Falthor began walking towards the mouth of the cave, a shroud of mist forming around his feet and rising up before he and the mist both fade from view. The enforcer headed straight towards the village, trusting that the tavern would be fairly easy to spot.
Corvus - "It's worth a shot... After you baracade them in, maybe make a distraction to draw the guards off the wall. Then we can really surprise them."
Falthor was correct. The tavern was the largest building in the village and had a sign outside that read, "Barrow's Bottomless Barrel," and from the inside of it Falthor could hear laughter.
Falthor took a quick look at the door of the place and the surrounding area, trying to decide if he needed to fully barricade the door or if he could use his manacles to keep it shut.
Falthor snuck forward and quietly wrapped the manacles around the handles, pulling them tight and allowing them to close with a quiet click. They wouldn't open again until he commanded it. He set about circling the tavern, looking for alternate exits.
By this time, the moon was starting to rise to replace the sun. Soon Falthor ran across two men that seemed to be moments away from dozing off while leaning against the back of a house.
Falthor's appearance and words startled one of the two Humans back to complete consciousness. He had a sword at his side and appeared to be wearing leather armor.
Human 1 - Huh, what!?
The first man's yelling scared the other man awake. He had a club and no obvious armor.
**Axe in hand, he began to not-very-carefully pick his way down to the village.**

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
Falthor turned to one side, allowing the clumsily thrown club to fly past him. Instead of pressing forward he tried to line up his dart launcher with the armoured man's neck before firing.
Falthor's dart struck true and the man spun around, sword in hand. He swung the blade at the Enforcer. Soon the sound of two or three more men could be heard coming their direction.
Laghairt - Sounds like it!
The Ogofta and the others ran after Antoninus. Antoninus soon saw the four men that Bil had mentioned earlier. Two of them had bows and the other two held spears in their hands.
**Not missing a beat, Antoninus swung his massive body around and flung his axe toward the crowd of men.**

The axe managed to knock all of the men off of their feet, though it didn't appear to have seriously injured any of them. The men's weapons wound up on the ground in multiple pieces however.
Luckily, for Falthor, the swordsman's hands had already started to lose their grip and his weapon fell from his hands. He soon fell backwards against the house again. A few moments later two more Humans arrived, both carrying maces and wearing iron breastplates. Meanwhile, Corvus's dagger hit one of the men in the side. A scream came from him and the other men quickly stood up and ran.
**The grounded men suddenly find themselves besieged by a landshark, a cockatrice, and a Torsyr. A song rings out from some nearby trees, further pushing despair into the human's hearts. Yack stands in the distance on a recently set up but unmoving crab carriage.**

Corvus - "We should get at close as possible without being spotted. We need to be ready when this goes down."

Falthor- Long day, huh?

Human 2 - Ahh!

Falthor raised his hand towards the unarmoured man and launched a pair of darts at his chest.
The man with the club started to charge at Falthor but his legs didn't allow him to move properly. He instead threw his weapon at the Enforcer.
Human 1 - Help, we're under attack by some sort of phantom!
