Honestly I find darius pretty weak. His lategame is absolute **** unless he's insanely fed, he's useless in teamfights, and although he can snowball hard off of people who don't lane against him right, so can a lot of better and more mobile snowballers (akali).
You just have to use his lack of sustain against him, because early game you probably can't trade with him. Just stupid people keep trying to trade with him in extended fights.

I'm not sure what to think about Darius. I played a few games with and against him and everyone was doing really average. He seemed perfectly balanced. Then I played with one on my team and one against us. The one on my team was convinced he was OP, and then he fed and the one on our opponent's team got fed and dunked us all. He was consistently getting triple kills in teamfights and seemed pretty unstoppable. I dunno, maybe it's just a problem of how hard he snowballs. It's not even like he's doing particularly well on lolmatches.com.
Oh and I also found out the hard way he can blitz grab you. That was pretty annoying. -.-
Considering his ratios and how his abilities work wouldnt the Spell Vamp Quints work nicely on him? yes you are loosing some damage but you are instead gaining a huge heal with his passive, Q and Ult, if only the game had an AD Spell Vamp item...

This just in, Katerina mid+Lee Sin Jungle is crazy fun bouncing all over the place. Ganks are pretty funny with Shunpo+Lee W with the ability to chase any flash with Lee Q.
The mobility of the duo really seems to catch a lot of people off guard and in general is simply a blast to play.

Yea, it is pretty cool. The only problem is lee doesn't have enough hard cc to unlock kat's full potential but he has so much damage in ganks it honestly doesn't matter.

Yeah, I swear we posted about this a few months ago. There was so much jumping around it was hilarious on the two man gank crews.

Wow so for the first time since I started playing this game I went into a game against a Leblanc...as Galio
When she blew her entire 4 button burst you down combo and didn't even take a single health bar away from me because of my MR+W it brought a tear to my eye.
errr.... i may not be much on the know but... who is Stonewall008?
I think im about ready to give up on normals, every single time im about to hit +40 i start getting horrible teams its just not funny.
Of course the other option (ranked) is not really much of a choice given that i can play very few of the competitive champs well, players in my ELO are even worst than the ones in my normal games AND i still cant get a good grasp on team comps and synergies.

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange eons even death may die.
I've had multiple Sorakas (and a Lulu) fill up their builds with all six slots, Gp/5 items, boots, Aegis, and Ap items, then when I ask why they aren't buying wards, they get upset with me and say that they have no slots left.
The most recent game we played, I bought twenty wards to the Soraka's 4 (which she never once used; she just bought them, walked around with them, died, then sold them off to buy a Giant's Belt) as Rumble. I built boots 2, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, and Hextech Revolver, but couldn't build anything else because I was wandering around the map laying down wards for our team.
Should I just let our entire team not have wards? Build my own items and hope we don't get ganked or have enemy people in our bushes? We lost constantly because people walked into bushes, only to find two or three champs hiding there. They must have known there were no wards anywhere, and we were just wandering around the jungle on our own and getting killed.
I play support a lot and I hate when our map doesn't have at least four wards on the map at any given moment. When we have zero wards and I can see zero enemy champs, I feel like there's someone waiting for me in every bush, and we're going to lose.

When this happens only thing you can do is make sure you have 2-3 wards at all times and ward the most likely gank sites in your part of your map, let the rest of the team figure out the problem and report the support once the game ends.

Nobody else thought the lack of wards was a problem and I got called a "Diva" for asking for wards. Meanwhile, our AP mid goes to try to get blue and there's two enemy champs camping in that bush for him and he dies.
He's the most famous jungler in the game, especially in terms of helping the playerbase (with guides, videos, etc).
Well, depending on viewpoint the junglers on the big teams are more famous, but whatever.
Sorry haven't heard of him before this, nor have i seen him in any of the streams i watch so i honestly wouldn't know and im not about to refute a claim like that given how little information i have.

Dont know how you asked but yeah there's nothing wrong for you to ask for wards, hell i do that every single ****ing game i play because im the only idiot who wards meanwhile the rest of the team gets ganked and all they think to do is flame me for defending top when they try to roam a completely unwarded jungle.
I reported Soraka, but I no one else did.
Nothing else you can really do, just hope the player gets reported in his following games and get a tribunal or worst sanction.

So, what's everyones thoughts on darius after almost a week? I've busy day twoing at gp anaheim (aaaand breaking my 8-0 streak to go 10-5 and end up 78th of 938,
Broken. Makes any game he's in unfun for everyone but the guy playing him. His kit encourages kill stealing. You can't duel him with damn near any champ.
Most of this could be fixed by simply removing the refresh on ult kills.
Dont know how you asked but yeah there's nothing wrong for you to ask for wards
I got more vocal the longer the game went on, as did Soraka and my other teammates. Something like this:
Me: "Hey, Soraka, can you get a ward? There's one in the top river, but I don't see one for bot lane."
Me: "Soraka, are you buying any wards? I've bought a bunch, but I haven't seen you buy any."
Me: "Are you going to place those wards you bought? We don't have any wards on the map right now."
Teammate: "Everyone, just buy wards."
Me: "I've been warding all game. I'm the only one doing it."
{Two other people buy one ward. Soraka buys 4.}
I buy 5 wards, ward top tribush, Baron, mid, Dragon, bot tribush.
I buy 5 more wards and ward our jungle.
Me: "Soraka, are you EVER going to ward?"
{Soraka sells her 4 wards and buys a Giant's Belt.}
Soraka: "I can't; all six slots are full."
Me: "Can you sell off one?. You're support. You should be warding."
Teammate: "Shut up about the wards already! We aren't losing because of lack of wards. We're losing because mid was awful."
I buy 5 more wards.
Me: "Soraka! WARDS! We're getting ganked in our own jungle because they're waiting for us. We have NO visibility."
Me: "If Soraka could buy and place wards, I could finish up my Rylai's Scepter."
Soraka: "That's not my fault."
Teammate: "God, Rumble, you're such a DIVA. Enough about the wards. Mid was awful and bot fed. It wouldn't have mattered if we had wards."
--
Mid and bot were surprised by the enemy jungler a bunch; I overextended once and died. I bought a ward every time I went back. They didn't. Perhaps it's an amazing coincidence, or maybe if they had warded, they wouldn't have died as much pushing their lanes.

Re: Darius. I saw some bad players on the release day. Since then, almost every one I've seen has the best kill/death ratio on his respective team. He seems very, very good. Stacking damage and a gap closer and bonus damage or armor penetration aren't the problem. We've got all those things and more on other champions. Other champs with true CC are more problematic. Stuns, disables, and taunts are more annoying than his pull, and slows and exhausts are comparable to his pull, although his pull plus a Frozen Mallet makes escaping him difficult, for sure. His ultimate is the real problem and difficult to work around. 320/500/680 true damage on multiple enemies is ridiculous. I can get more MR or armor against mages or carries, but true damage is much more difficult to play around.
I tend to play champs where it's natural to build a Giant's Belt or Rod of Ages for additional health which gives more of a buffer, but not all my teammates do, and it leads to him bullying those lanes, getting multi-kills there and snowballing very quickly. The lack of a substantial cooldown or increased mana cost on the ultimate means he can ulti one champ, pull, basic attack, Crippling Strike, basic attack, ulti second champ, repeat as needed until everyone in a team fight on the other team is dead of dispersed enough to allow his team to push a lane.
His presence severely punishes teams without multiple CC champs, and even with a stun/silence/etc. you still need to focus him and deal enough damage. I've seen Fratmog's on him, which makes him very tanky and hard to kill even if you prevent him from using his ult to kill your teammates. I think he needs a nerf to his ult, reducing the base damage, reducing the increase amount per stack, adding a cooldown, or adding an increased mana cost per use (like Kog'maw), or some combination of those.
You might want to read this, plus the ensuing comments from other users about Darius.
Ok i can understand your side of things but the way you went about it probably chaffed your teammates, it was more likely due to frustration that they snapped at you, adn while they are wrong about the warding they were most likely looking for someone to vent on, they couldn't blame you for the game but they could vent on your need to complain on the wards.
That being said i think you over warded, i make sure to carry 2-3 wards at all time, for my area, 5 is too much if you aint the support, your soraka sucked, your mid sucked and the rest of the team was exasperated about it already they obviously did not understand the importance of map awareness orat that point were more frustrated with the mid and thought your constant badgering of the support was not helping.
So in short yeah you had a correct complaint, but the team was not in the right mindset to deal with it, which is most likely why they snapped at you instead of the support.
Also you over warded

I jungle with him, Flash+Smite, 21-9-0, MS/ArPen Quints, ArPen Reds, AS Yellows, MRes Blues
R>Q>W>E
I usually start with Cloth+5, Into Wriggles and Merc Treads, then a Phage and a Hexdrinker. From there you can either finish your ballet or go for your Bloodthirster, depending on how well you're doing. Either way, your next step is (finish the Mallet if you haven't first) then make the Hexdrinker into a Maw of Malmortius. 6th item could be a Force of Nature, a Guardian Angel, or a Last Whisper, depending on what you think you should build.
Am I doing it wrong? Because I've had good success with this build (or maybe it's just Darius.)
I also don't think he's very overpowered, as his ulti is his main source of damage and early on you get choked hard by your mana. Unless you get a Banshees or something like that you still get choked hard by your mana late game. He's also very team dependent, something that a lot of champions I've seen him compared to aren't.

As for darius, I've seen him do amazing things, quite OP, his ult allows him to build tanky while still being very relevant in team fights. The true damage and instacooldown is nothing to laugh about. I've played with a few and they were always op. In dominion if anyone cares about that, he wins almost every low level fight.
