basicly what is means is they have been cut off from this set until wotc says they are all clear of charges. Since they are being nice and working with there customers. you have 3 option. refund, wait or get something else they have. Fom what i'm getting it's everything from the new set. not just boxes. so if you ordered a fat pack or something. look else where. buti could be wrong and it just dealing with boxes. i'd email them and ask about your order. also remember it's all about first come first serve. so it doesn't matter how many you order. if they don't have it they won't be sending it.
**** man that really blows, i even got the best price, 35 bucks. on ebay cheapest i have found is now 41 or so.
I just got back from the midnight flight in Kansas City and the guy across the table from me opened a white-bordered, definitely pre-used Taiga. He was the only one out of 120 people to open a Treasure card as far as I know. If only I'd sat on that side.
Going to bed for a few hours then back to play the lotto again in the morning!

I can confirm. This sucks more than a homosexual vampire. I paid 80 bucks for those boxes, and I doubt that I will have another opportunity.
son of a .....
yeah i got the email, too, as i had won a preorder auction from captain collect (apparently same person/biz as cardkid). $80...now it looks like i won't likely be getting one at all....awesome.
somebody's about to have an assload of negative feedback!
edit: on 2nd thought, i hope this isn't some stupid mass email scam....
Hey guys, the thread in the Rumor Mill has already been completely derailed by the Cardkid stuff. Can we at least keep this thread on topic for people who are just interested in seeing reports of what priceless treasures are opened at prereleases this weekend?
The chances of opening these "treasures" are very rare from reports that I have read, comments on these boards, and from other sources.
If it was 1 - 2 of these per box, I would worry about product being hoarded, but at 1 per 20 boxes as per initial speculation, dealers and store owners would be pretty stupid to sit on the product and not move it while the hype is there. The chances of getting one doesn't justify the concerns.

Remember that it's a game. Play, be competitive, and have fun.
i haven't read anything posted before the post before this one, but just to confirm after getting back from my midnight prerelase in the KC area in the US, there was a Revised Taiga, which I personally seen and held, (and supposedly) a Black Lotus, set unknown, and an Ancestral Recall, also which set is unknown. from what I've heard, judges have been notified that this may happen here and there, and the chances are 1 pack out of every 700 or so. when a player is lucky enough to crack the "treaures" surprizingly released in zendikar, in draft for example, they get to take the card + their pick, since they card is not playable in a standard environment. again, this all came from a judge.

ok, after reading a bit, i seen someone else was there to, and seen the guy pull the Taiga!!
Wait, so does this mean that stores might not hold prereleases with all of the cardkid stuff, or is that just individuals buying boxes/etc?
Just individuals. Most legit card shops buy from distributors.

The only good thing about this post is the edible chocolate roaches they gave out! Mmm mmm!
*crawl crawl*
Wait a minute, edible roaches don't crawl! EDIBLE ROACHES DON'T CRAWL!
Just want to set things right, no we did not opened a Mishra Workshop in one of the pre-release in Malaysia, but a spring mishra factory.. the condition is quite bad (i'll say EX- as i see bends on the card)..
As far as i know, the condiction of most of these "treasures" opened are quite "played"...
This is awesome. I think it's silly that there is a reserved list and such low #'s of legacy and vintage players. They rationalize not crapping on people who own old cards by crapping on block after block of type 2 players. Nice to see WotC finally look out for the people that buy their cards year after year. Maybe this will become the future trend?

Sorry but that's just about the dumbest argument I've ever heard. From what people have been saying, it sounds like Wizards got these cards off the secondary market since some people have said they've looked played, either that or some person brought their own cards in as a joke. It's not like Wizards is actually reprinting these cards.
More Kansas City news. 2 more flights this morning so far and no more treasure. So out of 184 players x 6 boosters = 1104 packs = 30+ boxes there has been 1 treasure card.

Columbus OH, a Swords to Plowshares was pulled about 5 hours into the day. Set unknown. its what the head judge said. He also announce that a beta sinkhole was pulled from another state. He said there was another card from another state got pulled, but I forget what it was, nothing huge.
Sounds VERY rare to get a card.

I think a couple were pulled at the DC area event in Bethesda. A guy a few seats from me got a Scrubland, not sure if it was Revised or Unlimited - I don't what the other cards pulled were.

Strange... and some people supposedly got 2 in a box... I hope they're a little more common than 1/1000 packs. =)

can you explain this train of thought?
Basic lands are exceedingly scarce, I guess. Start hoarding your Swamps once the prices for the old cards drop as they 'flood' the market.
