresight into a scratch)
"Psyduck, use Water Gun!" Atticus yelled. His Psyduck was quick to react and follow the instructions, obviously realizing that it couldn't fight on it's own instinct alone. Aiming directly at the Sentret, it released a blast of water straight ahead.
The blast of water caught Sentret squarely in its chest, knocking it into a nearby tree. It struggled to get back onto its feet and continue the battle, but it seemed like the little creature could barely stand anymore (hp red)
Psyduck's final strike landed true on Sentret, knocking it into the dirt one last time. The ring-tailed creature didn't appear to be going anywhere very quickly at all, and almost appeared to be unconscious from the heavy battling it had just gone through.
As Atticus was about to wander away, he turned back to the Sentret and wrestled a Potion from his bag. Carefully walking over to the wild Poke'mon, he used to contents of his potion to the worst of the Sentret's wounds.
"There you go. Sorry we had to be so rough-my Poke'mon need some battle experience. Hope that takes care of the worst of your injuries."
His conscience appeased, Atticus turned and continued down the path with Sneasel in tow.
As Atticus and Sneasel continued through the forest, they noticed two sets of eyes watching them. One appeared to be from a normal creature that looked similar to a deer, but the second set of eyes was anyone's guess.
"Wait. Something doesn't seem quite right." The deer looked fine. It was that second pair of "eyes" that unnerved Atticus.
Getting out his Poke'dex again, Atticus aimed it at the deer. Maybe the Poke'dex could clear some things up. Just in case, Atticus held Glameow's ball at the ready.
Releasing Glameow from its ball, the cat immediately set to following its command. Growling menacingly, the cat tryed to scare the Stantler out from hiding.
Glameow scratched up Stantler's legs a bit before the larger creature could get away. It turned, and gave a withering stare at the catty pokemon. (leer)

Releasing the recently-caught Psyduck from its ball, Atticus quickly gave the Psyduck a command.
"Psyduck, Water Gun! Try to hit that thing out of the trees!"
Quickly taking aim, the small duck spat out a stream of water at the ring-tailed Poke'mon while Atticus pulled out his Poke'dex.

"Psyduck! Use Scratch!"
The duck picked itself up and attempted to use what claws it had to Scratch its foe.

Psyduck eagerly complied, hurrying to strike the final blow before the Sentret could make another move.

Stantler continued to remain motionless as it observed Atticus and Sneasel.
Releasing Glameow from its ball, the cat immediately set to following its command. Growling menacingly, the cat tryed to scare the Stantler out from hiding.
"Glameow, respond with a Scratch."
Making sure its footing was sturdy before launching its strike, the cat swiped at the Stantler with its right front paw.
