I got no use for a name new cd and I think it is a very good cd. It is deffently one of their best so if anyone likes I guess they are melodic punk they used ot be skate punk but I think melodic fits them better you should check it out it is called Keep them confused.
I don't like no use for a name. i don't know why, the just dont click with me.
I've been listening to Brother Inferior, and some straight edge bands mostly recently. Check out my audioscrobbler (link is the picture in my sig of the recent tracks)

Did anyone see that? How Nike has stolen Minor Threat's artwork for their new ad campaign, Major Threat? **** corporations.

I saw that at Alternative Press message board. I hate it there so i left though. Everyone there are *******s. Everytime you mention a band there they say "they sucks" or "they not metal" or "Listen to good music" so i left to see how many people would say good. One guy told me that the bled were screamo. Oh well back on topic...
yea i saw that and was sort of amazed and a little upset, but then I found it funny that nike sunk that low.
Eh, whatever. Large corporations will do what they will...
I wonder when NOFX is coming out with a new album...
Well I searched around and couldn't find anything. I dont think they're planning anything right now other than a dvd maybe. I know they're asking for footage if anyone has any of them live. And that is what the blood brothers are doing for their dvd...so im just guessing.
Cd's im excited about;
From Autumn To Ashes(August 16), The Bled(Aug 23), BoysNightOut (july 26), Death Cab For Cutie (semptember ?).
It really sucks that Nike has to steal from a cool group like Agnostic Front. I am instituting a lifetime boycott of all Nike products immediately. Their shoes don't fit me right anyway.
BTW, I know many of you are dissapointed by the new Avenged Sevenfold album. I heard the other day that the singer who screams blew out a blood vessel in his vocal chords or something like that and that is why he can't scream anymore. Can anybody confirm this?

You mean minor threat right? Figured so... anyway. Yes that is what happend to him and that makes it even worse because I was going to watched them at warped but even if they play their old songs it means they will now suck. But yea, that is what happend. I've heard that even if he dosen't scream for (insert random time here) that if he does scream after (random time) it will make it even worse apparantly. So I guess goodbye A7X.

Does this happen often? A band's vocals are so loud and screamy, they eventually destroy the vocal cords of the user? That's awesome! It's like the new Dark Speech. I'll have to look up how to do it in the Punkronomicon.

"The imagination is not a State: it is the Human existence itself." - William Blake
I still like A7X, even though the vocals are different. They still have the musical ability to create awesome songs. BTW, do you know if the damaged vocalist is still the lead vocalist or have they focused on the other guy.
@ EvilDuck: This has happened to a few like Axel Rose and others I can't recall right now. Not the same problem but the same result. Even Tom Araya (Slayer) has recently had to pace himself to avoid permanent damage.
I am not sure where they are. I will have my people call their people and my people will tell their people to call your people.;)
I mentioned Agnostic Front a few posts back, and of the others, I like Pennywise, Bad Religion, and some Misfits. The Glow Skulls are alright, as are the Misfits.
In fact, I saw Pennywise a few years back on Warped. I think 1999 or so. That was a pretty cool show. Ice-T was on the bill and so was Zebrahead.
Well, I went to the Sounds of the Underground Tour and I would just like to say that FATA is BY FAR THE WORST LIVE BAND I HAVE EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER HEARD!! This includes some random douche covering Disturbed at a local Battle of the Bands (and I hate Disturbed.) Otherwise the concert was awesome. Opeth rocked although they, like msot bands, only had a 1/2 hour set. I'll definitely see them when they tour after The Ghost Reveries is released.

And it is quite sad that Nike will probably win a case, should a case ever arise.
