OOC: Just when I begin to lose hope you come through. TY Cyouni.
As Gear watches the battle unfold he can only look a bit amused. This battle is almost like a machine. Each piece falls into place in due time. This strange elf they are fighting seems not to have any reference to what what he is facing, while Gear's own companions are showing the power which they possess. Another obsidian gear forms near gears others. As they being to spin teeth binding into one another a small silver sphere begins to take form. It hums with a strange metallic sound which seems very calming for Gear. His chittering insects still at his side Gear watches for where this battle may go.
"I asked you to surrender," Gully says as her elf falls,"Now it looks like I need to show you why you should have." The stones in Gully's gloves light up and with the Mana she takes hold of the Æther forming a tear and from the tear an Elemental Horse rushes onto the field. The Horse reared up onto its back legs and as its front hooves slam into the ground a sock wave rolls out from it. An energy surges from Gully's remaining Elf and into the steed, making it grow larger. She has a winged Elf appear and then disappear in a burst of Mana and using that Mana she has two Drakes appear. More energy comes from the male Elf and finds its way to them, making them grow larger. "I take no pleasure in this." She nods to her creatures and they charge at the Elf.
OOC: I wasn't going to do that unless you tapped out.
Gully looks down as her creatures return to her. As Viya lands on her shoulder she finally looks at the defeated Elf and shakes her head. She releases her grip on her Mana and allows it and her creatures to slide back into the Æther. "Tell the farmer that the job is done; that the wild menace has been defeated," she says with disgust, "I am going to stay here. See to returning his body back to Mother Gaea. Look through his cave some and try to figure out why he did this. You two can split whatever part of the reward was suppose to go to me; I don't want it"
Gear: Gully you make no sense to me. You state that you take no pleasure in putting away the crazed elf and yet you still did. There was no hesitation, no holding back just a raw focused attack meant to prove something. Gear shakes his head. And to make matters worse you then decide that you will seek the noble path and return this individuals body back to the earth. It is not noble, it is not completing the cycle, it is a sense of finality for an act which you committed and ended in what we find here. Gear sighs once more There are times when the emotions and deeds of others completely perplex me. Its no wonder I find more comfort with machines than anyone else. As for your last comment while you may not find that you deserve something that is your place to state to the farmer himself. We are not couriers. With that Gear moves away.
Gear then begins to look around the cave his vision adjusting to the now dimmer surroundings. Perhaps there is some indicator of what may have caused this whole ordeal. Still his sense of disapproval for the exact way this ended is palpable. While it makes sense to kill that which is crazed Gear saw no expressive effort to really change the way things were beyond the brutality of it all. Yes this life is a kill or be killed mentality but some things just are not that simple.

The cave is mostly barren, though a ragged mat sits near one wall. Scattered across the mat are what can be assumed to be a few personal items, though their design and manufacture is unfamiliar.
"I did what needed to be done, just because there was no..." Gully's voice trails off and a look of confusion, followed by annoyance crosses her face. "I did not ask for, nor do I need your approval. You are but a construct; your opinion means nothing to me. What could you ever know of the ways of Gaea," Gully states as Gear goes into the cave. She turns away from her companions and goes about collecting wood for a pyre.
OOC: It's cool dude. Tis the Holidays. I'm sure that everyone understands.
Gully goes about building up the pyre and places the Elf on top of it once she finishes. "Return to Gaea. May you find peace with Her." She brings forth a small amount of red Mana to her forming it into a small flame and uses it to light the pyre. As the flames begin to consume him she walks away and joins Gear in the cave. "Have you found anything of interest, construct?"
Gear is visibly annoyed with the name construct. His etherium leg is unusual but its more biological than anything this world may hold. Gear: No foolish child I have not found anything. And so you know I wouldn't be so cross with that which you don't understand. I'm sure your simple mind could not fathom the dynamics which compose my very being let alone understand what I am. I am no construct nor machine child. Pausing for a moment Gear regains a bit of his level dry wit. Now have you finished rubbing your sticks together, your prayer to long dead myths and competing the final step of the cycle of death you set into motion?.
Gear turns his back on Gully as he says these things. The child will never understand. Perhaps after some experience she might.

A look of irritation crosses Gully's face for a moment, but she shakes it off and smiles. "Yes, I have completed the final part of the cycle. The sticks have all been rubbed and the all of prayers are done. Thank you for being so concerned about it." Gully circles around to in front of Gear as she looks about the cave. "You do speak truth, Gear. I don't understand you." She crosses her arms as she speaks. "You put down my religion. You call me a child. You call me simple. You do this all while saying that I wouldn't understand what you are made of or what you are." She drops her arms. "At the moment I just see someone who is very small and needs to feel big by putting others down. I see a construct. I see an artificial being that is not of Gaea and therefore not worth my time, other than for me to crush and ensure that it is no longer a stain upon her." She sighs as she thinks for a second. "But...but that is not what I returned to Estark to do. I came back so that I could grow more...You have no understanding of my views, and I...I have have no understanding of what you are. So, Gear. Enlighten me. If you are no construct or machine, as you appear, then what are you?"
OOC: This is my placeholder. I apologize QFX I've been really really busy, sick, and a whole bunch of other things. I will try in the next few days to get something on here. I just want to let you know that I am not dead and gone just really really tied up in things...

The crazed elf falls, an echo of surprise etched across his face. His remaining beasts fade away, and the forbidding aspect of the cave fades away.

The wood for the pyre is easily found, and it's dry enough to light easily.
Gully goes about building up the pyre and places the Elf on top of it once she finishes. "Return to Gaea. May you find peace with Her."
