With the new cards from the last few sets there seems like there should be a MWC decks around. Stonehorn Dignitary that can control combat phase. Village Bell-Ringer that untaps all your creatures with flash. Lapse Of Certainty and Mana Tithe that can counter spells. Squadron Hawk for card advantage. Anyone has a decklist they would be willing to share or found any from the pauper dailies?
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
I haven't come across any decks like this yet. It actually seems like a very interesting idea to try out.
Exactly. I had gone to PDCMagic.Com and couldn't find anything for MWC even through the search thingy. I could have sworn they had an archetype for this there. It seems viable enough especially with the last few sets printing some really epic control creatures.
What's your Magic Online name? If you wanted to, I could make a MWC deck and run it through the gauntlet of whatever pauper decks you own; we can collaborate on the list.
Yeah something like that isn't prevalent in the dailies or on PDCmagic.com. You're going to have to brainstorm that list up yourself. The links I posted should give you a starting point for cards you may want to consider in your build.
I'm wondering what the advantage of mono-white is. Without something like Martyr of Sands that cares about color, I don't see the point of restricting yourself to white. It seems like you could play Squadron Hawks in UW, and then you'd get Brainstorm. UW would also let you play cards like Momentary Blink to help capitalize on EtB creatures like Stonehorn Dignitary.
I dunno, unless there are powerful cards that care about color, I just think white is too narrow to be a good control deck in classic.
We have Holy Light as a sweeper, Guardians' Pledge as a finisher, Temporal Isolation and Journey to Nowhere to serve as removal, and utility creatures to take care of issues that arise when facing other various archetypes.

In the post also he also discusses sideboard plans for various matchups.
Hope this helps
