I didn't get to work on my character at all yesterday, and I'm not sure how much I'll be able to work on it today. (working + plenty of work to do around the house yesterday. working today)
I'll post my character if I finish today of course, but I think it's likely I won't get done until tomorrow. Even if I finish my character today, I'll be gone the rest of the day, so I won't be appearing in any gameplay thread until tomorrow regardless.
EDIT: Finished everything but gear buying and bio stuff. Sorry it's taking so long, but I never play spell casters and the options overwhelm me.
Looks like we're just waiting for bios to get done. Cool beans.
Oh and you all still need to discuss how your characters know each other. Meeting on the boat over seems like the easiest solution, but it's up to you.

Your character needs to have a basic backstory. As a level one character, he's new to the whole "adventurer" thing, so it doesn't have to be particularly detailed.
Giga's bio is at about the right level. A little bit of background, how your character came to be adventuring, and a few people he knows.

Trained as a warrior and as a skald, Tiran got tired of the day in-day out violence of his home country. He still relished battle, but it was difficult to find the beauty and honour of it when it was nearly a daily occurence. His people were so warlike that everything centred around prowess, and it was far too much akin to an orcish wartribe for Tiran's liking. So he has taken up wandering, to see exotic lands and exotic foes. He hopes eventually to become worldy and come back to his homeland in an effort to make their lives more meaningful.
Tiran is tall, strong, and hardy, but he is far from a savage. He lacks the highest degree of martial prowess that his kinsmen posess, but Tiran has a strong spirit, and is able to envigourate his companions with that spirit through his poetics and his ancestral horn. Every battle is a grand story; more lessons are learned and emotions explored on the field of battle than anywhere else for the skald. As a result, Tiran will not flee easily, attempting to coax victory out of near defeat, for the victory won by the hair on your chin is all the more glorious.
I have finished the Bio, I have decided that in order to keep the tradition of me playing bizarre characters Cale shall behave like Fluttershy from MLP.

Call me old fashioned, but an evil ascension to power just isn't the same without someone chanting faux Latin in the background.

But the brony effect is something i just dont get.
@Caex: Nah you'll most definitely kill the character but you wont get anywhere near to what ASA did

I've been talking to KoolKoal over PMs pretty consistently. He requested some background info about the part of the world his character is from. Hopefully this means he'll be done with his character soon.

yeah, I've been a bit busy and having trouble getting inspiration for a backstory plus spending money on non-weapons and armor always feels like a chore.
Thinking I'm just going to purchase scrolls and buy adventuring equipment in town if necessary, and I've got my backstory figured out.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.

I guess I'll have a spear. One of the few weapons I can actually see myself using in combat, especially at these early stages where I don't have many spells.

Waiting on a bit of info from Caex before I get my bio written up. The main themes is he's from noble birth but is more of a free spirit than one would expect from the highborn.

@Sep: I'm not exactly sure what a Fluttershy is. I just hope I can traumatize the MLP out of your character.
