As Long-Fur leaves the area of the sewers he knows from his time with his Lord, he finds that they stretch forward and down for quite a long way. He enters an area that is a large round room with five other passages leading off it, spread equidistant from each other and the passage he entered from.

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

The door can open, though the hinges are rusted and squeak loudly in protest at being forced to move. The trapdoor opens up to a metal ladder with spots of rust on it and darkness that reveals nothing past the first three rungs.

Long-Fur tries to notice something in the darkness, but even with his rat's eyes he can't. Then he sniffs the air to make sure that there's nothing around him when he performs his next move.
From what he can tell, there's nothing around but more sewer paths.
OOC: And exploration of an area has dangers to it . . . yeah . . . that's my story

Now, knowing thath there's no one around him, Long-Fur takes his dagger and channels a little mana to it. The dagger starts to glow in a pale purple light, thus allowing nezumi to see some meters around him.
"Now where?", Long-Fur says to himself while looking around.
The short distance ahead that the light generates reveals that, other than the ladder, the only way to go is forward.

Something that Long-Fur picks up on after a rather short distance is movement of air on his face. This is accompanied by a scent that reminds him of Takenuma--decomposing bodies.

As Long-Fur moves further into the depths of the sewers, the smell of decomposing bodies gets stronger, and now the nezumi can pick up the sound of shuffling forms moving about up ahead. He can also see a bit of light a ways up the passageway.

Long-Fur creates a source of black mana and casts an undead goblin. (OOC: Assuming I can do this. If not, then I'll edit). Then nezumi continues moving towards the light source, all the time being as sneaky as previouly.
IC: As Long-Fur moves forward, he can feel the familiar power of necromantic energies that resonate with his animated goblin-zombie-thing that follows him. However, his keen ears pick up on more than necromantic shuffling. He can hear breathing as well.

"Huh?", Long-Fur thinks, "undeads do not breath... Who else could it be? "
Now interested in what lies here, Long-Fur creates another mana source and calls another goblin. "Hm... I suppose I shouldn't call more", Long-Fur decides and continues sneking.
After the near-total darkness, the torchlight that Long-Fur finds himself in is startling and nearly blinding. Fortunately, the Phyrexian-enhanced senses revert quicker than natural to reveal a man clad in rags standing before the nezumi, five zombies behind him. His face is wrinkled and pale, with green veins visible under the skin. He speaks in a grating tone, "Who are you and what are you doing here?"
