Your thumb will be so sore after this, as you must constantly hold down the D-pad in the direction that you need to move your little clinger-winger in. There is VERY little room for error, and even worse there are no checkpoints, so if you die you have to start all over again.
I never had any real problem with this level. Actually, I think I even beat it on my first try. After Terra Tubes and Rat Race, this level was a joke to me, so I never really realized why people have so much trouble with it.

aha, i remember my parents getting me Pokemon Blue and reading me what the people were saying. I remember that getting a Wheezing was my life goal for a while.
I remember Duke nuke 'em and some fighting games such as tekken, street fighter and soulcalibur.
Also mario and tetris.
I still play all the fighter games just the newer ones (Soulcalibur 4 is wicked) and I still love mario and tetris.
Is it good? From what I've seen, it could very well be the ugliest game ever made, the sprites are ridiculous, but the fact that it remains in people's minds must be some credit.
I've recently started playing Seiken Densetsu 3, and I'd forgotten how good this game was.
I wouldn't say so. It's sorta like Zelda 2 only uglier, clunkier, grindier, buggier, and more random. I personally think of it as somewhat playable, but not especially fun.
It's ok. I've played better and worse games for the NES, but that one twangs some nostalgia chords for me that I can't really justify as anything else. Gameplay is alright; go left or right and hit stuff. Norton is correct in that it is pretty grindy, but it isn't really much different from Zelda II (except that Faxanadu is all sidescrolling).
There are just a few things I love though. Ointment makes you invincible, all the enemies are called dwarves (even if they are dragons, snakes, ghosts, or cyclops heads with grasshopper legs instead of ears), one of the better swords is a fork, and the ending is hilariously bad.
King: Thanks for saving us. I hear you're traveling again. What a restless guy! *Roll credits

At this point though, I am too competitive in Pokemon, compared to those days when I was naive and young.
Pokemon Yellow was my favorite however. It was interesting what they did.
And...I speed run Mario now, so--The fun has evolved a bit for me.
Megaman X was another of my favorites.
I can do that game almost blindfolded. 8D
