those are your only 2 options I'm assuming? Well, Nicks draws a decent Skins D week 1. Harvin draws the lowly Browns. So matchup wise Percy is the better play, especially if you get return yds/scores for him (probably not, but...). Ultimately I think Nix will be the more complete WR, but this early on I'd say the ex Gator is the better play.

I have hope that as the year progresses, both of them have potential to be solid; however, should I resort to looking to pick someone up for week one if possible? I would naturally prefer to not take something just slightly higher than a zero for their slot if they don't get enough touches.

Who are the top available FA's? And what does your roster look like (i.e. who would be worth dropping if anyone). In a 3 WR league I'd say backing on 2 rookies to fill the third spot is a bad idea. I'd look to acquire another via trade/FA.

Patrick Clayton, Bryant Johnson and Joey Galloway are probably the top 3 FA's available and I am on the waiver to pick up Crayton.
My team looks like this:
QB - McNabb
WR - Larry Fitzgerald, Lance Moore, Percy Harvin
RB - Clinton Portis, Pierre Thomas
TE - Anthony Fasano
K - Jason Hanson (soon to be replaced)
DT - Jets
Bench
QB - Chad Pennington
RBs - Larry Johnson, TJ Duckett (be amazed lol)
WR - Hakeem Nicks
K - Garret Hartley (be amazed again)
DT - Seattle
So right now, I have plans to drop Duckett for Jerious Norwood, Hanson for Seabass, and Hartley for Patrick Crayton.

Eesh...I might shy away from Crayton. Rumor has it Miles Austin has beat him out for the #2 WR spot. I'd be more inclined to go Galloway. Especially if NE goes pass happy again this year
Also, those of you who are new this year need to be made aware that after the winner of each of the 3 leagues is decided, This 3 winners will post there starting rosters here and play 1 more week to determine the overall MTGS champion (Jobie was last year's champ having defeated Only-3-Calories).
I'm still waiting on that trophy...

I aint buying you squat LOL, but ExtremeIcon was supposed to look into some sort of trophy to attach to the winner's profile. Im guessing it was a no go as I never heard back
Which two wide receivers would you guys run out of Lance Moore, Santana Moss, Roddy White and Terrell Owens? And should one of them take my OP spot over Lendale White?
I'd run out Roddy White and Lance Moore and leave LenDale White in. TO could be anywhere from terrible to great, but I would wait a week or so to watch him in game. Santana Moss is a bye week or injury replacement at best in a 10 team league.
If someone is on Waivers to pick up and it says, say September 9th until they are off of waivers, what time do they supposedly come off of waivers? I assumed it would be midnight, but apparently not?

Hey guys, anyone know where Deion Branch is falling on Seattle's depth chart right now?
I have one spot left to fill on my roster for week 1, either Shockey, Coles or Branch.. can't decide.
So excited that football is back again!!!
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!
I'm gonna say go ahead and play Shockey or Coles. I was really impressed by what Shockey was able to do this preseason and he looks to be a much bigger part of the Saints offense this season. Brees is obviously gonna throw it around and the fact that he draws Detroit week 1 makes starting him pretty tempting. Then again, Coles has a favorable matchup against the horrid Denver D which makes him a solid play as well.
Branch draws the Rams which is good news for him but I've never considered him a dependable fantasy WR, even when he was a #1.
I agree with above said statement. Coles or Shockey. Drop Branch for Burleson if he's still out there. Late-round values like Nate Burleson and Bobby Engram aren't getting drafted, and people are passing over Earl Bennett and Kenny Britt for older guys like Branch.
I have a W/R flex position to figure out and I'm kind of torn here. I have Darren Mcfadden there right now but he kind of worries me since he literally has done nothing in the preseason other than fumble. Everyone's saying he's somewhat of a sleeper and is going to do well this season but I'm kind of worried. Plus it's not like the San Diego defense is horrible. My other option is Chris Henry who I can see have a much larger role in the offense now that TJ is out. He looked good and got several looks in the one game I managed to watch in the preseason. It's going to be a close week 1 for me and this is the only decision that I see being a game-loser.
So what do you guys think, McFadden or Henry?
PS: A 3rd option would be Bernard Berrian but I kind of wanted to wait to see how Farve handles this offense before taking a risk.

I found Josh Morgan sitting there to be picked up so I grabbed him haha. Perhaps my WR problems won't be too bad after all if Crabtree sits out all year and Morgan becomes the best target San Fran has.
Honestly, I don't think Baltimore's offense is that much better than Tennessee's. And the Steelers have two legit WR's with a legit QB that can throw it to them. The only concern is Ben's tendency to get sacked as he got sacked 4 times last night. Of course, unlike QB's like David Carr, Ben is capable of throwing the ball away. But if the running game keeps not showing up, Baltimore is more than capable of making Pittsburgh try to beat them with a running game that is now extremely questionable.
Pittsburgh's defense isn't just one player, it may be slightly worse, but its still quite formidable.
