I'm not high level, or mid-level. I have a level 21 Warlock on Skullcrusher named Jozak, so if any Newsers are on Skullcrusher, drop a line or whatever.
Im starting after I get home from Europe (been playing on friends`accounts, most lvl 60). Im going to roll a demo warlock and either a 31/5/15 or 13/11/27 warrior, cant decide (i love shields but protection tree is horrid). My friends are on Mal`Ganis so Ill probably be there. If you dont mind a 2-week late character I could grind with yall

What are you talking about? The Protection talents are amazing. If you're seriously going to be tanking in instances/raids, Protection IS the only way to go. It's also nice that they changed the tree around- some of the more banal ones (like Improved Revenge) are now stand-alone, instead of forcing you to get it for the Stun. Believe me, Protection is a great skill to go into.
That said, if you're soloing, don't do Protection, and instead, do Arms/Fury. Fury if you really want to do Dual Wielding, and Arms if you like those huge 2H weapons. However, there are a few must-haves if you're going to be a Warrior...
Tactical Mastery (this is a must-have. You'll want to be switching stances all the time.)
Cruelty (improved crit chance=more crits. You want more crits.)
Deep Wounds (this paired with Cruelty means that you'll almost always be holding aggro)
Toughness (an additional 10% from armor may not seem like much, but as you get better and better armor, you'll get a much bigger increase. Eventually with Toughness, you'll get an Armor bonus equivalent to having two or three extra slots of armor. It's ridiculous good, since the more armor, the less damage you take, and therefore, the less the healers have to spend healing you.)
I have a lvl 45 paladin on Ner'zhul, but I've shelved it until Blizzard decides to fix pallies (and not like a dog).
Right now I'm playing my lvl 22 shaman on Gurubashi.
/w Konda plz.

Paladins kick ass in PvP. That is all, unfortunately (well, that and Fire res aura rocks in MC)
As for warrior talents, all my guild's warriors are Protection. Seriously, endgame if you plan on doing MC, Onyxia etc you must have these talents - I mean, you could probably get away with it if you're not an MT, but I still wouldn't reccomend it (Sulfuron and Majordomo it's nice to have all your warriors Protection-specced since non-MTs only have one priest assigned to them).

Heres why Protection sucks; other than 4% more armor and a bit more threat, protection does almost nothing to help your survivability past 15 points. New bosses are taunt-immune, most are disarm-immune, and almost all are concussion blow immune. In addition to that, shield slam is horrid (almost never enough rage) and improved shield wall is horrid. So after 15 in protection youre spending points for improved shield bash and improved sunder. The big difference between protection and 31/5/15 warriors is usually that prot warriors have better tanking equipment.
Even worse; going 31 in protection means either skimping on cruelty or the full deep wounds tree. Your damage output will be very low.
BTW improved revenge is one of the better skills in protection, given how often you block.
Anyways, Im interested in PVP and protection offers me little in that area. Obviously more threat is useless, as is improved sunder/disarm. Protection skills are either for PVP or PVE; few are good for both. Add in that stun has diminishing returns and improved bash is only pretty good and I see little reason to stay in defensive stance or hold a shield. Im not going MS/flurry because thats cookie cutter as hell and I want to be able to do raids decently well (warrior isnt the damager in raids).
After a 9 month hiatus, I finally got a comptuer good enough to support the game. I'll be playing as a lvl 25 Tauren shaman on the Medivh realm. I just got my new video card yesterday, so I have a lot to catch up on.
And I thought there were supposed to be meeting stones outside instances, but i didnt see one outside the Wailing Caverns. weird
Yep, there is one. It's to your right as you enter the caves.

Yeah, I saw it. I ended up tanking a run through at lvl 26 with my shaman. We had no problems at all. We even took on Verdant the Everling. I was able to just tank him while my party healed. Even at my lvl, he still hits for like 250. He dropped a nice staff though. I also did a run in Razorfen Kraul and Blackfathom Deeps. we wiped once in both. In deeps it was only because my group was full of idiots. Oh well, this game is getting better everyday.
After obsessively playing the demo that came with my stepdad's CGW, I got World of Warcraft. Why is it so damn addictive? I haven't felt this way since Zelda, but it's worse because this could go on forever! I kill things, take their skin and go back to town to sell it. I dream of the day my druid can turn into a cat. I marvel at my ineptitude at being the group healer. This game consumes and confuses me. And you? *psst*I'm Silverclaw on the Bloodhoof server. Call me!

Grund <Incursion> 60 Shaman on Kilrogg
Haven't played in months though. Stopped my subscription cause I am poor and sad. And now my Earthfury pieces are collecting dust.
I doubt it, due to how buggy the test servers are (Crash almost less then every hour they are up)... if they realease 1.7 today...Im probably going to take a few week break, with my subscription ending thursday and with school starting anyways, i dont want the few hours i will be able to play it for the next month or so being plauged with problems...

Those crashes are due to two things:
1.) The version of the patch on the test server is a 'beta' patch.
2.) There are more than 100 normal servers. And how many test servers? Hmmm? Of course its going to crash and lag more often, there's not enough room for everyone to be on it.
Who here plays WoW and has a high lvl character? How far is your guild in terms of endgame content?
And also, I'm trolling here to get other people to roll Horde alts on Ursin (new PvP server) and lvl up w/ me =D. (Moofighter, lvl 6 Tauren Warrior)
Otherwise:
Sakabatou
lvl 60 Night Elf Druid
Skywall
Workin' on Rag right now. =D

Anyone heard if they're patching today as well?
