**Ette, who had continued to drain the wine bottle while Corvus and Sef addressed him, gave Sef a somewhat regretful look when he revealed that he'd emptied it.**
Ette - "Er, sorry. But funny you should mention Sylvan; a couple of little lordlings apparently went and got themselves vanished in the Kurrs and their parents gave me a fortunate to find them."
**The bartender brought over another bottle, which Ette happily popped open.**
Ette - "...'course, I've already spent most of it at this bar."
**Makeda took the hand with a firm grip.**
Makeda - "Oh! Yes, I think I remember you! Those balls are much more fun before actually start trying to shove you at each other privates-first."
"I'd ask whereabouts they got themselves lost if I knew a damn thing about sea navigation." He waived the bartender down and ordered another bottle of wine, when he got it he took a pull and then offered the bottle to Sef.
Corvus gave her a half smile and picked up a glass from the table that the captain clearly wasn't using and poured her a glass. "Why of course I'll pour your wine for you m'lady." He said teasingly.
Ette - "They're supposed to be on Barbudas; if they aren't then they're probably gone for good. Should be an easy job; always good to take some extra hands for these trips to the less inhabited Kurrs though."
Makeda - "Luckily for me Mother never gave any of that much mind; she was always a stickler for traditions up until the precise moment any one of them got in her way, or seemed foolish, or just seemed like a hassle. Which is pretty great, really."
Ette - "Well their ship's still fine; the Lords had trackers attached to them. And it's still in the Kurrs, so they didn't just hide out in Bon Vivant. So they're either on Barbudas alive, or on Barbudas dead. More specifics than that, who knows."
**Sef quick on the uptake, did her part by boosting a few of the bottles of wine courtesy of the Lords coin, and then followed the group out to the docks.**
Corvus watched her preform this with a small smile and dropped two glasses in his voidspace while no one was looking before heading out the door. But this being a place of the trade, he left enough cash to cover the glasses on the table.
**Gamble sat at the bar, idly drawing shapes on the counter top using a puddle of spilled beer and his finger. Was he really going to keep chasing after quests like this? Wasn't getting out of that life why he left two years ago? Ugh, this is stupid. And this bar is terrible; there are way better bars.
Finding that to be the most sensible thought he'd had in hours, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the Blue Bend to prepare to take himself somewhere else. Instead, however, he found himself staring deeply into the Jaded Eye.**
Morgan extended a gauntleted hand to the mercenary captain, it was a world away from any introduction they would have had in their youth.
Marius - Oh, hey Makeda! Decided to head out to sea after finally making your way out of the mountains?
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.

**She gave a friendly nod to Marius.**
Sef - Of course! Free booze is all the sweeter!
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.
Those who might never meet are pooled together
Sef - Were you going to get some glasses?
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Marius - I'd like to join up as a member of the crew for that job you mentioned Captain.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.

Sef - So, what's the plan, captain? We give it the old Bakaran try, and whatnot?
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.

Makeda - "Well I am a mercenary after all. Might as well earn my gold in the bright sunshine rather than some mudhole in the Fens."
Sef - That's the problem, most of them think it's all Bon Vivant, but after so many lost heirs you'd think they would have learned by now.
To live is to hope, and while we breathe, we hope and live.
Ette - "Right then! Let's get to the ship and continue this conversation there; might as well get a good start on the trip."
**With that he started out.**
