I'd say "probably not". Since the deck struggles with card draw as is, the best way to play the cards is in higher multiples of 3 and 4 for more reliable draw odds. A single of anything probably wouldn't be too effective. Note that things like a 5th removal or discard don't really fit here. An equipment might also mess with the curve for everything faeries has to do, but that's not as big of a deal.
I think we've already covered some of this stuff while discussing basilisk collar.
if there was going to be a random equipment card added it would be basalisk collar (infinate bitterblossom removal+lifegain which is why warhammer was played as it dominated the mirror)
So I scrubbed out in the GP going 3-3. I did however manage to top 8 the almost 300 man PTQ the next day with a tweaked list, deciding to jack a little ChannelFireball tech after seeing them all do so well with it on day one. For the PTQ my list was:
This configuration has tested very well. It lowers the curve slightly and adds another land to combat the man lands. I have brought spreading seas in but I never felt comfortable tapping low early to use it and that is when it is most useful. So it only comes in against some of the various 3 colour faerie decks in my meta.
I like sower better on the draw, and glen elendra better on the play. On the draw you are more likely to be behind in the game and need a card to get you back in it. On the play you are more likely to be ahead and need cards to keep you there. Also Sower is only really good if they have Scions, or Nighthawks I suppose.
From reading articles it seems Channel Fireball could never figure out if Nighthawk was good(enough?) for the mirror and in the end I think it was excluded from their sideboarding plans. I still like them because it gives you another tool to win games where your opponent has Bitterblossom and you don't. After work I'll come back and post my current list + sideboarding plans. If anyone is going to the PTQ in Philly this weekend let me know, I would love to hook up and try to predict the metagame/how to appropriately tweak our lists
Isn't Wurmcoil worth against mirror? They play with Go for the Throat, so, late game, it will probably turn the game to your favor. And Mistbind isn't good? Or you are afraid of having few fae in play?

Trophyless guy.
Thought of the Month: I gave up from trying to require the 'i' on my name: SolesticIo
I'm thinking of running phyrexian crusader in the board for red and naya matchups. Against red, he turns off everything but burn to the dome and against naya he is immune to their removal and shuts down anything but VV.

[center]The best combo in Modern is now unbanned, yay!!!
Remember that you can't ever attack with him for profit.
Edit: Nighthawk seems way way better.
It's odd, I am playing Phyrexian Crusader over Vampire Nighthawk in my Standard JunkBlade sideboard(http://www.02drop.com/strategy/damage-control-what-is-this-junk/) (a few changes have been made since then), but in Faeries I agree Nighthawk is better. The life gain is so important. As is having flying and dealing regular damage like the rest of our team when switching from defense to offense.
I am super happy with my anti-aggro plan. I have 6 real removal spells maindeck(no Peppersmokes) which allows me to run a creature-centric sideboard that has been performing great for me. What you take out does depend on which aggro variant your facing but a good starting point is :
-3 Mana Leak, -4 Thoughtseize, -1 Inquisition of Kozilek, -3 Vendilion Clique, -1 Mistbind Clique
+3 Wall of Tanglecord, +3 Vampire Nighthawk, +2 Sower of Temptation, +2 Massacre Wurm, +1 Wurmcoil Engine, +1 Tectonic Edge
I am running the 5th Discard spell and the 3rd Vendilion Clique main instead of the 2 Scions I had last time I played the deck. The extra discard spell is just as good againt Faeries and much better against Scapeshift. The 3rd Clique is strictly for Scapeshift but is an all around good card and does a fine job against any deck really.
I'm still running only 3 Spellstutter Sprites and 3 Mana Leaks main so I have a couple extra hard counters in the sideboard to gain my edge back against Scapeshift, the Mirror, and Control decks.
I think most people that aren't playing Peppersmoke are running 4 Go for the Throat 2 Disfigure. However Disfigure has always been so good for me that I want 3. Costing 1 mana is huge. Being able to kill their 2 drop and leave up counterspell mana on turn 3 can be crucial.
The only thing I feel like I may be a little weak to is a Faeries list heavily tuned to beat the mirror. But in my experience the mirror is more draw and play skill dependent than anything so I prefer to keep my deck as solid as possible against the rest of the field.
Against the mirror I would probably go:
-3 Vendilion Cliques, -2 Mistbind Clique, - 2 Disfigure, -1 Go for the Throat
+3 Vampire Nighthawk, +2 Sower of Temptation, +1 Tectonic Edge, +1 Spell Pierce, +1 Deprive
Now it all depends if they are playing Scions, and if they are bringing in Sowers or Nighthawks. If they don't then I would rather have spot removal over Sowers so i can hit man lands. In general I think 3 removal spells/Tectonic Edges is all I want against Faeries unless I see Nighthawks/Sowers/Scions. I don't think cutting all 4 Mistbind Cliques is correct. Especially if your playing trumps like Jace, Sower, and Nighthawk. Being able to Mana Short them EOT is still important enough for me to want to leave a couple in.
Against Scapeshift:
U/G with Oracles
-3 Go for the Throat,-1 Disfigure
+1 Tectonic Edges, +1 Spell Pierce, +1 Deprive, +1 Flashfreeze
Wargate
-3 Disfigure, -1 Go for the Throat
+1 Tectonic Edges, +1 Spell Pierce, +1 Deprive, +1 Flashfreeze
You can take out the other 2 removal spells for 2 Vampire Nighthawks if you want. The removal spells I leave in change because they play different creatures. R/G is probably playing Vexing Shusher too so I have to take out 1 non removal spell. Jace, Mistbind, or even a Bitterblossom are all fine really. I think Jace is probably the worst against them though.
How is Massacre Wurm working for you? I can't see it being better then Wurmcoil Engine in any MU in which you'll bring it. (don't say the mirror, because it won't resolve)

Things I've said about Massacre Wurm(which is why I didnt go into further detail in my last post):
"So instead of running Black Sun's Zenith or other board sweepers I've upped the defensive creature count from 2-3 to 6 (3 Wall of Tanglecord, 3 Vampire Nighthawk) plus 2 Sower of Temptations. Instead of having to completely transform into a control deck like you do with Wurmcoil Engine, you can continue to play the tempo game, stalling with Wall of Tanglecord’s and trading damage/racing with Vampire Nighthawks until Massacre Wurm comes online and absolutely blows them out. With Wurmcoil Engine you're mainly just trying to survive until you can play it and hope it's enough to take over the game. This plan is more proactive, aggressive, and ultimately more successful, IMHO of course.
Massacre Wurm, like Grave Titan can't be truly appreciated until you've played with or against it. Most people overlook the fact that the opponent continues to lose 2 life every time a creature dies even after the initial Massacre. Massacre Wurm isn't better than Grave Titan, it's different. In a pure control deck I'd still take Grave Titan or Wurmcoil every time, but in an aggro/aggro-control deck where it top your curve and the damage is relevant it is unreal good. I'll be surprised if it doesn't catch on and you don't start seeing it in MODO dailies etc."
Also people know about Wurmcoil Engine. They have their Deglamers ready. People don't know about not overextending into Massacre Wurm. They don't know they need to chump block the first or 2nd attack from your Cliques. Wurmcoil Engine is still better in some situations, definately against RDW and probably against Jund, IF they don't have the Deglamer. That's why i went with the 2/1 split. I recommend you give it a try.
Isn't Wurmcoil worth against mirror? They play with Go for the Throat, so, late game, it will probably turn the game to your favor. And Mistbind isn't good? Or you are afraid of having few fae in play?
You just can't count on resolving sorcery speed six drops against Faeries.
And about Mistbind, yes you do usually side out your Vendilion Cliques, IF you have Scions you don't really want to sacrifice them, Mutavaults are important to have in play, and you can't always depend on Bitterblossom when your facing 4-6 discard spells. So it's OK, it can even be good if it resolves since it likely to be the largest creature on the battlefield. However even instant speed 4 drops are difficult to resolve, they still get chump blocked by BB tokens all day long, and there is a reasonable chance Faeries will be able to Peppersmoke your only token in response forcing you to Champion BB while drawing a card which is a total blowout. Obviously you can play around these situations but it costs you a lot of tempo and you cant have a hand full of Mistbind Cliques while your opponent draws a bunch of cheap discard spells/counterspells/Bitterblossom or you will fall way too far behind. I think taking out 1 or 2 is correct.
So things didn't go my way yesterday but SoFaF were in almost ALL of the Faerie decks. That little piece of tech caught fire quick. I ran 1 maindeck over a Disfigure. A lot of people ran 2. Just some info for ya.

It's decent, because if your opponent is playing them, it acts like removal alongside it's disruption.
