Well in there defense the people who did deserve what they originally said and were planning did get screwed over.
Anyways the new skin for this patch is Firefox Ahri, which looks awesome. If it looks as good in game as it does in the art it might actually be the first skin I buy.
So personally I think there is a good chance we get something like Opera Sona.
Finally watching some Draven gameplay he needs to start with boots so he can catch his Spinning Axes.

Wicked Blades (Passive)
Draven's Critical Strikes deal bonus physical damage over time. Spinning Axe also causes this effect even if it does not Critically Strike.
Spinning Axe
Draven's next attack will deal 0.6 bonus physical damage. The bonus is equal to 45/55/65/75/85% of his total Attack Damage. This axe will ricochet off the target high up into the air. If Draven catches it, he automatically readies another Spinning Axe. Draven can have two Spinning Axes at once.

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 Seconds
Blood Rush
Draven gains 40/45/50/55/60% increased Movement Speed for 1.5 seconds and 20/25/30/35/40% increased Attack Speed for 3 seconds. The Movement Speed bonus decreases rapidly over its duration. Catching a Spinning Axe will refresh the cooldown of Blood Rush.

Draven may also activate this ability while the axes are in flight to cause it to return early. Deals 8% less damage for each unit hit (Minimum 40%) and resets when the axes reverse direction.

The double IP thing people are "quoting" with "evidence" is supposedly something from back in season 1 where RIOT said they would give double IP for getting 2mil views on a certain video. What they DID promise for facebook was "something big" and apparently a 34% IP boost isn't big enough /shrug
It wasn't the reward that made people go ape****. It was the fact that when people said they were disappointed about said reward. (Which they were entitled to after 6 months of waiting and Riot hyping it up.) It was Tamat (You know the Rioter with Pantheon in his avatar) that made it worse. Which of course he very quickly deleted that post, but the damage was done. And let us not forgot with the announcement Morello apologized and then agreed with the disappointment.
Also as for patch notes, Jax, Graves, Naut, Ahri nerfs, and a Swain buff? All is right in the world.

Yeah, funny how people complain about something they are getting for free... Spoiled brats.
Anyways, about the patch notes, the biggest thing I wonder is... WTF Galio nerf? Was Smite really that strong of an ability? Frankly, that ability is what allowed him to go mid successfully...
I LOVE the rest of the changes and they nerfed champions where they needed to get nerfed ('cept Galio), especially Ahri. I'm 50/50 with Swain as I never play against him though. But also... Why the Urgot nerfs? I thought he was underpowered as it was?
Hey guys, i've just been getting more into LoL lately, i'm only level 23 right now, and i'm still not that great. I usually play support, with Sona as my main, though I also play other roles. I haven't tried jungling yet, as I don't feel too confident trying it without proper runes(Right now I only have an AP caster page).
Anyways, I came here with a purpose, to share a story about my first experience playing Pantheon. The setting is just a normal blind pick game on summoners rift. The team's are: Pantheon(me), Yi, Ashe, Blitz, Akali Vs. Varus, Kog'maw, Pantheon, Nocturne, Teemo.
Pretty weird team comps all around, but that's what happens when you play with randoms. No one was jungling, me and Akali were bot against Varus and Panth, Ashe was mid against Kog, and Yi and Blitz were top against Noc and Teemo. **** the meta.
So, my first game with Panth. To start things off, our Mater Yi fed them 6 kills within 10 mins then ragequit, our blitz was pretty worthless, our Akali and Ashe were alright though. The enemy team had a Pantheon as well, and we were both laning against each other, our lane was pretty evenly matched up, me and their Panth ended up trading a couple times, though I was ahead on farm.
When it came to teamfights, we got wrecked, but I started to pull ahead. I went from 3-2-0 to 4-2-1. During this time, I had an epic 1v1 fight with their Panth, we went back and forth, trading blows, but it was clear I was gonna come out on top. It was then that something strange happened, suddenly their Panth was gone, one second he was there, the next he was nowhere to be seen. WHAT KIND OF COWARDLY SPARTAN USES GRAND SKYFALL TO RUN FROM A FIGHT?
The game continued on, we lost towers and were pushed back to base, things were looking grim, though I continued to pull ahead on kills, I was now 8-3-1. After calling their Panth a coward in all-chat, I made a point to play as manly as possible, using my own Grand Skyfall to leap in the middle of their whole team and spam taunt/laugh while they beat me to death. Again, during this time, I engaged their Panth in mortal combat, my health was already pretty low after fighting off Varus, but i'm not the kind of cowardly Spartan to show my back to the enemy. I leaped in the air, and the fight began, we traded blows left and right, and though my health was dwindling, my spear melted through his armor and shredded the flesh beneath. I was again the clear victor, when suddenly, it happened again, he was gone. WHAT KIND OF COWARDLY SPARTAN FEARS DEATH? The manliest of all Spartans used his ultimate move, the Grand Skyfall, to flee from a fight not only once, but twice.
He disgraces the art of war.
The game continues, and things are looking bleak, we are losing towers, and eventually even our inhibitors fall as well. After attempting to engage their team like a man, time and time again, I am now 15-9-1. I try my best to keep the enemy at bay, standing at the foot of our base, and laughing into the darkness beyond, daring them to fight. It is then that the enemy shows themselves, covered in the aura of the great monster that lies in the forest beyond. I ready my spear for combat, and leap into their ranks, I lose myself in the mess of bodies, but I do not fall back, I continue to fight like a true Spartan warrior. I fought valiantly, but my efforts were in vain, my body was worn and ragged, covered in gore, I had started to lose my nerve, when suddenly, the coward appeared, his spear at my throat. I will never be like him, I shall never falter, I FEAR NOTHING, not even death shall keep me from slaying that coward. As the enemy closes in to deal the killing blow, I throw my spear, and as the light is leaving my eyes, I see that my spear lands true, right into the heart of the coward. 16-9-1.
My glorious death marked the end of battle, our base was taken and our nexus destroyed.
A true Spartan until the very end. Though, now that I think about it, i've always wanted to be a baker...
Tl;DR: Pantheon is fun, never back down from a fight, and randoms are terrible.
So i've been playing Soraka lately, i think i have been doing ok, im not a great support but i know the basics and am still learning, problem is that the only way to practice is when playing ranked... this can be a bit of a pain at times, specially if you have seen any of the streams from my country.

(morello voice)
Galio nerf was because you could build pure MR, get a lot of AP off the passive, and still have damage - all while being a wall in the lane. The nerf is aimed at his damage, since he can just nuke a wave with no care at all. It created a farm lane, which is really boring and something I don't believe riot liked.
Ahri change was to encourage her to build more AP, since people were going utility spec with her and still producing decent damage. This forces her into a more 'all in' assassin/burst mage like they intended her to be.
Urgot is an interesting champion. He's always been incredibly strong when played by a not-terribad player. He does lots of damage at all stages of the game and you can build him tanky while still doing stupid amounts of damage. This is a hit to his tankiness, because riot is fine with him doing lots of damage as long as he is actually killable. He doesn't see a lot of play because he's a hideous beast and players don't like playing hideous beasts unless they're overpowered (kog'maw)

Overall I am not a fan of the way they nerfed Ahri. From what I've seen from the live team they don't really get Ahri and seem to have it in their minds that she should be a burst assassin (plus the way Morello talks about her). Ahri was and will still be an utility mage that goes utility more than straight AP, even with the better AP ratios (though with the base damage nerf you need 800 AP for firefox and 300 AP for spirit rush to get the same damage), so in effect it's more of a pure damage nerf than a trade off.

I'm not sure how someone can NOT play a great support Soraka. She has got to be the most straightforward characters for supports

Well, i know the build, the items and Skill progression, im still getting used to warding (although i do ward a lot im not sure if im hitting the right spots, most i use the ward spots i see in streams).
I just feel im not helping enough, nor do i feel i get the items as fast as i should be getting them.
Like i said its a work in progress...

You are learning :). Also I loled at your story.
Hey I have a question about Ryze; has anyone played him after his changes? I just got shat on two ranked games in a row playing TF against ryze. Before it was a pretty even matchup since he had more damage but I could out-push him. But now I'm basically effed once he gets his ult, since the movement speed ensures he can catch me. Why isn't Ryze being picked any more in competitive play?

It's exactly the same when you play Xin and Jax. Man mode all day erry day.
Also been playing AP Mumu on dom. So much fun, so much damage it's unreal.

Is that a Morello voice only, or the words of Morello?
Anyways, my arguments... The only reason why Galio is a brick wall in mid is because of the new item, Athene's Unholy Grail. That item literally made Galio a perfect mid-AP. To that end I can see them nerfing Galio for it, but that is Riot's answer to everything... If they aren't in tournaments, it's the champs fault. If they are, its the items fault. Ugh.
I'm glad Arhi got hit. Nuff said there.
Urgot being tanky? 320 HP is not a lot late game, especially for someone who doesn't stack AP or defensive items...

Morello voice, because thats the logic behind the changes. Galio has been seeing top level play for quite a while, in fact long before Athene's unholy grail game out. The item doesn't give him anything he didn't already had.
And Urgot builds usually go Doran, Doran, Bloodthirster, Guardian Angel, Tanky dps items anyways - so yeah he does stack defensive.

A true Spartan until the very end. Though, now that I think about it, i've always wanted to be a baker...
Well that escalated beyond a simple blind pick match....
I tried putting them in spoilers... it ended badly. Something about where I copy and paste them from doesn't like spoilers.
Anyways these are the patch notes from the PBE, so they are as right as the PBE is.

Then you've done all you can (unless you use your silence incorrectly).
Maybe try communicating to your teammates on what you see with your wards

Map awareness is another thing in trying to be better at, im much more aware as a support but it still needs improvement, but i do communicate what i see.
Silence.. Im not sure if im using it wrong at times, i silence so my carry can dive and get a kill, other than that i make sure i keep my carry well charged with mana instead.
