I would start hightower, as I'm still not convinced that the arizona passing game will be as explosive as it was under warner. They're gonna run the ball a bit more than usual and beanie wells is still dealing with an injury.
also, my goal for this week is to break the 13.1 point spread this week...

Woo, Miami goes to 2-0! Take that, Favre! Not all good news for me though, as I had the fortune of starting Vince Young at QB in MTGS2. So far my top scorers in either league are Hightower and Romo. Hoping for a big night. It does help, though, that CJ got COMPLETELY shut down against Pitt.
I'm amazed at how much difference a week can make in the NFL. Both the Bears and the Broncos have looked like completely different teams than the teams that took the field week 1. Bears stepping it up defensively and Cutler FINALLY looking like the QB he was hyped up to be when he was drafted. Broncos getting it done defensively as well, though their running defense still leaves a lot to be desired, and I mean A LOT. And the Broncos are leaving gaping holes in the short middle of the field. Though, again, they're looking better than they did week 1.

Cowboys were the most seriously overrated team in the league this year. Seattle never plays well away.
I'd say Chicago might just have a shot if they can protect Cutler, he only took one sack this week but he is getting hit a lot.
Alright Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson you're forgiven for having a terrible week one. Single handily save me this week with both Michael Turner and Ryan Matthews leaving with injuries. Now just need to hope that Drew Brees and Colston don't outscore Vernon Davis by more than 35 points.
I took a lot from my friends from Green Bay when I said Chicago would win... but who is laughing now. But yeah, Dallas is in trouble. I saw it in the preseason. I saw it against the Redskins. Today was probably their best looking day, but that isn't saying much. Romo looked unsure far too often, and the O-line looked weak all day. And the D was shaky throughout the entire game giving up a lot of big plays. And really their problem isn't talent, but attitude and cohesion, well except at kicker...
But in better news the Bears look to be the real deal this season (Hurray!). They looked a little shaky against the lions, but then again the lions offense looks a lot better then in any recent years. Overall I think the bears have a physical, hardhitting defense and a potentially explosive offense.
Anyways here are my predictions for the NFC North depending on the results of the Green Bay/Chicago game next week.
Green Bay wins:
1. Packers
2. Bears
3. Lions
4. Vikings
Chicago wins:
1. Bears
2. Packers
3. Lions
4. Vikings
Basically I think we'll see by next week what the North really is going to look like. The Vikings have looked disorganized and really don't to seem to be clicking anywhere close to the team we saw last season. And I don't think they can't beat the lions with this strong of an offense.
Basically unless the Vikings completely turn it around I don't them seeing higher than 3rd in the division. And I can see the Bears and Green Bay duking it out for the top spot.
Early I know, but if analysis can predict who will be in the Superbowl already, why can't I predict division standings.
Also, anyone else amused by the number of analyst that have/are predicting Dallas to go to the Superbowl?
The irrational hatred that people have for the Patriots always kind of amuses me.
Especially people that are fans of teams that are obviously inferior to said Patriots...like the Jets. The Jets won the Super Bowl what, once? 40 years ago? And haven't even come close since then? Maybe if you get Joe Namath to come throw some more footballs, you'll get somewhere! They've been around since the beginning and accomplished virtually nothing. Mark Sanchez is ridiculously overrated(primarily by Jets fans), also.
I would not, at all, classify myself as a Patriots fan, but the team that went 16-0 in the regular season is still, most likely, the best individual football team to ever take the field. Though maybe the 15-1 Bears or 15-1 49ers could take that claim. Maybe.
And please don't bring up 'Spygate'. The only difference in that regard between NE and..every other football team..is that they got caught.
There is just no logical reason for harboring such anomiosity toward a team..I don't get it. I can understand people that hate the Yankees, because the Yankees simply buy their way into the post-season on a continual basis. But towards NE? Makes no sense.

My wife dislikes the Pats becuase she is a Manning/Colts. I hate the Cowboys since I've been a Niners fan forever and remember when we used to be good and had a rivalry against them (back in the 90's). So I wouldn't say there is no logical reason for hateing the Pats.
I am terrible at drafting, I love that at no point in this season will my second round pick be in my starting line-up.
I think I know why people hate the Patriots, and you can blame ESPN, they are sick and tired of hearing about them. The reporters have some sort of creepy obsession with Brady and Belichick. At least thats why I hate the Cowboys and Notre Dame, but at least, unlike those two teams the Pats are actually relevant.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Jahvid Best is the 2nd coming of Barry Sanders. He alone makes me watch my Lions with more enthusiasm these days. The Eagles game sure was a firefight. I'm just getting sick of the close loses.
Yeah tough luck for the Lions again. Would be nice to see them turn things around. +1 on ND. When was the last time they really actually had a good team and yet they always wind up in the top 20 after beating a bunch of 2nd rate teams. People bag on BSU and TCU about their schedules and yet ND seems to get a free pass plus their own TV contract. Bah!
So I already have Big Ben on the bench and was planning on playing roulette QB till him came back but if Vick doesn't start should I try and hold on to him as well? I could drop Devin Aromashodu or Jeremy Maclin to make room for a 3rd QB. (Most likely have to wait till Saturday before making any kind of finaly decision.)
I'm not doing too much better, but I at least have a shot. I need vernon davis to get 11 points to win, thanks to Lee Evans' goose egg. (10.9 would get me a tie, but I'd just as soon take the win and not get involved in whatver convoluted tiebreaker scenario is in place.)
Why did I not start collie this week, for the second time in a row?
I'm just thankful the packers' D showed up and my opponent started brett favre over josh freeman. Opened the door for me.

Misery enjoys company -- I'm down by double digits with my opponent still with Frank Gore for tonight while I'm left with Reggie Bush.
Hah, I've lost by 30 2 weeks in a row. Thank god for Wrathchild's league, where I'm averaging a 30+ point win after 2 weeks, or I'd be ridiculously frustrated right now.
On that league though...the cream is rising to the top quick there. It looks like there will be only 4 2-0 teams in a 20-man league, with 3 teams averaging over 100 points a week (and one of them not 2-0).
I'm not really a sucker for fantasy football, but I sure hope my Chargers can live up to some sort of expectations this year. Yearly story is come close and choke. Maybe now that LT is gone, some fresh blood can liven things up?

That's what I was thinking when I drafted Ryan Mathews.
Really wish I drafted Jahvid Best instead -_-.
Luckily I have Matt Forte and Arian Foster so my backfield isn't a complete mess.
Honestly you're in pretty good position with those two backs... well Forte is more like a wideout these days, but you still put him in your RB slot, but nevermind.
Forte, while maybe not getting yards on the ground, will be getting yards through the air as he seems to be Cutler's main go to receiver in what is looking to be a powerful Martz style offense.
Foster is an interesting case as I don't quite know where to put him yet as I just haven't seen enough of him. But I will say this. He is a good back and he will put up points. He has to be to run for that ungodly amount of yards against the Colts. And I think they will use him as a nice complement to Schaub's ungodly passing ability (really he's like a WWII battleship with his arm). So while he might not turn out to be the next Chris Johnson, he is a good, solid starting RB.

So yeah... In MTGS 2, I've decided that my main/only weakness is at TE. Anyone on my team is available for the right price. Help?
