So uh, I know there was a topic on this, but, it was really old, and I don't want to necro it.
So uhm, the series* finale was last night, and god damn it brought me to tears.
Eight wonderful seasons of such a great show (sure, the final season wasn't the best, but, it was still Scrubs) have finally come to an end... a very... saddening one.
To me, the song they played in the ending was just overkill. The actual footage was tear-jerking enough, but the music just had me completely crying. It also didn't help I was laughing at the same time.
I will miss Scrubs very, very much. One of the best shows on telivision.
*Actually, they're making more seasons, but the show will be completely different, but will keep the name Scrubs.
"If I do go to heaven, I'll smack god across the face and tell him to get me a grilled-cheeses sandwhich and then say 'Yea what now god!? Say some'in! I dare you!' "
I've heard several people say they were brought to tears at the finale.
I want to know: how was the last season? Since they brought in the character Kim, the series just tanked and tanked hard in my opinion. Did they redeem themselves?

It had its ups and downs.
There were only about 3 really good episodes in my opinion ("My Last Words" "My Chief Concern" and "My Finale"), but, a lot of the episodes were pretty good.
I'd recommend watching it simply because of those three.

I too was brought to tears.
I really liked Scrubs. I own all 7 series on DVD. I didn't actually realize it was the end until I started watching it lastnight. Every epiosde so far is titled "My ~" and this one was titled "My Finale". ;_;
Thanx for the laughs, years and memories Scrubs!
A lot of the interns are sexy and cool. But it will never be the same = A spin-off won't last.
I can't believe it ended. Once they let out the janitor's name, I knew it was real.
Scrubs is over.:gonk:

You can see the episodes at abc.com if you haven't already.
I was a bit disappointed at the lack of Ben in the hallway.
Non-Americans can't view it at abc.com.
I still managed to view the finale of Scrubs in its form now, and darn it, I'll miss it. Throughout eight seasons, or seven and a half (thanks to season seven), I was exposed to the reality and the hardships that a medical student would face after graduating (some of which would proved to be great for interviews, but alas, purchasing all the DVD's came afterwards), as well as a ton of pop culture, music, and cheesy, but 'invaluable' life lessons.
I wonder what's going on with the internet-based episodes of Scrubs: Interns, and can't help but wonder what Janitor's name really is (yup, I'm a sucker for this ploy, heh).
I wish it wouldn't end; it was, while it lasted, a good thing.
All this talk of missing it and no words about the new Scrubs series thats out? Although it retains the name "Scrubs" it was intended to be a spin off from the original show.
It follows a group of med students attending a medical university where some of the old cast now teach. Turk and Dr.Cox are the only permanent cast members around, but a lot of guest appearances are to be made.
I love the new season so far. It, along with the Office, are the only two shows I even watch on TV anymore. The five episodes that have been shown so far are also on ABC.com.

I now feel compelled to watch the final season of Scrubs. Hopefully it will be good.
I watched the first episode of the new series. It's hard to tell how it will go, as Zach Braff will only be in it for a little bit to smooth the transition as I understand it, and it's actually interesting as the first episode at least sort of highlights how much Scrubs has changed. The tone of the episode was very much like Season One of Scrubs, except for every scene with J.D., because J.D. changed over the course of the series from being the everyman and serious to becoming more and more ridiculous. The contrast shows through very well. Though, I thought it was cute how J.D. becomes the mentor for the younger female version of himself.
I'm interested enough to continue watching it, if for no other reason than the fact that Dr. Cox is in it, as well as the fact that I'm REALLY hoping that someday, SOMEDAY, they will do a Scrubs/House crossover. Hopefully it will go well.
Haha! I love that you were attentive enough to catch Glimmervoid, but not to catch that the subject of the photo is totally not a dude.

Also, one of my favorite parts of the hallway was most definetely Lonnie saying "I hate you so much J.D.."

Yes I did.
But was Dr. House in it? No. Even if it's just in a Family Guy-esque aside, I want Hugh Laurie, darnit.
Best episode for me was s5/e7(I think) My Way Home, the Wizard of Oz one
