I like firespout because it comes down to kill fae and kills all of mythic and G/W trap mana dorks and kills gaddock teeg.
Understandably so, but unless you are running Vivids to support 4 colors, you don't want to rely on a sideboard splash in a 3 color deck to counter a couple of lists when the tools are already in front of you to do so more efficiently and without having to worry about getting an opener that contains a firespout and no red source. A figure of destiny paired with Fauna Shaman and BBE don't really care if you have red mana or not, they are attacking you. And if you don't have a consistent measure to stop the early brutal damage, then you are not in a great position.
Path to Exile will absolutely kill that figure of destiny on turn 2, right when they pump him up and waste a turns worth of momentum. Day of Judgment will wipe out all of those pesky mana dorks, and in trap they won't even have a gaddock to save them from the situation without stopping them from being able to progress through the game either. And if you really need to, then bring in the 1 CMC elf that spikes all but one faerie in the entire list out of the sky all at once. These are just so much more effective at doing what you need to get done without jeopardizing consistency, which is key in my opinion.

again i think with inferno titan and firespout it works so much better then going on a 1 for 1 trade with Teeg or any creatures for that instance which is what PtE does.

Alright, well as long as testing has prevailed for you I won't criticize your card choices lol.
And in other news, I'm building up a really wonky list that runs off of the same principle as old style Spread Em'. It's just a wonky idea my gf came up with, but it sounds like it might be viable after thought.
With a 4 color set up, you can still run some simplistic control setup, but run 4x Prismatic Omens, 4x Primeval Titan, 4x Scapeshift and aside from that some basic essentials to a control deck. We are also considering running Wargate in the list, because as a cascade it would ramp, which it ramps into the right land. Odd, but it might work right?

i dont know whats up with recent decklists or w/e but scapeshift is awesome game 1. i run 3 and its easy to win game one like that. i side 2 out game 2. it wins. especially when they dont have enchantment hate. get some
I have been playing with the land base a lot. I am testing out 3 bosks and 3 maelstrom pulse in main board. I switched out the doj for them.
I have also been testing lotus cobra as a two of in the main board. If you can get it out turn 2 it leads to a fantastic turn 3.
t1 murmurring bosk
t2 island cobra
t3 misty rainforest, add blue
sac misty, find a forest, add a blue
use one forest and a blue, explore
play valakut, add a green.
cultivate, find a forest in play and island into hand add blue
preordain
or you could prismatic omen and explore. or anything really... i have been able to wargate for 2 on t3 to help get the omen out.

Even the U/G one is hard to pilot and loosely based on luck. Reading the snippet for Mathias' last game made me sad when I realized that it is still lacking in consistency.

wargate is still a great card because it acts a a fetch-all for the deck, where the U/G version just has to find one of the 4 omens to do anything, where with wargate we have omens 5-8 and the removal/counterspells to by time, thus we have more cars to set up the combo.

Looking at the feature matches he got really lucky winning. Against Jund he ripped Scapeshift both times after being sent to top deck mode. Also losing Leyline of Sanctity seems awful.
it seems like a waste of slots to run leyline any more, it seems better to play more scapeshift and ramp, leyline just sucks if not in opening hand. also top lists from atl and modo dailys leyline is gone.

I am looking into the UG list, has anybody tested it? And if they have, is Oracle worth it? I understand the card is good, but it seems like a Lightning Rod
I play Oracle in Standard and it can just run away with the game, but against any deck with removal it will give you two lands (aka Cultivate) and eats removal.

It's more like a 4 mana Cultivate at it's worst and even then it's a little better if you play your additional land from the top.
