Legato - "That would work. I'll take the job, but I'll be straight with you: things may not go down precisely how the guild would prefer. I'm less interested in making one guild supremely happy than I am in making all guilds rather happy."
Ciaran stumbled a little before securing a seat near a table. He then proceeds to salute the bartender. Ciaran: "Excuse me, where is the little breathing room?"
Ciaran scratched his head, letting out a smirk by the first scratch. He looked around and then leaned closer to the Bartender.
Ciaran: "Heh. Sorry. My name is Ciaran. You can say I am really new with this Thieves Guild thingy, but I do understand there are some business that needs doing at the moment."
Kindir- Right, we need attention taken off this whole witch hunt the guard have going. Crashers have also been getting a little too big for their britches, so two birds.
Kindir- One of the larger gangs in Elexia at the moment, run by a garr named Krash. The stone as it were, is that we've been given free reign to put a little dent in their operations.
Kindir- If you think you can handle a fight, try and bait some of their men into a confrontation and leave them hurting worse than you. Otherwise you'll have to be more creative. Either way they tend to gather around the drowned warehouses and the docks in general.
A raven's caw could be faintly heard, and as Ciaran stood up, it grew louder and closer.
Ciaran: "Wish me luck?"
A raven flew in when one of the guest entered through the main door. Ciaran raised his left hand and then the raven perched on it, cawing towards Ciaran and the woman. Ciaran smirked as if the raven had told him something.
Legato - "So, he's a show-off. Would you say he's more of a show-off than he is prudent?"
Legato - "That would work. I'll take the job, but I'll be straight with you: things may not go down precisely how the guild would prefer. I'm less interested in making one guild supremely happy than I am in making all guilds rather happy."
Dusk- That shouldn't be a problem. How exactly it pans out might affect what kind of payment we can render, of course.
**He rose, picking his sword.**
Legato - "Give me one of his debts. A big one."
Dusk- It will be sorted within the hour.
Legato - "I'll be waiting somewhere public. The Docks, I think."
Ciaran: "Excuse me, where is the little breathing room?"
Bartender- Uh... we have a couple of free booths if you wanted some privacy.
A kindirin woman at the next table coughed.
Ciaran: "Heh. Sorry. My name is Ciaran. You can say I am really new with this Thieves Guild thingy, but I do understand there are some business that needs doing at the moment."
Kindir- -to the city. New to the city.
The woman took a seat at Ciaran's table and waved away the bartender.
Kindir- How can I help you?
Ciaran: "As I was saying,"
Ciaran leaned forward, glancing at the bartender before extending his right hand.
Ciaran: "Businesses?"
Kindir- You legacy hires really can be wet behind the ears, can't you? You want to talk guild work, I'm your girl.
Ciaran: "And really dry inside the throat,"
Ciaran slowly tapped his neck before continuing.
Ciarain: "So, yes, I am looking for work. I heard that a rather distracting work is available?"
Ciaran rubbed his right jaw.
Ciaran: "Then how do we put it? Arson? Assault? I really haven't done a lot except playing with these.."
Ciaran took one of his knives and twirled it twice with his index finger before sheathing it back.
Ciaran: "Yeah, I need to prepare."
The raven cawed.
Ciaran: "Well, I've forgotten my magic lessons."
The raven cawed louder.
Ciaran: "Hah. Yeah. Sorry. I am not you. And no, these kitchen knives won't be enough."
The raven cawed in a same pitch over and over again. Ciaran scolded it while opening the door.
