MTG Salvation

An opulent space beneath the Consortium building is used for Duels for Planeswalkers, as their powers may or may not be too much for the general populace of the City of Guilds.

Waking from his slumber in the rafters of the Consortium building, Quinne heads down to the Arena Pit below, waiting to see of there is anyone up for a casual fight.

Y'gth walks into the arnea and looks onto it and lightly scoffs. Maybe a game I can play?

Seeing a furry four legged critter enter the arena, Quinne shifts into a form quite like the one he saw enter, while jumping down to the closest Pit.

"So," he growls out, "Shall we have a friendly duel?"

Quinne starts to glow a very vibrant green color as he waits for the acceptance of his challenge.

Y'gth sigh. "I suppose we shall." Y'gth glowed a dull white and growled slightly. A mechanical being popped into existence.

8/10. Done.

Seeing his opponent glow white, he has an idea of how this will go, but seeing that little machine show up....

"Alright then, let's see how you enjoy...."

Glowing a bright green color, Quinne's new wolf form opens its jowls and spews forth a large, serpent-like creature, and following it, another large creature, different from the first, followed by a smaller, more agile creature. Licking his chops, Quinne lets out a howl of laughter.
"THIS!"


End Turn

Y'gth sighed. "I see how it is going to be."

Y'gth glowed white again and another creature appeared.

"That's not it though." The metal on the two creature's bodies harden and became shiny.

"Alpha Myr, my friend, please go forth and do battle!" With that, the myr lunged forward at Quinne.

Howling a little bit to his smaller companion, the agile one moves to intercept the attacking machine, taking the blow nicely, but not nicely enough, taking it down with it, hoping to dissolve it into nothingness along with itself.

Y'gth's jowls snapped as the myr glowed slightly. The myr survived the block, but stopped moving for the time being, its energy spent for the moment.

Preventing 1 damage with healing.

Seeing his companion go down in that way....starts to make Quinne a little peturbed, but not overly so. "Goodbye, friend, i shall see you again soon!"

Glowing with a vibrant green light once more, Quinne howls again, this time spewing forth more creatures from his maw: the agile one from before, and three smaller ones, causing the other creatures to grow stingers from the tips of their tails, much like the ones they themselves have.

"Now then, my friends, let us show this pesky metal wolf what it means to really HURT!" Quinne lets out a howl so loud, it can be felt more than heard, as his companions charge forward...

Y'gth frowned. "My myr... Block one of the stinger ones."
It moved into position and blocked the beast with its claws.

Y'gth braced for the coming assault and felt sick from it.

"Now, my turn." Y'gth stared down the two biggest of the creatures and they were cowed.

Howling with laughter, Quinne grins with a wolfish smile. "Are you sure you don't want to concede, friend? I am fairly sure that you will lose this bout." Quinne laughs some more, readying himself in case his opponent did not wish to end their duel prematurely.

Ugh... I was going to use Circle of Protection: Artifacts to be mean. >:3

But, I died. Sigh...

Y'gth dropped to the ground. "I know when I've had enough... I wish to bite the heads from those beasts." With that, the myr disappeared.

"Goodbye, old friend."

Y'gth struggled up and limped out of the arena. "I'm getting a drink..."

Out of nowhere, the Minotaur Bartender from above appears and says, "The victor is Quinne, The Wearer of Many Faces!" The minotaurs hands glow slightly and send a bolt of energy first to Y'gth, and Y'gth feels relieved and refreshed. Then to Quinne, he sends a different bolt of energy, healing him as well if he were hurt, and giving him strength of knowledge, then disappears.

Nodding in the direction of the minotaur, Quinne shifts back into his squirrel form and heads up into the arena rafters, to see if anyone else shows up.
