**Arms crossed, Levana deliberated carefully over what both machinists had relayed.**
Levana - As I see it, we can take the other path for now, or figure out a way to safely unseal this door. Which would entirely depend upon the amount of water released by these tanks.
Odd - Considering we are here to fix the magic controlling Sylvan's permanent night, maybe we should look into the path with the most magic and then come back to this once we're done over there?
Heading in the opposite direction soon brought them into a large, open room tiled with numerous metal plates. At the opposite ends of the room, at each corner of the wall across from their entrance, were two more doors, simpler than those previously encountered.
**Gram checked to see if smashing any of them would do the trick this time. Or, you know, just trying to open them.**

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
Maren knew a pressure plate when he saw one, the numerous metal plates that tiled the area between themselves and the door were clearly triggers for some sort of mechanism or mechanisms.
Maren - "Well there's some sort of triggering mechanism in the tiles... Could be a trap. Always like to test a theory tough. Everyone lets get back a bit."
Once the group had moved away he pulled out his hydraulic staff and extended it. He pressed the pressure plate down while he was a bout six feet away from it.
Immediately after Rain asked the question the pad clicked under the pressure of Maren's staff, a burst of steam issued out from around the pad and up towards where a person would have been standing. The gathered group felt the heat of the steam from where they were standing. Another click and a gurgling noise followed when Maren lifted the staff off the pad.
Maren - "Hmm. Looks like it. I suppose we have to test another theory then."
He went along the first line of tiles and pressed them all, carefully, to see if any of them reacted differently or were free of reaction all together.
Of the first row, three more seemed to be steam traps. The remaining two pads launched violently upwards when depressed, clearly angled towards the rest of the tiles.
Levana - As I see it, we can take the other path for now, or figure out a way to safely unseal this door. Which would entirely depend upon the amount of water released by these tanks.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Maren - "I don't see why not. No reason to take the risk if we don't have to and there's no need for rushing as far as I know."
Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.
Those who might never meet are pooled together

**The Oathbreaker continued to cast her eye around the room for traces of magic, if it was any stronger towards a certain door.**
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Levana wasn't sure, but she thought the right door seemed to have a stronger aura about it.
Rain couldn't tell much about the door from the other side of the room.

Rain-how are we going to test it?

He chuckled after he spoke.
Maren - "We had better see if they reset once they're depressed."
He repeated the maneuver on the same tile.
