I don't expect to get too many answers since most blues fans are older and most magic players are in their teens and twenties.
I'm 37 and I started getting into blues a couple years ago. Rock artists heavily influenced by the blues like Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix got me interested.
Here are some of my favorite artists:
John Lee Hooker
Lightning Hopkins
BB King
Muddy Waters
Eric Clapton
Johnny Winter
Snooky Pryor
Stevie Ray Vaughn
I'm a blues fan too, but I haven't had a chance to pick up a lot of the essential older stuff. I've always been a B.B.King fan, same goes for Stevie Ray. Got to see Kenny Wayne Shepherd pretty early on, so I've been into his stuff for a while, too. I usually listen to stuff that's more blues-influenced than actual blues, stuff like Sabbath and Tito & Tarantula. My recent addiction has been the last couple of Clutch albums, which have a real heavy blues influence.

I don't generally sit down and listen to strict blues, but I love it when great blues comes on in a random bar and such.
The one big exception is the late, great R.L. Burnside. I was introduced to him via the blues/punk group The John Spencer Blues Explosion. I later saw him at one of his shows, and somehow my friends and I got invited backstage and just hung out with him for a good while. Just thinking back on that day puts a grin on my face. He was a wild character, to be sure; and a true bluesman. What blew my mind is that he even did a little improvised toasting with us backstage. Toasting is an old African form of poem/storytelling. I didn't really understand or appreciate at the time, but I believe he was telling the story of the Signifying monkey. Really, an honor.
I end up listening to a lot of artists that combine Blues and Rock - Mostly Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers Band, and the like. It's great music though... nowadays, you never hear the same kind of soul that Duane Allman and SRV played with.
And for the record, I'm 17. I'm a bit of an anomaly - all my music is 10+ years older than I am...

This space dedicated to Duane Allman. Wail on Skydog!
The oldest song in my collection is Kansas Joe McCoy & Memphis Minnie's "When the Levee Breaks". [1929]
Speaking of which, that song is much better known for being covered & reworked as side B, track 4 of an album much better known for side A, track 4.
In general, a lot of my blues material is really strongly-blues-influenced rock - Zeppelin and the Stones in particular, but a lot of others.
A John Lee Hooker compilation is one of many recently-loaded albums that I need to get around to actually listening to.
My collection is all over the place; that's bound to include some blues.

I'm 19, but a similar statement applies.
A quick check of my collection sorted by date tags shows 1941/3147 of my songs being from 1990 or later, but a lot of that is reissues tagged with the newer date [gotta fix that], or new releases from oldschool artists that are still around
Oh, I have some good modern stuff, which I'm working on expanding, but my collection is definitely concentrated in oldschool.
Eric Clapton is an amazing musician. My favourite blues artist is Big Bill Broonzy. Which, oddly, Clapton covered his song "Hey, hey." Which is my favourite blues song of all time.

Oldie but goodie. There are a bunch of good comps out there too.
There's a lot of crap blues out there too. I hate it when it's over-produced.
