That said, what Unearth guys are you really desperate to Blink?
Stuff like Extractor Demon, where it is a real dick move to continually bring it back. Hellspark Elemental seems particularly dick-ish to continually bring back, dodging it's EOT sac, allowing you to attack with it, Blink it, then have it ready to block on your opponents turn. Then you just Unearth it again during your turn, and do it all again.
*It all really depends on what mana base you are running, but the ability to return a creature with Unearth, then keep it around to block seems great. But it doesn't seem all that competitive.

"If you don't wear your seatbelt, the police will shoot you in the head."
- To my youngest sister when she was 6.
Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
Every other option is simply win more. If you resolve a titan, an avenger, a reveillark, you should already be winning. If you're not, you're running a bad deck that doesn't need venser, but better cards.
Only good titan with venser is the red one; also, things like murderous redcap are good because they're proactive.
Wow are you so wrong. Best case and point: State championships, my friend is running that new UWr venser deck. His first opp in the top 8 is Titan Ramp. Ramp starts going off, but my friend resolves a frost titan and then blinks it. Taps down the titan and a green source. That Play won him the game as next turn he resolved another frost titan and tapped down all the green sources. That prevented the opp from ramping into more mountains and winning the game.
You just can't call every card that interacts with strong cards a win more card. There really was no other card in standard that would have won the game for him. It's not win more it just wins more.
I don't think a turn 5 FoD in extended would work well, though. It's also important to note that Venser will either not be played until t6 at least, or the first wave of weenies will not hit 'til turn 6.
Has everyone forgot that Meddling Mage is in Extended? Run a UW control shell with Mage, O-Ring, Venser, bounce (Into the Roil, Disperse, etc), and a couple bombs. Lots of lolzy things to be done with this, like bouncing their threat, and blink the mage, naming the threat, or the ItR/O-ring combo, etc.

They say I'm a mill whore. I disagree. I just like pissing people off
I think you could pull off an interesting bant deck there, throw in Knight of the Reliquary and go to town with a landfall trigger kinda thing. I don't know, those are just the cards that came to mind (many already mentioned sorry) if I wanted to build in this vein. BG
Yes it costs 5 but it could be abusible if not a bit gimmicky. Particulary with Time Warp and Silence
Or most of the other control cards you're likely running to get to that point anyway. If you can stabilize a position with Mnemonic + Venser (possibly with Mimic Vat for backup,) even just recurring Cryptic Command should be enough.
guys, really, most suggestions here are not any good for example, Siege-Gang Commander and Reveillark will hardly be playable.... and to use Venser with Titans seems junk as Venser costs 5 Mana and the titans 6, so its only good to use Venser with things who are in the curve below him in pratise, what limits his efficiency to:
-Wall of Omens
-Mulldrifter (he is flexible because in early game you evoke and in lategame you draw a big bunch of cards together with Venser)
-Ranger of Eos: we have to see how that goes as some creatures who are good with Ranger are not in Bant colors or/and recommend the run of basics, which makes this hard, but at least it would fit perfectly into some sort of midrange deck featuring Vengevine
Of this Ranger List somebody made above:
Hada Freeblade (good with Venser too! Keep blinking one to beef up the other...slow for ext though)
Death's Shadow (because you'll be dead by the time you get four mana out anyway!)
Guul Draz Vampire
Scythe Tiger (I like this!)
Student of Warfare
Tideshaper Mystic (works like Spreading Seas? Could be good. Or not.)
only creatures like Figure of Destiny, Steppe Lnyx, Student of Warface, Wild Nacatl, Noble Hierarch, Birds of Paradise and Loam Lion can make the cut, the others are simply too bad, seriously - or offcolor;)
I am sure there are other options but till now nobody found them so lets keep our eyes wide open and our brain ready to explore.
