Ok, So Blue king of the island had destroyed both of its natural foes red and green! but his allys black and white are not overly happy with having THEIR allys bounced to oblivion in blues vigor. White realizes that it will have to team up with its foe black if it has any hope, They both together weave some magic to change how a battle is fought and enter the fight!
Rules (revised)
Each side has a deck consisting of ALL cards of its colour ONLY 1 of each. For teams of more than one color each multi coloured card of the appropriate colours are included.
Each side may PICK their opening hand, However all other draws after that are RANDOM!
NO artifacts, The colorless gods of Power nine all outvoted joining a side in this at a 7 to 2 vote.
Each side automatically get one land put in play without needing to draw it.each turn (their decks contain no land)
Each side starts with 200 Life. (I want this drawn out a bit, these ARE the avatars of the pure essense of magic after all)
Who will win, Blue the King of Island or Black and White Good and Evil unite!
either by flooding the battlefield with efficient weenies with Silence backup or quickly discarding the entire hand of blue.
As far as I know, none of those colors are able to 1st turn kill anyone without using multiples of the same card, or with just 7 cards in a chosen order.
By the old rules, monoblue would probably win even if everything else teamed up against it.
"Draws after the initial hand are random" means that there is no way to conclusively determine who will win. To get close, it's going to boil down to who can generate the most card advantage.
Black/White team could craft an opening hand with a bunch of tutors, but at that point why not just put the tutor targets in the opening hand? Black/White team could start with Dark Ritual into Necropotence and then grind out the card advantage that way. I'm sure Blue's best option, though, would be to fill its opening hand with bounce and counterspells, then wait it out like a traditional control deck and win in the long game. Aside from Necropotence (which blue would probably spend two cards to get rid of before it does much damage), I am certain Blue wins the game of who can generate the most card advantage.
Again, though, it all comes down to the random cards that get drawn. Both colors have their fair share of useless, overcosted commons. This duel would turn out much more like a sealed game (luck being the biggest factor) rather than a constructed game (matchup being the biggest factor).

"[Screw] you and the green you ramped in on." - My EDH battle cry. If I had one. Which I don't.

In fact, with decks with thousands cards, 90% of them being unplayable junk, all those decks have are tutors and chosen initial hands....
it's impossible do determine who'd win in this ruleset, it's most likely, completely random unless someone finds a starting hand that can warrant that 200 damage by itself.
As this game would be godhand vs godhand in a horrible deck, this match would, be pretty much on "who's better at limited?" as this match would be pretty much a limited match with even worse decks.
you have to answer a few questions...
1- Who's got the best godhand? (this one is actually possible to answer if given enough thought)
2- Do that godhand warrant a victory that can't be disrupted? or generates a position so good that a win is just a question of time?
3- Which deck has the best average card quality to play in an environment in which only single cards actually matter as decks have no synergy whatsoever?
Blue is historically the worst creature color and worst creature removal color.
It can draw lots of cards, counter lots of things, but blue needs consistency to win, it's control is mostly reactive.
White has the best small creatures, has LOTS of board wipes that can reset the game after a bad start and can gain LOTS of life.
Black has necropotence, Dark Ritual, lots of creature removal, and efficient pro active control in form of discard and land destruction.
So, that deals with six out of the seven initial Black/White cards and draws probably another six cards.
Again, after that? It's all random.
problem is... random inconsistent decks with 1ofs of every card printed in blue is a whole lot worse than the deck for black/white in this kind of format.
Both Black and White have better creatures than blue in average, and the amount of control cards isn't statistically so big that blue will be able to control something in a random environment.
Blue can stop every single godhand with a control godhand, ditto...
but what does it do after?
This ruleset is lame. lol.
It's impossible to determine anything here.
This rule set was suggested to me by another person who thought blue having all the swag in play basicly ensures blue can't lose, so I thought I would try and change it up. If you have a different idea for rule set I am open to hearing it.

in the other ruleset, blue was king, it would win always even if everything else ganged up on it.
In this ruleset, the winner is undetermined every time, as every deck is just awful, and everything depends on what you draw.
A ruleset with a proper deck is just Vintage magic with further restrictions and thus bad for discussing.
1-ofs of everything in starting hand and 1 basic land each turn seems better, IMO.
It can power black down, maybe.
every rule will bend the balance somewhere, but random draws from thousands of cards makes every game a cointoss.
Old ruleset made blue king of the hill, but was fun to try and discuss in that.
Just forget about blue and let's go back to the old format to discuss the rest. lol

Black can also generate 6 mana in turn 1....
Swamp, Dark Ritual, Priest of Gix, Culling the Weak...
with white's aid, it can cast a Silence in turn 2 before doing that to at least force the counterspell.
To be honest, I think both Black or White alone would bash Blue in this set of rules.
Mental Misstep (for the turn one Thoughtseize)
Spell Pierce (For the turn two Hymn to Tourach)
Counterspell (For the turn three Silence)
Daze (For the Bitterblossom)
Mana Drain (For whatever comes after that)
Blue Sun's Zenith (To dump all the Mana Drain mana into)
Force of Will (In case anything else crazy happens)
So, that deals with six out of the seven initial Black/White cards and draws probably another six cards.
