Tilia nods, taking the vials **yes, you probably will be** tilia thinks to herself as she leaves the storefront.
---------------------
Tilia enters Orim's Cure shop, a bit hesitantly, remembering what the woman, Orim did the last time Tilia entered the shop. She walks around the shop looking at the merchandise, finally pulling a few items in particular from the shelf. She then waits patiently for Orim to make an appearance in the shop, not sure what to say.
OOC: pulling a Healing Vial, and 2 Scrolls of Renewal from the shelves.
EDIT: I also hope its okay that I double posted since it has been 2 months since my last post in this thread...
Orim comes out from the back. "For the last time, no. I won't have that sort of thing in my shop!"
Before Tilia can react, a Elven Simic woman follows Orim out. "I don't see how my products are any different from yours. They are designed to make people better."
"Mine are designed to cure people. Yours 'make them better,'" Orim snaps.
Orim adjusts her headdress. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a customer." She turns to Tilia. "Yes, can I help you?"
"It's unnatural, that's what it is," Orim grumbled under her breath.
Pretending that she didn't hear, the woman responds to Tilia. "In theory, if I acquire the proper materials and ingredients, some of my concoctions can enhance certain qualities of the imbiber without the need for cytoplastic enhancements. Of course, they do help."
Orim, who at this point had moved over to her table, harrumphed.
The elven woman turns her head, and points to the base of her neck. Underneath her tightly bunned hair, some sort of blob was attached to the back of her skull. The item shimmers a deep aquamarine.
"Cytoplasts," she says, "they enhance us, and can transfer to us qualities we may lack. This, for example, enhances my telepathic abilities."
"Erm, yeah, I think, that I will pass." Tilia says while thinking to herself **what sort of abomination is she?** She then turns to Orim and says "Excuse me, I think I would like to purchase these." holding up the vials.

If the woman could read Tilia's thoughts, she made no flicker of movement. "I understand it's not for everyone," she says. "but I believe you misunderstood, I said 'without the need for cytoplastic enhancements.' I have formulated potions which—"
"Miss Selar," Orim says, cutting the elf off.
"Doctor Selar," the elf replies.
"Miss Selar," Orim says with the same emphasis, "please wait in the back, the young lady wishes to make a purchase." She puts on an obviously forced smile.
Doctor Selar stands still, and with a huff, walks back behind the curtain.
"Yes, I'm very sorry," Orim looks back at Tilia, and at her items. "Yes, that will be nine gold."
Tilia cautiously approaches the Cleric, while pulling out some gold from her satchel with one hand and holding the vials with the other. She hands the 9 gold to Orim and says "Thank you very much, Madam."

Orim looks so flustered by the argument, that she doesn't even mention whatever it was she saw within Tilia last time. "You're welcome," is all she says, and glances back at the flaps to the back.
Stumbling into the shop, Jasper gains his bairing and leaps behind a shelf, nearly knocking the contents over. Moving quick to avoid any possibly spillage, he darts up to the counter and leaps on top of it, so as to see the clerk.
"Ummm, I was told you needed some help finding things, or perhaps for volunteers for expirements" he slips off the counter right onto his rear, but manages to roll with it to hide behind a small barrel.
Popping up quickly, "I would like to help, but I have to make sure the chared aren't coming for me, I apparently just fought someone, and I'm afraid they'll find me from the power source"
"Damn! What in the name of the Spider Queen's Drider pet sock puppet is going on!?"

Blasphemy! The system is perfect. The ability to create a spell to duplicate gods at skill check DC 10 is totally balanced and doesn't say anything about the system's viability!
Orim places her hands on the counter, and stands up. The look on her face is approaching livid, but she speaks with a very controlled tone.
"If you are looking for Miss Selar, she's across the street with her 'augmented' saprolings. Now please, leave my shop before you break something. If you do, you will pay for it."
Hearing the tone in Orim's voice, Jasper gulps down what air he can manage to find, and darts out of the shop. Moving a little too quick he stumbles his way across the street nearly hitting another mage, but manages to avoid the encounter all the while zipping into the empty lab being constructed.

As Tilia walks towards Orim she pulls a scroll out of her purse and says "I don't suppose it would be possible to return this to you and get something of a refund for it, would it?"
OOC: would like to try to refund a scroll of renewal (I am not expecting much, and am not even sure it is even possible for something that is only worth 2 Gold)...

Tilia nodded, and turned to leave thinking to herself "Apparently Orim has forgotten all about my 'weird' nature. Oh well I guess it can't be helped."
After her short pause to think, Tilia shakes her head and then exits the shop with a serene smile on her face. She heads towards House Shimia after that, hoping to find Roger still asleep.
Outside Orim's shop, one of her assistants posts a bill.
"Help wanted:
I need assistance retrieving some ingredients for some potions. Due to the amount of travel needed, it is prohibitive for me to do it myself, so I am petitioning the help of skilled mages willing to offer their assistance. Thank you in advance.
