There is only so much babysitting a jungler can do for a single lane before the enemy jungler realizes it and just proceeds to have happy time in our jungle.
Not seeing how that's worse than completely neutering your AD to make a half-assed AP carry.
I think the reason for manamune is that it triggers from your AS buff as well meaning you get it farmed quicker than you do an AAS, either way both work with blitz really.
I don't even have blitz, but his ratios are pretty high for AP, no? I only advocate AAS because blitzes I play with hit way harder early and mid game when they go with that build, and late game he's just a glorified sex-offender anyway.
coincidentally Ulf sorry for the "Toss the Slardarr to the enemy!" game
This was actually a very strong play, since my stun hits people all around me and I have a bash on auto attack. Just try not to do it so close to the tower next time

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange eons even death may die.
His nukes are both 1ap ratio on click, but that isnt the important part of his kit. Your grab could be zero for all it matters
Exactly, ad will be more reliable (you don't always grab or lift who you want to do damage to - eg when you initiate with it or when you peel for your carries) and will flat out increase your damage more (synergy with w AS steroid).
The only thing AP effectively and reliably does for blitz is increase his aoe burst potential with ult, and that's usually unimportant... I would only really consider building anything AP on him (aside from sheen) if the enemy carries (especially AD) have an unnaturally high armor:mres ratio or if your team is an aoe comp. In which case you probably shouldn't be blitz, but yea.
Even ignoring the faster charge, lower cost, and higher tower damage of manamune, I'd say it's much better in pretty much all situations.
For pretty similar reasons, I would rather build AD than AP on alistar.
It is pretty lultastic to get a lichbane, deathcap, manamune, archangles, boots and frozen heart and watch blitz's e do half the carries health on a four second cd
Are we talking jungle ali, solo top ali or support ali for ad?
I like leveling w first, the speed boost is really powerful for when your chasing people down. Hit and run support is more important than a second or 2 more off the e. Level 1q 2 e, 3-5w, 6 r, 7w, 8e9w, then start maxing e. The first e is much more important than the second early and w gives better damage potential by making the first e faster
His e will scale on ap for ap builds because early lichbane is a big part of ap blitz

I'd say e is better than w because e is a knockup disable and disables are better on supports.
I don't see the point in ap or ad blitz personally, blitz is always stuck bottom as support so you should do gp5s anyway. Sheen for damage after that, then build tanky because you should initiate every fight lategame with a q, e, r.

Level 1 the CD is 9 seconds, it takes one second off per rank. Early game support the difference between a 9 second and a 7 second cooldown (say, level 5) is, well, not that big a deal. The difference between level 1 and 3 of overdrive is an extra 8% movespeed and 16% IAS. Huge.
Basically, if we're talking about early game support/harrass/letting AD carry land a couple of attacks/nukes then the first E is the most important and the only thing that leveling E does is decrease the cooldown which is GREAT in long fights, but utterly useless in hit and run attacks.
Contrast that with maxing overdrive, which gives a massive boost to speed which lets you land your initial E much more easily. I can't tell you how many games I just sit in bush and the enemy thing they've got me countered with the "stand with your creeps to the bush" strategy which I respond to by pressing W, running out their fast as hell (movespeed quints + my turbo = seeexy) At level 5, even without boots, we're talking movespeeds greater than that of boots. 300 + 28.5% = 385.5. No way the enemy at level 5 can match that, and with boots it gets even more sick. We don't need to second knockup in early game harrass because the fights only last for one combo, you run out of their attack range back to bush fast and you start with 15/hp5 so their harrass doesn't take long to heal. My bitz is 0/30/0, btw, though I've been considering going 0/21/9 for more mana/regen/movespeed, but as is its a beast. I think my regen is like 26/5 at level 1.
With blitz I start with the 15 regen pendant and a mana pot into an early philo stone and boots. With the bonus mana regen and hp regen you can really support your AD carry, hopefully getting enough early assists/dragons to farm an early sheen/tear
Getting an early tear, then a sheen, then finishing up tear into manamune before working on more strictly tank items has worked well for me. After I have Double GP/10 + Tear + Merc Treads + Sheen I start to build whatever tank item is most useful for their teamsetup. Generally, I like to get a frozen heart and finish off my manamune, at which point your shield is stupidly good. If they are high on AP, then an early Force of Nature gives you everything you want against a heavy AP team, except raw mana for shield. That movespeed bonus, combined with W and your eventual trinity force is sweetness.
So Double GP/10 + Merc + ManaMune + Sheen + First Tank Item = Offtank blitz that gets to spam q until one of them hits.
Often, my end build looks something like
Merc Treads/ManaMune/Trinityforce/Frozen Heart/Force of Nature/~whatever~, sometimes I get an archangels to help burst the enemy down faster, or a second tank items of whatevers killing me, or warmogs if its about even.
Blitz OP!
Pure tank is alright, but if your doing it right, being able to have the extra burst dps from landing Q and popping skills is more important that lasting an extra few seconds in a teamfight, especially since if you have 40% CDR and your popping people up constantly. If they focus you, your shield pops and all of a sudden they will wish they'd have focused your carry. Between Frozen Heart and Manamune, you get a nice little bit of surprise tank that is often enough to keep people who arent used to fighting blitz from realizing that a close fight just turned into a losing one.
You don't say? And you don't need pure tank, but just enough tank. While you do initiate, you do so by initiating a roflstomp on whoever is unlucky enough to get grabbed. They will then get burst into the ground in an instant.
Oh, and part of AP blitz is the fact that once your mana gets into the 3-4k rank, your passive shield is then 1500-2000 and its just silly how tanky you are.

Wow, 3 buffs to teemo (yes, yes, two of the "buffs" are just bug fixes) and they "updated" gragas recommended items. Lol? Does that mean they finally admit they made a Caster/Tank?
Heh, and a bunch of my runes got buffed and none of mine got nerfed.
Yay! And dorans stacking, something I really hate got nerfed.

I'm sad... They didn't even touch Lulu, even though she's zoning people on bottom when playing as a support... Her damage is just WAY too high for support.
Also, I'm not impressed by Hecarim right now. He doesn't look fun from the spotlight.
... also not a fan of the new ACE/announcement stuff
I liked him, he has high mobility with that e and his q is spammable 4 sec cd with up to 2 sec cdr from its passive.
What makes him interesting is his w though, its ALL damage converts to hp, not all damage you do. This means you can initiate a fight and use w to have massive hp regen when your team bursts the enemy team.
he looks fun for me but I like junglers and he really does play like a jungler (no its not just phreak being phreak) because his spammable q and his w still heals for alot on minions despite a cap.

no just no, his damage is his e which you should be leveling first because it has a low manacost and leveling it drastically decreases its cd.
That plus w means he scales better off damage, ap scales highly but only benefits q and r.
