Zeppelin. I swore to myself that if they ever did any reunion show I would go, and then they went and did one...and I couldn't go. So I would give a lot to be able to see them live, and if there were a way to see them young...
Besides them, Hendrix, Guns N' Roses, and Metallica before they cut their hair.
AC/DC
Queen

I'd stick Cheap trick, billy Joel, and Elton John on there, but Cheap trick and Joel are actually coming to Virginia this summer (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and i think Elton John is still touring. And before you ask, I'm under twenty.
The Minutemen!. God, I would love to have seen them, drunk at some bar where I may or may not get my ass kicked
@Charlie -Wierd, I think, perhaps, Kevin Shields is huge in Japan or something. Them still existing is complete news to me, though I did hear about a possble reunion.
Regarding SY- They are a little wierd about where they play. If you ever get the chance, you should go out of your way to see them. There are two artists I highly suggest anyone seeing. Sonic Youth and The Flaming Lips. Both bands just come alive at their shows.

(about the English language) It's kinda like a raft that was cobbled together from parts of three different boats and since then has been kept barely afloat with crude repairs every time a leak appeared.
Death and Atheist are really the two big ones for me. Death is a giant of metal and Atheist made some of the most interesting jazz-influenced death metal I've heard.
AC/DC
R.E.M.
Alice Cooper
Bruce Springsteen
Lenord Cohen
Are these just on there because you doubt you'll have the opportunity? Because as far as I know these 5 as well as several others mentioned like Radiohead are still touring. I felt like I would never be able to see Radiohead since they come to Canada so infrequently, but I got tickets last week. So it's always possible!
The only one I'd really like to see live but never will is Genesis. I've seen just about everything else I'd want to... and even got bootleg audiotapes of some of the shows. :/

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
I've heard that RATM is usually great live, a friend of mine went to see them in NY about a year back and said they were great despite the weather, so maybe you just got a bad show or something? At least I hope so, I'm still hoping that they'll stay together long enough again for me to see them.
Besides the obv inclusions already mentioned (Pink Floyd, Doors, etc), some of the ones I wish I could have seen:
Parliament and/or Funkaldelic
C2B3
Jeff Buckley
Stone Roses
Urban Dance Squad
Also I'd love to have seen some of the older greats, like Miles Davis or Gershwin, and to have seen Beethoven must have been pretty awesome.

Oh, I just don't like RATM that much, I'm sure they were great to someone who actually liked their music.
Stone Roses, I knew I forgot someone, they'd be great live.
Also - Seals and Crofts. I'd love to see Seals and Crofts.

According to this study I should be deaf by now.
Banner made by: Spiderboy4 :o:o:o
It shouldn't be "dies"
It shouldn't be "is put into the graveyard from the battlefield"
It should be "is put into the graveyard from play"

That's sad :(. Looking at some videos they look great live.
