A seraph walks into the entryway of House Benalia and tacks up the following announcement on the message board:
Members of House Benalia, a document has recently come in the possession of the House detailing the location of a piece of extremely powerful equipment. The other houses would love to get their hands on this item, and we are loathe to give it to them. As such, we are only sending one mage out on this commission to retrieve it. If we sent more, it would alert the other houses that something important was going on and they would send out their own investigators. If you are interested, see Kentaro for further details. Level cap of 2 for this assignment. Anyone of higher ability would be noticed immediately.

Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

Finally, I've got things taken care of and I'm back! hope to catch up on things shortly
Wynn sighed. Every time she was almost ready to get things going, something came up. They were small, usually insignificant things, but she had to take care of them none the less. Finally she was ready, and everything she could possibly think of had been taken care of. It was time to get things back on track, and that started with a trip to the arena. Her better wardrobe ruined from the last venture into the arena, Wynn was left with a simple pair of brown shoes, a dusty blue pleated skirt, and a fading undershirt under her tan cloak. It wasn't much, but it was what she had to work with. maybe she could try her hand at mending them, but at present she had more important things to talk about. tugging everything in place, she took a deep breath.

"Yes, thank you. As I came closer to this building I kept on hearing how this house has help the people in this city. I have traveled from the far north from my sky village to join your worthy group and help you in continuing to help the people of this land. So, may I join?"
Raiden extends his hand in good gesture hoping Seraph will shake hands with him.
Taking Raiden's hand uncertainly, the Seraph releases it quickly. "Certainly, good sir. Welcome to House Benalia. This is your token of membership," she hands him a coin, "Current House policies dictate that you must pay for the cost of replacement if you lose it, and let me inform you that these coins cost quite a bit to make. Shall I show you to your room?"

"Thank you. Yes, please show me to my room." Raiden pockets the coin in one a pocket that is on the inside of his vest, then lets his cloak fall down back on him as he rests his arm waiting for Seraph to show him to his room.
The seraph leads Raiden through the very ordered halls to a room. "This will be your room for the duration of your stay in House Benalia. Good day." The Seraph walks off.

"Thank you, Seraph." Raiden walks into the room and looks around and observes where things are. He pulls a book from under his cloak which hangs on a chain that is wrapped over his shoulder and lets the book lay against his right hip. After reading his book for awhile he puts it away and steps out of the room and begins looking for something to do.
"Wow, this is an amazing house" Kago remarks mostly to himself "HELLO?" Kago says looking for someone to address to join this amazing house devoted to the ways of law and order. "I HAVE COME TO JOIN THIS GREAT HOUSE, IS ANY ONE HERE?"
A seraph walks up to the Kitsune. "You wish to join us? That is a simple matter. If you are certain, this coin is for you. It will allow you past the warded door into the rest of the House. Do not lose it, for you will not be issued another." The seraph hands over a coin and a key. "The key is for your room. If you have any questions, I am always here."

"Thank you" and Kago bows his head and slips the coin into his satchel. Kago goes to his room and sets up the few belongings he has on the desk and takes a nap.
After wakeing up in his new room, Kago walks out and trys to find that seraph that helped him out. Once he finds the angel he walks up to the angelic being and states:
Hello, do you have anything for me to do? You know like a quest or task for me to prove my worth?
OOC: Uh . . . MAXedOUT, where are you? You can't be in two places at once and you haven't stated that you've left House Benalia.

OOC: Im sorry, I didnt know that I had to wait for an answer if I was just asking the Seraph if she and any erands she wanted me to run, or a quest to start on my way into the city...
I guess im at Frankies shop, disreguard that post then. But for the record it does take a while for some people to post, I just wanted to "kill 2 birds with one stone" so to speak hehe. Also Im all fired up to do my next quest.
Kago leaves the house, just to be more clear on that subject.
As the Leonin and the human enter Masako's office, she looks up at them. Falnir suddenly feels like his eyes are playing tricks on him as it looks like Masako is maybe, possibly, hinting at a ghost of a smile. Then the hint is gone as she shifts her sharp gaze right to Falnir. "You have done well, Falnir, and are a credit to House Benalia. There is one more thing we need from you, and you may bring Alastor there with you if you wish. A member of the Azorius Senate came to House Benalia while you were in the Grove and informed us that her child has gone missing. She does not want to involve the watch, but she came from House Benalia and trusts us to bring her child back. We want you to go and find the child."

Alastor responds first, "Certainly. Sounds like something really important that needs to be done."
Then, Masako speaks up, "You will find the affected house in the wealthy residential area, as far away from the city gate as you can get and still be in the city." As the pair turn to leave, she speaks up again, "One last thing, gentlemen. A symbol was found near the child's bed. A crowned skull token."
