Brodi starts skipping ahead of the rest, still lost about where he was or what he was doing. Somewhere in the back of his mind, though, he felt he needed to be here, in the midst of an upcoming chaos...
"Alright team," Julia began, trying to take the role of a leader. "We've got 23 hours until even more people go insane. We need to follow this things trail and kill it before that happens."
Julia began concentrating on a way to track the demon, holding her sword out in front of her.
"Well, that's just silly, Julia. Wasn't it on horseback or something? I mean, I'm guessing these hoofprints right here-" Brodi brushed his foot over them "-lead somewhere. Let's just follow them."
The hoofprints lead far into the woods. Off of the path. In the distance they can hear the sounds of animals. A distant "moo" and horse whinney can be heard behind them. The sound is getting louder and it is heading in the direction of the hoof prints
OOC Sorry, didn't see that.
Julias sword shook and she mindlessly traced the patturns with her hands. Above her head an arrow of mist appeared. It pointed in the direction of the hoofprints but a little bit more to the left
"We need to follow the direction of this arrow. It appears to be following the footprints. The disallignment is most likely from an uneven path traveled by the horse."
Once again... the forest is shelter...
The path, yet only a path by name, lead them through the woods a ways. The animal noises were still behind them getting louder, yet they stopped getting louder once they reached a point just out of their sight. The party kept walking, ignoring the animal intruders until they reached a river bank, where the hoove prints vanished. The arrow still showed the direction
Julia held her sword up and began concentrating again. "Man, I've got to stop this, I'm relying too much on this magic." She privately thought. She began thinking of a bridge. An ordinary plank bridge.
A lone messenger on horseback was riding with haste toward Delvenport...

" I came to them in a flock of ravens that filled a northern sky at dawn...
Magic shall be written upon the sky by the rain but they shall not be able to read it;
Magic shall be written on the faces of the stony hills but their minds shall not be able to contain it..."
@Party, Julia's sword shook in her hand and she mindlessly traced the simbols in the air, A bridge meterialized in front of them leading across the river, it wasn't very wide, nor was it made of wood, but it WAS a bridge.
@Tipsy, The messenger reached one of the rivers near town to find a small group of people and a magical bridge across.
"Well, it appears we can cross now." Julia smiled with pride, but remembered that it was the magic that had done it, not her. "Everytime I do this, I drain a little, so let's keep moving." She begins to cross the thin bridge.
"Yeah, I suppose. I guess I don't want to die or anything."

Brodi put the clock away.
"Wasn't something supposed to happen at 5:00? Did we not realize what just happened? Oh wait!..."
Brodi smacked himself on the head.
"It was just 5:00 an hour ago! That's why the head dude was casting that crazy spell! Man, we got a long time to wait to find this '5:00' demon."
