"isn't that what we came here for?" Lash said as she started to climb down the hatch, Jade, now just a green blur, darted down the hatch to see what was at the bottom first
Elesor screamed at the flying beasts. "Take me!!!" He pumped his fist in the air and waved it. "I said take me!!! I know you're sentient beings! Take me and I will give you Solgard on a silver platter!"

" I came to them in a flock of ravens that filled a northern sky at dawn...
Magic shall be written upon the sky by the rain but they shall not be able to read it;
Magic shall be written on the faces of the stony hills but their minds shall not be able to contain it..."
For Feenix and Jade, the place was pitch black, save the light filtering through the opening they had just found. It was very cold, as a chill rushed by both the hatchling and the Icarii. It looked like the passage went down in two directions, one heading north, and the other heading south. Either direction was too dark to see. Lash soon found his way down the ladder.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Elesor cried out to the skies, and the wind seemed to pick up. He heard the shrill screaming on the air, and prepared to be taken. instead, a heavy woosh went by his head, and he heard the whispering blow by his ear. Elesor was surprised to hear that this was in old impish dialect, this time...
"Iiiimmm... pheeaann... aaahhh..."
The creatures spoke his language? What indeed was going on here?
The magic was tickling his senses; the magic was heavy on the air, but the creatures... not of magic? Elesor could not sense them. Elesor licked his lips at the taste of the energies, but there was something bitter, foul, acrid to the taste of it. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before. Elesor turned around to find one of the creatures standing before him, towering almost two man lengths above him. An eyeless horror stood screaming into the sky, its four lanky arms flailing about as his wings were spread in beastial glory. The face did not look at Elesor, well a warning that if his life were to have been ended, the creature would silently be screaming at him, and his soul would be lost to the insanity.
Suddenly, the door to the Solustarus burst open a hundred meters away, as the two groups of Solus Guardians split up and made headway for their destinations.
"Ok, light would be nice" she said and then started singing. An orb of light appeared in both of her hands. She gave one to jade, who stuck it in her mouth and held the other one. "I take it you don't need a light" She said as she went north and Jade went south Don't get lost now the words were sung to Jade "Don't worry, I won't lose myself" Jade answered back
Lash looked bemused, and decided to follow the green hatchling, perhaps giving the youngling a lesson in wisdom. Following the infant, the Gold moved with some headway as they travelled down the south passage.
"So, little one. How is it that an Icarii came into possession of your egg? There has not been a green in history that I have known to form such a bond with any species outside their own."
They went down further as Feenix followed the north path. She soon came to a T-junction, but did notice some torches that lined the hallway walls.
Elesor was quite shocked once more, and merely stood there. Slowly, rage boiling inside him, he ran for the creature, charging.

The Creature did not hesitate, and screamed his silent rage and psychosis at Elesor. The imp stopped, and looked befuddled. He was about to attack that creature, but there was something else he needed to do... Like sit on a rock and think about the future. He was quiet, and screaming, and it all made sense in a twisted sort of way. It was sane insanity, beautiful, horrific, violent, peaceful--
--Elesor heard those voices before, but it was like he was flying anyway, flying away as pins and needles stuck from his eyes, and as if a force beyond recognition was peeling away his skin, setting fire to the flesh underneath... the pain was release..."
----------------
As the Captain left the Solustarus, He saw the Golox, and prepared his men to fire when he noticed the imp at the mercy of the beast. It had locked onto Elesor, and was screaming its silent scream of death. He ordered his men to check their fire, and follow him to the East, towards the Training Grounds. His other detachment went west, to provide protection and discover the fate of the Solutar and the Secretoria. None watched as the Golox picked up Elesor and started its massacre of the Imp. Its two free arms began to cut and rip into the man's flesh, and when the beast was finally done, it let go of its prey.
[Yup, I did. I needed him to die, in order for the Imps to come here. I shall have my vengence. :p]

A sudden awareness. Floating in an abbysal state of confusion the young child awoke. She could think, for all Icarii babys could think. She could feel, yet all feeling was weak and numb. She knew she was safe yet didn't know how for she was lost in they darkness.
She reached out with her senses and felt another. This being was very close, she reached out and could feel it. It was alive and it reached back. who are you? I do not know a voice sang back. Are you lost too? I am. Yet I feel safe
A third voice entered the minds of these children You are awake. The voice sang. Who are you? I am your mother.
The three of them spent the rest of that day talking. The talked about the world, about life, and about death. About destany and about choices. Her father came home late that night. There was movement and a sudden stop, The young child could feel another presence now. Her father. Who are you? She asked the new person Why, your father of course. Her dad laughed and touched her mind.
The rest of the night her father sang to his children, teaching them songs of power and about the star dance.
Her life was perfect.
Weeks went by for her, the void was getting smaller and it was getting harder for her to move. Her mother never explaned what this meant.
One day her mother was outside walking in the woods. She had explaned this to her and her sibling before they left. It was almost night when her mother started to go into labor.
Noone was around, or so they thought.
Her mother was attacked, by who she doesn't know. But her mother died there in the woods and the void started to get cold.
Her last thoughts were that of mortal terror.
She died.
A familiar feeling came to the young child. It was a feeling of awareness. Life. How? She screamed with her mind, yet there was no answer. She opened her eyes for the first time to see the face of a wolf. It looked down on her with pity, she was covered in blood.
"Oh my gods" a voice cried from above the wolf. "She is alive"
It was her father.
He wiped off the blood from her and brought her back to the house.
"Feenix" He said. "your name is Feenix"
Feenix spent the next few years without the luxery of wings. She learnt more of the star dance and sang well with her dad.
When she was 12 she started to go out alone, her wings were developed and she wanted to explore Delvenport. The forests were inviting to her, she spent alot of her time there playing with creatures of the wild.
This was the time she discovered her talent. Feenix coudl speak to animals.
Most creatures in the wood were friendly to a humanoid that could speak to them. She spent most of her time in the forest philosophising with Eagles, Chatting with Raccoons, and flying with the birds. Each jaunt through the wood she would get farther and farther away from home.
One day she got lost. She was in a part of the forest about 16 miles northwest of Delvenport, or so she thought. She fell through a hole in the forest floor into a strange room, it was a cave, yet it was made by someone, or something. It looked as if it had been abbandoned or lost. In the center of what looked like a gigantic nest was an emerald Egg. Help me...
The voice sounded desperate Anyone? Please!
It was growing frantic
She went up to it and picked it up Don't worry, Im here for you. she said to the strange egg.
The voice went away and the egg felt calm. Feenix tucked it into her sack and flew back to the surface. She was still lost but now had a companion to journy with. A dragon companion.
She never did make it back home that night. She spent this one with the forest and kept moving to the northeast. She would spend a few weeks in a town and move on. Icarii usually wernt that welcome so she would have to cover her wings at times. It was a few years later that Feenix and her dragon friend came upon the city of Solgard.
Feenix reached the T and went to her right. Found a fork in the path She said to Jade. "Ok, Ill be sure to keep you posted."
Lash and the youngling also came to a bend in the road, This one truly forking. One path branched off to the left, while the other went to the right.
Feenix continued right down her path, Her glowing ball keeping a faint light in the passage way. The halls were overgrown with foliage and roots growing through cracks and openings of the once smooth and ornate walls. Now, this was a relic. It was old, smelled decrepid, and Feenix was prepared for anything. As she went further, she came to a room. She couldn't see much further beyond the light of her globe, but it seemed a pretty decent size room. She found the starting of a string of torches that probably lined the walls. If she could light them...
Its times like now that I wish I had some fire breath...though I don't think green dragons breath fire...Hmmmm. She trailed off for a moment
"and what would you need fire for?" Oh...sorry, I found a bunch of torches along the wall. "Well, you can probally sing some fire can't you?" I think so...
She sang a song she used to heat food and boil water and aimed it at the torch.
When Jade and Lash reached the hallway Jade looked to Lash, "so, left or right?...Hmmm I say left." Jade started down the left passageway
