Yeah, it can be easy to get confused, especially with trying to do things online versus with the books in front of you. 500 hit points and 24 in intelligence is just a little outside of the ballpark (at level six my Barbarian barely broke 70 hit points.)
Caex how do you have such a great melee attack bonus and why is your weapon dmg +5?
How do I get such glory?
I also see you are like me in liking to be a bit of a jack of all trades and have an item for just about everything.
lol, I feel like my character is going to be horribly unprepared. Her idea of an item for just about everything is a greataxe.
Solves most every problem.
I am also curious though about his great attack bonuses and stuff. I've got a +1 on each of my masterwork swords and am debating making the axe masterwork as well, but even then... With a high attack rating, I still don't see the numbers hitting his crit ratio.
Caex has a +5 BaB, with a +1 magical bonus, adding dex to hit with weapon finesse (+2)... I'm missing where the remaining +1 comes from but my vision is really blurry right now. As for damage, +1 from the enchantment and he adds his INT to damage (+4) with the insightful strikes swashbuckler class feature. He has gone down the surefire path of adding ability scores to things, which is usually a good thing.
My old books were stolen about 2 years ago... So all I have now is the interwebz and a stoner's memory to try and figure out what I am doing. lol
I suggest using the pointbuy system. In this thread Talore posted a tool you can use to do it. Basically you get every stat to start at 8, you get 32 points to spend to increase them, but every time you increase a stat it costs more points to make it go up by one (so for example, 8 to 9 costs one point, 9 to 10 costs two points, ect.)
As far as your hit points go, you are playing a Wizard, they get D4 health. Since you are a level 6, that means you get an automatic 4 health, and then roll a D4 five more times, add all of that up and that is your health.
I am not sure you calculated your HP correct still tripp. While possible to have 24, a max HP possible is 30 for you with your con mod. Did you roll or just take 4hp/lvl?
That is incredibly dishonest of you to make five separate posts, deleting the former because you didn't like the rolls. I don't really want you in this game anymore.

Basically what Talore said. Swashbuckler not only has great flavor, but it's a very useful class mechanically speaking. If only I had a high strength modifier, I could be doing tons of damage. But the Daring Outlaw perk makes up for it pretty well. I'm going to lose out on base attack bonus progression in the coming levels unfortunately because I'm going to be going into a prestige class, so that'll suck a bit.
The attack bonus was too high by one, though. My character's original version had a higher dexterity score but I decided to invest more in intelligence for flavor purposes.
Lots of items, too. I find that people tend to dismiss one-shot items or once-a-day items, but I'd rather be prepared for anything and always have an answer to get me out of sticky situations.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p

I'm partial to this method of itemization as well. 1/day items and similar are a lot cheaper than items usable at will, and you have class abilities and feats that mean you won't need these abilities at-will. They are great for when your baseline skills won't cut it, or other sticky situations like BBEG fights. Funny enough I think Skyrim beat that into my mind more than anything. Savvy players can obtain utility and durability far beyond their abilities and raw statistics with creative and thoughtful itemization.
I also take this mentality with me when I give NPCs items too, so on the upside you might find a bit more useful items than normal compared to raw stats like +X weapons. On the downside, it means that opponents are more versatile and generally know how to use their items
No worries.

Indeed. Look at a lot of the items I have. Will I ever need Verminbane? Possibly not, but for 20gp and 1lb it seems like a bargain. Scale that up a notch. Healing Potions are not cheap. A Healing Belt is IMO the most unbalanced item in the game. For 750gp you get a personal cleric that recharges daily. At lower levels it is unbelievably useful. I highly recommend we all buy one as there is no healer in our party. I think that wizards did drop the ball on a lot of the balancing for certain items/abilities and, unfortunately if you ask me, you can abuse that to an extent. Crystals are so much cheaper than the magical enhancement equivalent of it. Why bother taking a feat to increase a single save by 2 when I can buy a Vest of Resistance +2 for 4000gp gives me +2 to everything? I recommend you buy a Restful Crystal Scott as well. Nothing sucks worse than being a tank and having a midnight encounter where you wake up with no armour on and it takes 5min (an entire combat essentially) to don. For 500gp the effect is well worth it.
For our two other players what are your alignments? Am I going to be the only evil member of our party? I grin at the prospects.
Well damn, that'll teach me to go to class/bed. I missed all the fun it seems.
I haven't even considered the items, so if anyone has suggestions of what a Barbarian should have, or what they think I should have, I am open to them. I have my weapons and armor picked out, just need supplies worked out.
Chaotic Good is my alignment. She's a Barbarian, but she's essensially good, as far as her own moral code goes anyway. She believes in doing the right thing, but doesn't believe in being weak. Seems you will be the only evil member with Tripp dropping out, heh. Should be an interesting interaction, though I feel like when things like that come up I need logical reasons as to why we are working together, otherwise the entire thing just falls apart for me.
EDIT: Also is anyone ranged? I only ask because my character is, at least at this stage in her design, melee only, but I could make her more ranged oriented if no one else is toating around a bow or some other ranged implement.

Maybe it is imbalanced but it isn't broken in any way. Just useful for durability.

Sorry for a lack of activity on my part - I had a test yesterday, I have been swamped between homework, work, and my kid, which has slowed me down a little. I am still interested in doing this, though, and wanted to get that out there lol.
Not trying to be pushy but any word from our other players/dm?
Is this game about to fizzle into oblivion?
Eh, probably. I thought I could do this, but... I am just going to have to back out for now. I am really sorry, I just don't know if I have the head for it right now. Sorry guys.

But that would mean you got perfect on every HP roll to have 24HP. Did that happen?
