Alright, so lets say your commander is Riku of Two Reflections. Combo commander, to be sure, but lets push this into the realm of absurd. You cast Palinchron and do your Riku thing to make infinite mana because we're going to need it. Forget about your extra Palinchron tokens. A million flying 4/5s is boring. So now you cast Enter the Infinite, because drawing your deck is important. Follow it up with a Obstinate Familiar because not decking yourself is equally important. Laboratory Maniac could work here too, but we're gonna go some more levels deep. Cast a Greater Good because we want a tasteful sac outlet. Follow this up with Parallel Lives, Doubling Season,Copy Enchantment, Clever Impersonator, Mycosynth Latice, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Copy Artifact giving you 6 double token effects. Here's where it gets fun now. Cast a Reef Worm. Sac it to greater good and get 256 Fish, which you sac to get 65,536 whales, which you sac to get 16,777,216 Krakens. Are we done yet? Nope! Cast Thromok the Insatiable, devouring all your krakens to make a 281,474,976,710,656/281,474,976,710,656 Thromok. Where do we go from here though? Let your opponent cast Death Mutation on him! Why, that's 7.20575940x10^16 tokens! Good thing we have Body Double to make another Thromok the Insatiable who will be a 5.19229686x10^33/5.19229686x10^33! Seems big enough, but not for us! Since we're red anyways, lets cast a Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods, and a Fire Servant! Now it's time to Fling your guy, dealing a spicy 4.15383749x10^34 damage to your opponent. To put that in perspective, there are an estimated 3x10^23 stars in the known universe. You dealt more damage than there are stars. That'll give your opponent something to think about. PROTIP: Dodge Spellskite decks
This guy, would either eat up several turns worth of mana to get a slow permanent that relies on your already have some board presence (after wasting said mana), or dies without generating any advantage.
It is our business because he is a public figure in the magic community and the people have a right to know that he's a scumbag.
Everyone already knows what happened. LSV put up a post stating exactly what happened between Tristan and the rest of CFB. He stole from them and that's that. What happens now is up to them. If anyone at my LGS says "So you heard about Tristan?" I'll say "Yeah, He stole". He's got a black mark now, he will not be employeed with any respectable magic-related site, store or anything of that kind. What more is there to discuss?

Ah yes, magic's greatest explorer. That wasn't really surprising though considering he had raised some suspicion from the start. It was more frustrating than surprising because he had already won a playset of the power 9, and was allowed to keep it despite him cheating.

Neither. I'm a person that understands that this is ****ty enough for LSV and CFB without a million people prying and speculating about their business
agreed but however, TSG is/was a part of the magic community and was voted by some to the community cup. So of course it will be discussed by said community.

Trust me LSV and CFB want us discussing it. If not they wouldn't have said the reason behind it. They would have just mentioned that they weren't seeing eye to eye any longer and were parting ways. That is how these things work. LSV posted what he posted to lash out and hit TSG where it hurt, the community who embraces him so they will no longer do so. So if you don't like reading about it noone is forcing you to do so. TSG is a thief and we are discussing it because I don't want him near my belongings if he happens to show his face at an event.
So...the case is still ongoing guys. His account could have been hacked. TSG just doesn't seem like the type to do this. Why isn't he responding to CF's attempts to contact him? Because his lawyer told him not to. I love how flippant people are about black balling a person without knowing the whole truth or waiting until the person has been PROVEN guilty.

Not only that, but he's saying that someone stole 200 cards from CFB and then hacked TSG's account to sell them and then funnel the money from TSG's account to their own.

Asking people to remove quotes in their signatures is tyranny! If I can't say something just because someone's feelings are hurt then no one would ever be able to say anything! Political correctness is stupid.
My heart just sunk. After Kibler and LSV respectively, TSG was my favorite pro/public figure. I'm literally speechless. Like coyotemoon722 said, I can only wait this out until he is proven guilty, but it doesn't look too good for him (TSG not coyotemoon722). I truly hope it turns out he did not commit these crimes and that he returns as a respected part of the Magic community.

I like to live on earth, Where basic Laws of Physics and rules apply. What you are suggesting is someone performed the greatest heist ever conceived and I am imagining is now in Venice ordering expensive wine and lighting his cigar with a foil bonfire of the damned while letting out a small evil laugh to himself as he imagines TSG stateside... Furthermore to add to the ridiculousness of your theory I would like to suggest that the reason TSG isn't answering his phone has nothing to do with his lawyers but he is in fact an ex CIA operative, with a thirst for vengeance and a very particular set of skills. He has went underground to thwart his unexpecting villan.

Cool conspiracy theory, but back on Earth we all know that would never happen. I think the bigger issue is what's going to happen to Humphrey?
I'd like to hear his side of the story, but the evidence is pretty damn clear and I think LSV is to be trusted. It does kind of sadden me, though, because he was really becoming a face of the magic community and I liked the things he did to make channelfireball more than just a site for competitive magic.
Pretty sure there is no conspiracy here, I doubt CFB would've made such an announcement unless they were 100% sure... they are probably the most reputable unofficial MTG site on the interwebs and I'd doubt they'd post something like this based on loose facts.
Stealing is stealing.
I liked TSG and Magic TV was pretty awesome, will miss it.

If you don't wish to discuss it, there is always the option of not posting in this thread. Instead, you've chosen to post three times now in this thread about how you "don't think it should be discussed".
Channelfireball could have quietly severed ties with TSG, or even just mentioned that TSG would no longer be part of their team, with no explanation.
Instead, LSV decided to provide specific detail on the incident because he felt it was important for the MTG community to know about (which it is).

How is it impossible for someone to have stolen product, then hacked into Tristan's account? You know what you can do when you are on someones account? Change where the money goes. People are acting like it's some impossible feat to change the paypal account attached to an account.

Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
Guess he didn't make enough writing for CFB, stole cards from the inventory and was caught selling them on ebay.
