MTG Salvation

Circle number three was off to the side with a bored judge standing by idly. As you two approach he nods saying, "Remember the rules and begin when you are ready."

Deth walks into the arena, and silently sizes up Evans.

this is my turn, first or second

Seeing that the stranger was indeed what he said, a Black Mage, Evan readied himself, for he knew the power the mage weilded sprung from the same well, yet flowed differently than his own.

Seing what the stranger did, Evan said" Stranger, we haven't been properly introduced, My name is Evan and yours?"

After saying this, Evan calls forth the power of black mana, sumonning a black orb to him, waiting for the mages next move.

"My name is Deth" he calls, as he draws upon more mana, and his aura grows deeper. He then motions for his creature to attack, ready to increase the bats power if his opponent has no response.

OOC: No response.

IC: Seeing the bats come at him, Evan swipes his dagger at the little swarm, hoping to knock it out of the sky.

Drawing mana to himself, Evan makes his orb darker, and says, "Come forward, Small One! Rip from his mind that which he holds dear!"


OOC: Pass turn

OOC: I don't think you drew your dagger.
IC: Deth winces as a piece of his mind is ripped away. He then smiles, and draws upon more power. It agains condenses, and a figure riding a horse sulks out of it. He then draws his sai, and readys himself for an attack.

Field

OOC: Sorry. From now on, he always has his dagger ready for a counterattack, just so you know. Doing turn, assuming you passed.

IC: Missing with the strike of his dagger, Evan makes sure his hand and dagger are steady, ready in case anything else comes at him.

Evan recalls a peculiar place he visited recently, and gathers to him a swarm of insects, rats, and bones.

"Come forth, Small One, do as your brother and rip from his mind! Small One, stay back, and protect your brother!"

Deth again winces as he feels a part of his mind is ripped away. He then draws further power, the shadows dancing around him, making him hard to see. "so you plan to kill me with vermin?" He then throws out his arm, and hands, wielding knives crawl out of the shadows. The knight the attacks the ratkin.

Wincing as the knight closes in for the kill, Evan staggers back as he hits. His 'brethren' chittering away that they couldnt help their brother.

"That is kinda impressive."

Calling forth his mana, Evan causes the Sphere to grow darker, drawing more mana to himself, and says, "Come forth Large One! Your brethren shall be here to help you soon enough!"

Deth smiles grimly, as he draws even more power into himself. he then begins strange chant, and one of the smaller ones begins to rot. then, a flash of darkness, and 3 black clouds shoot out towards Evans' remaining brethren, which begin to glow a translucent black, one that doesn't seem quite like it belongs in this level of reality, and Evan is given a green balance of the same color and a dark voice rings out .


CHOOSE

After his choice, Deth motions for everything he has, to attack.


OOC: Can't regenerate sacing something
OOC2: After this, turn over.

OOC: got it, in which case, can I decide not to have attacked with the bats? if not,I'll just edit.

OOC: Ok, so the bat is dead?

"Swarm! Protect my brother!"
OOC: Tapping Swarmyard to regenerate the one you targeted with krovikan rot.

"Sorry brothers, but i must choose. Small one, begone!"
OOC: Sacced other Ravenous Rats.

OOC: Taking turn

"I am sorry brothers, but hopefully your deaths will not have been in vain."

The swarm Evan summoned before seems to get larger, sweeling with power.

"Come forward, Large One, and join your litter mate!"

OOC: OK
OOC2: I also attacked. Did you take the 5 damage? I'm going to assume you did.
Deth watches in satisfaction as Evan plays the rats. He then gathers more power, and again everything goes dark. This time, All three of evan's creatures are clocked in the sinsiter aura, and Evan holds an equal amount of balances. the voice rings out

CHOOSE

This time, it seems to have a sarcastic tone of voice, but you could have simply imagined it. Then, after Evan's choice, he motions for his creatures to again attack.

OOC3: No regenerating saced creatures
OOC4: I increased my spell cap when I leveled up, but if any problems, i put away sai, draw it next turn. If I can't, I just don't use the sai this series of turns.
OOC5: is that game?

Raising his paws, Evan hangs his head low, in resignation."Sorry, my brethren. I failed you."

"That was a good match, Deth was it? Let us see if our other companion has joined the house and is ready to renew our previous discussion, shall we?" Evan heads out of the Arena Circle, going slowly enough that Deth could keep up.

I agree. When you grow just a bit, and get some more of your brothers I will be uninclined to look for a fight agenst you. With that, deth heads back to house shimia.

The judge quickly cleaned up the mess from their fight as the two combatants left, the victor clear to all.
