I apologize in advance if this belongs in regular WCT rather than RLA.
So here's the story. A few days ago (the 16th), I placed an order online for something. Everything goes fine, I enter credit card information, and enter my billing and shipping address. I skim over the order details to see that everything is correct, and I place my order.
Until a few minutes ago.
When I checked to see how my order was doing, I realized that the billing and shipping addresses that I entered had the incorrect state. Instead of putting CA, I put in CO, the next state down in the list of states in alphabetical order. I immediately sent in a ticket explaining the situation and to try and get this issue resolved.
Now I'm worried that my ticket won't be read and that the order will just go into "limbo" or something and be unable to be shipped. At this point, what should I do?
Extra information that may help:
- On their site, it says it usually takes three or four weeks time between the time that an order is first received to when the merchandise arrives at the front door of the person's home.
- The order progress says "processing", not "shipping", so the merchandise in question is not currently in transit to my (incorrect) billing address.
- Colorado does not have a city with the same name as the city I currently am in. California is the only state that has a city with such a name. I'm not sure if this helps.
- The phone number I put in with my order corresponds to a California number, not a Colorado number.
- The ticket system says that it takes around 3-5 days for the people who work there to respond to messages. In the past, however, I've had sites with 3-5 day waiting periods for tickets whose workers never responded, and so I fear that the people on this site will not respond, either.
- For anonymity purposes, I don't want to include the name of the site from which I ordered the merchandise in question.

The only suggestion anyone can provide is to contact the site's customer service. They might be able to have the shipping service reroute the package. If it's USPS, that package will eventually reach you, as their routing is based on the zip code.
There's really nothing that members of this site would be able to do unless it's a Magic card shop that has a customer service rep posting in the Market Street Cafe Store Discussion forum. Since there's nothing that anyone here can really do, I'm going to go ahead and lock this.
