"I see you're here for the commission...do you need another mage to help you with this?"
Another girl approached Arguas. He took a moment to gaze at this slightly shorter one. Again, there seemed to be a common theme among those who wore white and blue, although the mixture of color with the green ensemble, including hair and vest, was one that he deemed to be interesting. He read the girl's expression as being one of mild disappointment, and his heart sank a bit when she asked the question. Trying to sound as polite and kind as possible.
Well miss, I would love to have you along, but unfortunately, I may not be the one to ask here. The sign up for this task was placed in the hallway, and there is the name of another miss there, alongside mine own, by the name of Alissi. However, one of the stewards may be asked... perhaps Atalya would like a third companion to ensure her safety?
Arguas sighed and hung his head respectfully to this new girl for a moment. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I just joined last night. I hope to journey with you, miss... what is your name?
"It's Wynn. and I'm sure the two of you will be able to do just fine escorting her. After all, Mr. Capashen thinks that two mages would suffice, and I'm nowhere near experienced enough to not trust his judgement..." True, Wynn wasn't this curt most of the time; but something about this mage just rubbed her the wrong way. She'd have to keep an eye on him...
"And anyway, I'm sure there are other commisions that are available. Good luck on your quest." Wynn said cheerily as she quickly exited the castle. "...you're gonna need it..." she muttered to herself softly.

"And anyway, I'm sure there are other commisions that are available. Good luck on your quest."
And to you as well... His words were barely uttered as she took off.
With that, the girl was gone. The tone of the girl was somewhat irritated, even as she masked her 'good luck' with a kind disposition. Arguas wondered what the source of this could be... He decided it was likely the irritation of missing this quest. He felt a bit badly, but brushed it off... unfortunately things happen. She was still a Benalian Paladin, and a certain amount of respect should always be granted to those who recieved such honors. He quickly prayed for her to find what she was searching for.
From here, Arguas ate silently, thinking about his quest, and waiting for Alissi to return, and for guidance along the path he has chosen.
Sensing the approach of the angel, Arguas bowed first to both of them, making sure that his hood did not fall to his face as he did so in the presence of magnificence.
With this meeting complete, Arguas turned to Alissi.
Honored sister of House Benalia, I am pleased to formally meet your acquaintance, as we were cut off before as you had errands to run. Now that you have returned, and that since we will be working together, I figure now may be a good time to get acquainted on a business level. Our teamwork will be much better coordinated if we each understood what each other has to offer in terms of magic.
With that, Arguas invited Alissi to discuss such things away from watchful eyes.
Wynn had returned, although not because of her actions. She had almsot gotten them killed, and only by the quick thinking of her team-mates was she able to get out of dodge. It would be a long time before she was allowed to do much of any more quests...hell, she was lucky she still had a house, given her screw up. There wasn't much left to do. she ust went to her room and went to sleep.

"huh?" Wynn awoke suddenly, someone knocking at her door. She hurried to gather her effects, as well as grab her spell satchel. She slowly opened the door, keeping it slightly closed, but open enough to see the messenger.
"Yes, I'm Wynn. what message do you have for me?"

"I am a messenger from the Grand House! Radiant up front said that I should look for you... our city is in danger!" Looking out from her door, Wynn sees a man in a messenger's cap and a set of rather nice-looking golden robes, the color of the Grand House.
"We are under attack! By the laws of our city, houses must send representatives to defend us all in times of need! Radiant says that she has trust in you, and has felt that you would be suitable to represent House Benalia! What do you say?!" The man wrings his hands nervously, awaiting Wynn's reply.
Wynn was shocked. After her last performance, she didn't feel she even deserved to be in the house. Now the house trusted her so much that they would send her to guard the town. She didn't know why, but something told her she needed to perform this duty. After all, Radient wouldn't put her in a position she couldn't handle, right?
"I'd be glad to represent the house. Give me a few minutes to get ready, though. I don't care how close the attacker is, I'm not going to fight evil in a nightdress!" Wynn then shut the door and rushed to put on fresh clothes. cotton undershirt, green vest, tan overcoat, a new blue skirt, stockings and her boots, the whole nine yards. She re-opened the door soon, putting her hair up with her blue ribbon in hand.

The messenger seemed relieved. "Stunning, miss! But, I must say, we should get going back to the Grand House and confirm your representation of the house. The Grand House is in the center of the city. Come, follow me, I will lead you to the sign!" He started to scramble away, but he stopped. "Oh, miss? These were hanging on your door when I knocked. They are yours, right?" The gems were exactly the ones she had asked for after she completed the mission with Frankie.

I have just dueled and lost to a phyrexian minion, and I'm looking to cleanse the world of their evil works, but I lack the power to do so and thought coming to a house of mages who practice similar magic as I could help raise my power level. And the house could help me figure out how to sabatage the phyrexian effort in any ways possible."
The angels faces look concerned when they hear that Askor has fought one of the phyrexian minions but they quickly shifts back to a more relaxed look.
Angel: Well then good sir you have come to the right house. Although it vexes us so that our house master can not offer the invitaion directly we offer you admission into the house of the Benalia Paladins. To accept all you have to do is take this coin signifying your admission. As for sabotageing the phyrexians give us some time and we may be able to do something to strike back at the feinds.
With that said one of the angels reaches behind their backs into a pouch and pulls out a small coin. It is offered to you if you wish to join the house.

Wynn returned to the House Benalia, but the return was bittersweet. She knew information that was probably better left hidden, that Radient had killed House Master Capashen...she just needed to rest, it had been an exhausting day...
Time passes...
Wynn's night wasn't the most restful, but at the same time it was much needed. Either way, one thought was on her mind: she needed a break from all the chaos of the houses, the war amongst the elder mages, everything. She took her time preparing herself, got dressed, and left the house.

A man trying to act as inconspicuous as possible makes his way into the house of the Paladins. He seems to move slowly but surely as if it has been some time that he has been in a house like this one. An archangel flies down to greet the man. The angel and the man converse a little. In a hesitant voice the only thing that can be heard from the man is named Rysale. After a short moment of speaking the angel hands to man an emblem of the house of the Benalia Paladins and then man leaves thankful.

Wynn snapped her head up from the bed and promptly fell back down from the pain of moving her leg. Taking in her surroundings, she realized what happened. She was back in her room in House Benalia. She also remembered her dream...or rather, a nightmare. So many horrors...but Mishra had given her sanctuary. It may not have been real, but Wynn was pretty sure the end might not have been as pleasant had Mishra not come to her aid...
Reaching inside her nightgown, Wynn pulled out the locket and held it close. She may indeed owe the man her life. Looking around her room for any sign of change, she saw a wheelchair next to her bed, and her leg was in a very tight wrap of cloth. While she would likely be able to maneuver around the house, she felt it would be better to get more rest...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As she slept, she began to dream. Wynn found herself in the middle of pure-white room. No doors, no windows, she was trapped.
"Why don't you have a seat..." behind her were three other girls, each looking close to her age. All three were seated at a square table, leaving only one seat for Wynn. The girl who spoke was seated across from the empty chair, talking with a feeling of authority, but also compassion. Her brown messy hair contrasted with her green sweater, and her round glasses magnified her eyes. Seeing no other option, Wynn sat down at the table.
"Can we get this done and over with?" the girl to Wynn's left butted in, obviously not wanting to waste time. she had short red hair that almost looked ike it was ablaze. "The sooner we explain this, the sooner I can get back to sleep."
"She deserves to know, Hailey. After all, it is her body." The fourth girl spoke up, also seemingly annoyed at the situation. Her hair was a sky-blue color, braided in various places.
"I hate to cut this short, but we really need to get back on track." The brunette's commanding voice calmed down the other two, and she continued. "Even so, introductions are necessary. I'm Amanda, the red-head is Hailey, and the bluenette is Erica. We all know you, so that's taken care of. Any questions so far?"
"Two actually." Wynn said, nervous. "First, how do you know me, and second, where are we?"
"First, we're your elemental guardians, and second, we're in your mind. More specifically a dream. But enough of that." Hailey, as she was apparently called, dismissed the two questions with little thought. "You do remember the history of the elemental guardians, right?" Wynn nodded, and the red-head continued. "Has there been a time where you've come up with a brilliant plan, then when you think back about it, you don't have a clue how it came to you?"
Wynn thought about it, but nodded. Even if she hadn't been able to do so in time, using spells from Frankie Peanut's Supply caravan was a vital step to the party's survival of that event. Amanda smiled.
"Have you ever been in a tough spot, and saved everything with a quick-thinking negotiation?" Wynn nodded again, that event with Mishra fresh in her mind. Erica grinned.
"And have you ever gotten so angry at someone you wanted to blow them up, then not understand why a few seconds later?" More nods; she had noticed that behavior several times. Hailey was beaming.
"Then you understand how we affect your life. Now that you've begun to come into your own with your magical powers, I thought it would be good for you to know about us." Amanda stood up, the other three girls followed in turn.
"Just remember that you're never alone. We aren't able to manifest ourselves in any sense, but we can help you along if you need it."
"Just remember...that I'm never alone?" Wynn thought to herself, but before she could say anything else, everything faded out, back to the deep sleep she so desperatly needed...
Wynn once again is troubled by odd dreams but finally she finds solace in one where Mishra seemingly awaits her. He begins to speak to you and you find yourself unable to reply. It is as if you are only supposed to listen.
Mishra: Wynn I am glad to see you are progressing so well in your abilities but the time has come for you to expand your knowlege. You should probably start seeking a guild of your own to become part of. Then when the timeing is right I will come to you and we can start your final training. But you have some time before then for now rest and grow as you can. Also I have taken notice of your broken leg and by your request I have had a normal healer come to help you with it. Farewell we shall meet again in time.
You start to stir at the sound of someone entering your room. You see as a woman clad in blue and white robes moves twoards your bed. You also notice a guild symbol of the Azorious.
Woman: Are you Wynn Aeros? I was sent here by some members of your house to see what I could do about your leg.
She awaits your reply before continuing any farther. You also fee odd at her sudden prescence especially since Mishra had just talked about someone comeing.
